- As has been said, it starts on July 19th. I cannot remember offhand the date that it ends.

- Trade any 2 games, get any preorder for $29.99. I forgot to check if XBox 360 games are included in the deal, but as most people have already stated, I highly doubt it.

- The two games that are traded in for the deal must retail for at least $7.99 each (preowned price).

- The credit can still be applied towards the $29.99.

Preorder Lists (Dates are subject to change and when those changes happen up date us in the thread and I will try my best to update here in OP so people won't have to read through the thread to find them)- Credit to io for supplying these lists.

Rent unlimited games for a month. You can have one game (or 2 depending on the pass) out at a time and can return it whenever you want and switch it out as many times as you want.

$21.99 for 1 Game

http://www.gamerush.com/rules_gamepass.php click this link to find out about gamepass at Gamerush.

You must have a credit card/check card to signup. Checkcard must be visa, mc, amex, dc, or diners club. You can also do it by getting a prepaid visa, mc, dc or amex card with at least $1 on it so it will clear the authorization and just pay for it each month (very tedious though). You can cancel at any time. Good on any rental game (gamecube, psp, nds, gba, xbox, ps2).
Anyone know what Xenosaga2 trades in for? Like Dead to Rights 2, it should be $10 at TRU starting Oct. 20 (i.e., drops to $20 AND it's green tagged).
Xenosaga 2 trades for $12.50 and that was a month ago might be less now.

Anyone know trade values for these?
Juiced (PS2)
MOH: European Assault (XBOX)
NCAA 2006 (PS2)
Gran Turismo 4 (PS2)
Star Wars Episode III (XBOX or PS2)
Thanks for any help!
Still no Tony Hawks, but my GR got in Fire Emblem and Stubbs today.
my toy r us has the Dead to Right II on the shelf, but still mark $49.99, and there's no green tag sale sign anywhere... if the game gonna automatically ring up $9.99 tomorrow? or the sale of videogame is YMMV for Toy R us? thanx

Traded in 4 games today, pre-ordered two:

Trade in Values:
- Rallisport 2 - $4.50
- Splinter Cell:pT - $6 (they gave it to me free....twice actually with different pre-orders)
- Conker - $12
- Ape Escape (PSP) - $19 (I guess I was wrong on the $22 standard thing)

Pre-ordered
- Hitman
- Gauntlet

Will cancel and swap for 360 when the person is in :)

Also, picked up The Warriors....pretty fun game, they did NOT have X-MEN Legends 2 yet for PSP in....I might cancel that since I'm not a big PSP player anymore.

Anyones Gamerush get Shadow of The Colossus? Mine said they wont get it till Friday! fuckers

Is Burnout Revenge still getting $35? Im thinking of getting rid of it and keeping Takedown. Hell a new Burnout may be ready in a year for the next Gen systems, if thats the case, Takedown can keep me entertained for another year.

I saw Shadow Of Colossus at the GR I went to today.

So Dead to Rights 2 still gets $27, right?

Won't get a chance to call them before tommorrow, and I just want to know before I buy every D2R2 my TRU has in stock

My GR also didn't have SotC, which I am kinda glad about. Had they had in there today or tomorrow, I would not have been able to pre order it due to the preorder having to be done 2 days before release.

Yes, Dead 2 Rights II still gets $27. Picked up my 3rd and 4th copies today to get SotC preordered, and used the change to get Phoenix Wright, since they didn't receive Big Lebowski Collector's Edition  .

Tried pre-ordering Stubbz The Zombie, but dude said it wasn't in the system, wtf? Oh well, I am sure there will be a price break at Fry's come Friday.

I traded in Burnout Revenge today for $27, but since the board said $35, the guy gave it to me at $35. And I traded in Nintendogs for $10 and pre-ordered Kingdom Hearts 2.

The Plymouth, MI let me switch 4 Xbox games to 360 games. The game manager is the best! Everyone in the area should go to this GR if its in driving distance. I get pre-order bonuses and they actually call me when the games come in.

