My games have always been in great condition, but I will say that I had bought Ghost Recon from them before and it would not load onto my PS3. I think this was a defect with the disc itself, though.

Yup, and with all the additional time that the PS3 wastes, (it's so bad sometimes that I can't help but feel like Sony is purposefully trolling) you could work a part time job and buy all the games you want new, not used! But, uh yeah, blurays are pretty awesome... lol

Solid campaign. A lot of nice explosions and some pretty badass scenes you have to do.

MP is good, when it works :/

I tend to avoid most used games on Xbox because of this. Blu-rays are just much more reliable used purchases whether from Gamefly or Gamestop.

That being said, "superior console" is questionable (although I do prefer it). Perhaps you should just leave it at "superior media."

I hope so. Just read another post he did talking about spending $12 on hos. I am hoping this is all in his imagination because I would hate to see what he was doing for $12 if it is true.

Yeah there is no denying that Blu-ray is the better media (at least in terms of durability and storage space, seek time for gaming is a little suspect). The ironic thing about the PS3 using blu-ray was it hurt them in the beginning because of cost but is now a definite selling point for the system.

Go for it. Fun game. I recommend playing on the hardest difficulty. There's a few select parts that were a mother fucker. But it wasn't too bad.

There's A LOOOOOOT to collect. So if you enjoy doing that after you beat the game, then go for it.
 
Picked up Sniper Elite v2, Spec Ops The Line and MP3. Wanted P4A, DOA5, DOOM 3 but those were already gone. I also wanted Anarchy Regins but its not $13 on the 360 just PS3....WTF?

Check out Youtube before you pop in Resistance 3. Something about how the patch and game install can be a pain. I forget the details but unless its been fixed it can be a major pain if you do it wrong.

It was mostly if you go to delete the install data it will take an hour or more to finish deleting it. Even though it is only like 4GBs.

Yeah they sometimes do. Your best bet is to just re-fresh the page periodically and hope to get lucky. Or try one of those apps that monitors the page for changes.
 
My experience. I was able to finish Resistance 3 on my PS3 about a year ago just fine. Last week I decided to go back and get all the trophies for the Platinum trophy. The game prompted me to install an update as soon as it boots up. Now my game won't load the last stage (New York), and I can't get the last 3 trophies for my platinum. I tried deleting the game data, and that took over 30 minutes, reinstalling and I still can't get the last stage to load anymore. Beware of buying Resistance 3 now with that final patch out!

Kingdom of Amalur is badass! A very good game, and well worth your money and time.

It's good. And is what Fable's combat should be. But I never finished it, there's WAYYYYY too many fetch quests for me.

SERIOUSLY gamefly STOP with this keep only crap... Way too many games in backlog for a subscription to gamefly even being an option just to get some games cheap. Although this might be a good thing to keep me from adding even more to my pile

Yeah, just sucks when you work all dayand miss stuff like this. I don't expect them as a business to put some out later for people in that situation, of course they want to sell immediately, but it would be nice, especially on a weekday.

yea i mean their daily sales usually starting at 8 pm is great, too bad they couldn't do that for every sale. i wouldn't have seen this if i hadn't checked caught the email at work
