Not bad, I've been working for this company for a year and a half now (we make plastic trim parts for Honda). It's not the greatest job and my bosses can be annoying but it's a nice steady paycheck.

How's everything your way?

I liked it but its hard and can be frustrating. Its a good game but you have to plan and prepare for combat. Its worth $10 on sale . The preview of Witcher 3 got good press at E3 too.

I'm at the beach and the waters like 56. Not even 60. It sucks.

Everything's going well. I'm finishing up my dissertation and should be done this fall. I don't know if you were around when I had my third kid, a girl.

I grabbed it on a whim yesterday. I don't know when I'll get to it, but I hope I like it. Is there a way to scale down difficulty? I don't have time for frustrating hard shit.

They updated the pc version to introduce a better tutorial and make the beginning easier. When it first came out the opening was so diffivult that people couldn't get past the first boss. But I didn't play until after the update.

The hard bit is you need to prep before fighting monsters. Like you just csnt roll ijnto a dark forest and tear shit up. The villagers nedd to tell you whatid bothering them. Then you need to figure out how to protect yourself and what its vulnerable to. Then you gotta potion up for the fight.
 
Hopefully shouldn't be too long of a weekend.

Will probably spend more time on the handhelds.

Vanquish is going smoothly, I'm playing it on "casual", of course.

 
So I'm at the phillies game and its 96 degrees and there's a couple really really hot French women visiting the US sitting next to me.

Well I can't do shit because I'm with my elderly dad and he's done nothing but embarrassed me.

But it's funny thing is there's a group of about five south Philly guys sitting next to to them too. And one of the guys, the closest is trying to chat her up. And he would be succeeding, but his four other friends are clock locking him. When ever he starts to make headway they butt in. And it's that whole south Philly obnoxious shit they're intentionally ramping up to screw thier friend.

I've been watching it for three innings and its hilarious.

Lucky guy. I still haven't seen either of them yet. I've seen Jonsi solo twice though. It was great. The summer concert flood starts this week for me. It's a ridiculous ammount of shows in a two month period. Here's what I've got going on...

So is the "Notifications" button/feature kinda broken, or do I need to tweak my settings for it? -as I only get updates for this thread and CheapyD status updates :lol:  All other subscriptions seemed to be ignored. :sadclown:

If it weren't for the my content / content you follow [the closest fucking thing to the old UCP that I can find] I'd have given-up on CAG completely.

Oh wow that's nuts. I've just tried getting Mumford & Sons tickets in Indy but only lawn is available. I hate how fast even presales sale out on shows I want. They are also doing a "festival" type show close by but sold out. Also, Pearl Jam isn't coming close to me again with Pittsburgh the closest.

 
Thinking about driving to Charlotte for PJ, but it is such a fucking haul out there (like 80 bucks in gas). Probably going to do it, but it does suck.

NIN comes earlier in the week to Raleigh, which is nice. Still have to buy tickets for that.

 
Anybody read "Of Our Spiritual Strivings" by W.E.B DuBois? Having trouble coming up with a topic sentence for my summary,mainly because I didn't understand the main idea.

 
Laptop broken. Stuck using my phone. Tempted to get a chrome book, but also realized I want a CD/DVD drive in there,
Will PR Olly get a cheap Acer or lovollo something sub $300.
 
Acer isn't a bad brand and some nice deals can be had on their laptops. For some reason I like Dell while nobody else does, but of course I haven't had a Dell in like, years so maybe they're worse now.

 
My last Dell was back in the early 2000s and it was decent for me (although was pre-owned and definitely put through it's paces). I never had an issue with their computers, but recall them always getting a bad rep because of their customer service.

Only computer company I have 100% sworn off is HP/Compaq. Bought a laptop from them years ago and lasted maybe just over a year.

 
Its a Compaq now that has died. Thing won't boot up after going into suspend mode. Its 3 years old.
Luckily I store most stuff in the cloud or on an external hard drive now.
I'll head out to best buy tomorrow. Wouldn't mind checking Fry's but that's an hour south.
 
Jeez, this site sucks now with IE9...no wonder I never post anymore.  Half the threads lock up on me and the other half go completely white when finished loading.

 
I wish I could make something this good up: An Elvis impersonator died on the shitter at the local casino. I have a friend that works in the surveillance room, and I could not stop laughing after she told me.