This is most likely YMMV, but I just traded in Dead to Rights 2 at $24 at my local Blockbuster. Just last week they told me it would get $27 or $28.

On a side note, I also traded in:

Steel Battalion: Line of Contact: $24 or $26, can't remember
Blinx 2: $7
Bloodrayne 2: $7
Another Dead to Rights 2: $24
Shadow Ops: Red Mercury: $5 (no longer gets around $20 at FYE.. :( )

I've just got to preorder Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Half-Life 2 both for Xbox. I'll need to get 4 copies of D2R2 before they drop in trade in price. After those two, all I need to do for the rest of the year is rent Radiata Stories and The Warriors, and SotC, burn them with HD Loader (if they work) and then maybe buy Tony Hawk's American Wasteland. I'm set til next March, :D
How do you not get a chance to call a store that's open until midnight?
School until right now, checking CAG real fast, going to bed to be up by 6 am to work a job?

I don't want to call Gamerush, get put on hold for 10 minutes while they find the person who is supposed to be working there, just for them to dick around while they try and find the trade in price, just for them to tell me "You should just bring the games in".

Now that it's still confirmed to get an obscenely high value, it's time to shop this one around to a few Gamerush's. It's like Nightmare of Druaga all over again!!

I'm pretty sure SotC doesn't work with HDloader. I just downloaded it last night and it won't play, everyone was saying it wasn't compatible with hdloader.

If SotC doesn't work with the HD Loader, then I'll just wait for it to hit $20 or less. I liked ICO quite a bit, but I thought the demo of SotC controlled HORRIBLY. :D

Weds evening: picked up Shadow of Colossus, Jak X, and Fire Emblem. They all came in today apparently (no call to let me know of course).

I went through my usual list of preorder possibilities (no Suikoden for PS2 or PSP, no Final Fantasy for DS or PSP, no Tales of Eternia for PSP, no World/Children of Mana for DS, no new Shadow Hearts for PS2).

However, they DO now have Untold Legends: The Warrior's Code for PSP in the system! It is only a $39.99 game, but I'm desperate :D.

If you really were cheapass you would buy them during the B2G1Free sale on sunday since then you could get each one for $6.60 or get two for $6.60 and a $20 game free! :p

thats assuming the TRU glitch still works come sunday.

So tomorrow I'm going to preorder Battlefield 2 and RE4, any other good games coming out to preorder? I have a ps2 and xbox.

What are my chances of getting the preorder deal to work on SotC today? Is it a YMMV by store type deal, or should it be easy to do? Should I target a clueless employee?
What are my chances of getting the preorder deal to work on SotC today? Is it a YMMV by store type deal, or should it be easy to do? Should I target a clueless employee?
well the general rule of thumb on stuff like this is always target a clueless employee. If your store doesn't have it in stock I'm going to have to say you should be fine if you want to preorder it. If they got it in though it's going to be tough. I asked if i could preorder farcry when they got it in and the kid told me I only could if the store didn't have any copies left. So my buddy bought all the copies of farcry, I preordered it for 30, he returned them all, and I got my game all in that same day.
You know BB continue to amaze me. I found another way to maximize my BB experience last night.

I'm a member of the all you can eat online BB rental, and as part of that promotion I get 2 free rentals a month (Game or Movies).

Last night I decided to rent Capcom Classics for XBOX, I'm sure everyone knows that if you don't return an item to BB that you will effectively buy it.

What I noticed last night is that my receipt had the final buy price for the game I was renting, a whopping 12$, yes the full 8$ coupon value had been subtracted from the game price. I commented to the clerk, that at 12$ I would be nuts to return the game. He goes, Oh!! If your not going to return the game I can give you the case and cover.

Score!!!

So I effectively got a brand new game for 40% off (12$ instead of 20), of course the % off will vary based upon the game, but you will be getting an 8$ discount for every game you keep.

