Yeah, I think my bracket has officially been busted. I think every year this happens.. I pick some other team (not a crazy pick, but just an off pick) to make the championship. Last year was Texas A&M, this year it was Stanford. Maybe I should change my strategy. =d
 
All my final four teams are still in it and are looking pretty good, but I've missed so many other games that I can't get any higher than fifth.
 
all i want for the rest of this tourney is for ucla and texas to lose...just those 2. Davidson, unc, kansas, memphis, louisville, and xavier are all fine by me.

P.S. Terrence Williams is a beast and will be a Corey Maggette-type player in the NBA, he's that good

There's a good chance, BUT, its never happened since the field expanded to 64 (or 65) teams.

Ugh, Texas lost, so I still have UCLA, NC, and Kansas (Hopefully).

With Kansas losing to UCLA.

Anyone know how to check how your doing in the league? I only get overall in Yahoo.

Anywho, Derrick Rose is a straight stud. The guy double clutched dunked it, that takes skill.

Stephen Curry is going to be that guy who is hot in the Tourney, enters the draft, dissapoints in workouts. I can't pinpoint a position for him, he's no PG, too small to be a SG because he shoots from his chest. Might go the Matt Carroll route, be a 3 point specialist.

not really the reason why I came here (it's a very good school for medicine/sciences), but it's a nice bonus to be a competitor in my favorite sport
 
I think the best I can do is 11th now. Like I said in an earlier post before Thursday's game I think I needed to have a longshot make the championship from the East/Midwest side of the bracket and when Davidson went down I was cooked.

Been a damn good tourney. Can't wait to see UNC - Kansas.

Yeah, IIRC I did that 2 years ago and that was highest seeds I ever picked before this year.

I know some people pick a final 4 and work backwards but I hate that. I go region by region, game by game and let the chips fall where they may. This year they just happened to fall with 4 #1s and I happened to be right.

I do pick a final four and go back from there. For something like this with a ton on entries I try to pick a championship game that I think only a few others will have in the group but still has a good shot at happening. I went Gtown - UCLA.

Yep, same here. The only reason I picked Texas was cuz there's never been 4 #1's. Oh well.
 
I picked Kansas but I was rooting for Davidson. Great team and that Curry kid was way too good to root against. Now, Kansas better pick up their game or my champion will be downed against UNC.

Yea, it's an excellent school all-around. Hope you're enjoying it. I have a couple of friends at both duke and unc and i've heard nothing about raving about the two. Somehow I'm inclined to believe that Hansborough will come back for his senior year, even if they win the title this year. Seems like the Florida Gators syndrome will get to him, ableit iirc, they all came back for their junior seasons before the nba, not senior.

Imho, he should stick around and enjoy it while he can. He's a helluva college player and North Carolina would once again automatically be the favorites to win next year. And although it's very, very, difficult as losses to unexpected teams can happen at the drop of a hat (see Maryland game this year), UNC would have a legitimate shot of being the first perfect NCAA team since the Hoosiers in the early 70's.

Good lord, they haven't even won THIS year yet. At least wait until next week and afterwards to see if bugeyes stays. I doubt he will, but you never know. (I got nothing against him or Carolina other than utter disinterest - well, except for in this tourney pool that is - but I just didn't feel like typing his name out ;)).