I will now never buy a 20$ game, but rather use my free rentals as discount coupons :)
Funny story, I noticed the same thing a couple weeks ago but now im waiting on blockbuster to contact me because my game said it was free after I rented it lol..

They said they would tell me whats going on when they find out but it may only cost me $1.50 BTW OKAGE is the game
Stupid question time: Will the DDR Mario Mix come with the pad?
Yes, it is packaged with one pad. I'm gonna see if I can exploit the CC sale next week to get a second pad for $10 with the game, then return the game (and hopefully not have to pay the extra $10 for the second pad). Though if I have to, I'll pay $20 for a second pad... it loses its appeal if my fiancee and I have to take turns.

TRADE IN NEWS!!!

Dead to Rights 2 (ps2) - $19

Dead to Rights 2 (xbox) - $27

I was under the impression both version fetches $27? Now you guys know which one to get at TRU.

I preordered GTA: Liberty City Stories in full with about $13 left over, not bad for a $20 investment :D My store didn't have X-Men Legends 2 for PSP today, either, and the shipment had already shown up.

kinda strange.. trade DTRII to gamerush and still get $27..
then trade another one at blockbuster but only get $24.. oh well Score Lunar DS for $29.99 - $27 trade in.. so i'm happy.. paying roughly $10 and $5 in store credit for Lunar.. (and all the times driving of course :) )

I've been debating on what games to get for preorder and it just hit me.

Call of Duty 2 Collectors Edition
Mark Ecko Getting UP Collectors Edition

Both of these should be 59.99, when the time comes, i'll cancel and hopefully switch my preorder for a X360 title? That's if the 2 for $29.99 works on current gen games without accessories that go for $59.99

It doesn't work on games that are more than $49.99. Your chances of getting this to work are just as YMMV as trying to get it to work with X360 games.

Even weirder that the ps2 version only gets $19 now...

I picked up two more DTR 2 (xbox) to trade straight up for X-Men Legends 2 for PSP... I'm technically only getting the game for $20 this way :D

is the magna carta preorder at GR the special edition set? I don't really know anything about this game, is it supposed to be awesome? and is it turn based rpg?

Did anyone's GR get X-Men Legends 2 for PSP in today?

man, that is way lame. I really want this game but I just don't have the money to get it unless I can get it for 30 with trade in stuff.

On a side note, what does everyone think of stubbs? It's cool but it seems repetive and short. I just started playing and I think I'll have it beat by the end of the night.

Also the warriors is sweet.

Trade-in Values

XBOX:

ESPN NFL 2K5 - $2.50
Grand Theft Auto Double Pack - $12.00
Ultimate Dead or Alive - $12.00
Full Spectrum Warrior - $6.00

Also, while I was trading, a district manager was in the store. I had the guy who traded in my games ask the manager about any future XBOX 360 trade-in deals. He said none yet and he doesn't see any coming up, but if they announce one it will be either just before or at launch. They expect the games to sell without a deal.

Traded in:

XBOX Dead 2 Rights II - $33.75 x2
XBOX LA RUSH - $33.75
XBOX Far Cry Instincts - $33.75
GCUB Custom Robo - $15.00

All with 25% extra and preordered

DDR Mario Mix (it worked! :D)
Mario Party 7

how did you get an extra 25% trade in?

Anyone know how much stubbs goes for? this game is super short, i beat it after a few hours.

Now now - I have those games preordered as well :D. The Mario DDR is going to be a Christmas present for my daughter. It's pretty awesome that he got those 2 games PLUS an extra $90 in credit. Should have made a 3rd preorder though :D.

I was unable to unable to preorder SotC yesterday. I guess once they receive it into their system there is no way they can do it. Good thing it is only a $40 game. It will also make it easier on my conscience when I trade in a few copies of D2R2.

I would have but the other game I had was a "not for resale game" I didnt see the little label and they wouldnt take it.
