Nice. I just finished up getting a few runs in on Rogue Legacy before crashing. I played a bunch of TLOU today with Topside, and mpaulin joined us for a bit. We'll likely both be on sometime in the morning if you're around then. I normally play mainly at night but I have a couple days a week where morning play is viable.

 
Guardians of the Galaxy was really good! My favorite Marvel movie so far, but I don't like most of the others so maybe I'm not the best judge. Definitely much more entertaining to me than Avengers though.

I used to work on campus at our version of a FedEx Kinkos and some guy from Boston came in one day saying he wanted to send a "bax". We used to send a lot of faxes for official documents so I thought maybe that's what he wanted until he pointed to all the boxes by our shipping table and then I understood.

Edit: I forgot to tell the people who are getting Diablo 3 on PS4 to add me because I'm probably going to get it.

I think we only got around to Castle Crashers. Wasn't MrNinjaSquirrel there and ooga or someone? I remember like two of us talking and everyone being silent. I accidentally deleted my game when transferring HDDs and didn't see a separate save file so I haven't gone back to it.

Yep, they were there. I swear we played something before that though. We were already friended I believe.

Just redownload Crashers. The save data is linked to your gamertag. Once you start it up everything will be there.

How many people here have played Transistor? I have no idea what the story is about, but I have to say gameplay wise it has to be my favorite game this year. I am over halfway through and unless it drops off in the next few hours, it will easily be one of my favorite downloadable games.

If Lester was really wanting to stay in Boston, he would have signed an extension with them. I wouldn't count on him coming back.

Additionally, Gomes hits lefties slightly better than Cespedes, and he will be platooned with Vogt/Reddick/Moss/Fuld/whoever is left-handed and not otherwise in the lineup that day.

The A's are renting Lester for the playoff push and post season. One of the Sports Radio hosts was talking to a guy from Boston and said that most likely what will happen is Cespedes and Lester will be there for opening day in Boston. The A's aren't going to pay either player what they want and Cespedes is at the end of his contract. The reason Boston and Lester won't sign is because Lester wants a long term deal and at 30 years old that's a high risk. Just from being a fan of the A's, you learn that they don't keep anyone and that your favorite player can go at anytime. I was so bummed when Johnny Gomes left and I have always been sour on Cespedes' streaky bat. I am bummed to say that the possible 3 time homerun derby champ wasn't an Athletic, but homerun derbys aren't world series. Something that is also nice for the post season is the A's can go Righty, Lefty, Righty, Lefty...if they wanted to. Regardless of all this, it will be an interesting October for all teams. The thing that scares me the most is the Angels potentially winning the division and the A's getting in a one game playoff and having to throw their best pitcher out there. I think because of his cool calm demeanor and playoff / world series experience it would have to be Lester. Ideally for me it would be Sonny Grey, but putting the pressure of a one game playoff on his shoulders is too much. I'm getting a bit ahead of myself, but the point is, the A's need someone with this experience. Imagine if the A's had him the last two years against Detroit. It may not have been a slam dunk, but I think they would have had a better shot. Thanks for reading the rambling. Very few of my friends are sports fans, let alone baseball fans and on top of that don't care about the A's.

I also agree with u Transistor, its so good I beat it 3 times in ng+. I still got no idea what happened in the story but dat soundtrack doe.

According to the report, releasing The Evil Within into the Cero Z (18+) rating would severely limit the audience for the game, and subsequently its revenue potential.

Takahashi asserted that the censored and uncensored versions will play identically.

The Evil Within is due for launch on October 21 on PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC

Has anyone watched Hemlock Grove season 2? They stepped their shit up from season 1. If you watched season 1 and haven't given 2 a chance, I highly recommend watching it.

You mean the America that also see's itself getting 'censored' games? I wouldn't be surprised if that also happens over here with Evil Within. It also happened with Manhunt since it was about to get an 'AO' rating so they got rid of some of it to get that 'M' rating. Then you have those unique niche/Japanese games that sometimes see themselves being censored. I hate censorship in general though.

That torture scene from GTA V and pretty much anything that had to do with 'sexual themes' was censored in Japan. Which is a bit ironic, considering how perverted the Japanese can be sometimes. Not that I'm judging/against that sort of that thing. As long as it's not harming anyone. The portraits of the females in The Witcher also saw themselves being changed for the US release.

I wouldn't be surprised if something was censored, but I would be surprised if it was a preorder bonus to get the uncensored version. I almost stopped playing at the torture scene in GTA V, it went on a bit too long.

I know Oakland won't pay for Lester. I'm saying that Lester isn't a lock to return to Boston after the season. Lester wanted way more than what Boston offered early in the season, and Lester's been one of the best pitchers in baseball this season. His price has gone up. It'll go up further if he continues to pitch well into the postseason.

Corgrstradums sees a CSG with an Insane Clown Posse shirt. She collects Pop Vinyls, even for the movies and shows she hasn't seen. Her favorite is her Breaking Bad set, but she threw away the Walter White in the hazmat / meth making suit because her ex boyfriend gave it to her. He broke up with the day before her birthday, but still gave her the gift. After that she had trouble talking to men and that's why she attended the communication group. She sees Snakey standing over by the veggie platter trying to talk to another girl, but instead he turns to a guy that is wearing an Assassin's Creed hoodie. They start to talk and the girl awkwardly stand behind Snakey. He turns around to see her smiling and turns back to the Assassin's Creed guy. They finish their conversation and Snakey sees her sitting by herself. He smiles at her and she waves. He doesn't talk to her at that meeting, but thinks about her until the next one. At the next meeting she sits next to him. Snakey wants to say something, but the meeting started, because she showed up a bit late. One of the exercises the group participates in is getting to know the people sitting next to you. Snakey first turns to the person to his right, which is not the CSG and gets to know him. Finally he talks to her and learns that she moved to where they are when she was 13 and has stayed in contact with one of her friends, who is still her best friend. Snakey doesn't care about any of this, but he listens. The second part of the exercise is they request volunteers to introduce their "new friends." No one volunteers and Snakey gets selected. He has a decision to make the AC guy or the CSG. He selects the CSG. He retells her story and does an impressive job. She is flattered. This is the first time that a guy has paid attention to her since her asshole ex boyfriend. It takes Snakey a few weeks to get the courage to ask her out, but once he finally does, she gladly accepts. TBC but i hope you enjoyed the first part of the Snakey Love Story.

I'm going through the playstation now beta games and just saw they have a 4 hour option. Wtf am I going to do in Port Royale 3 in 4 hours? I know it's beta and it probably will be for some time, but $7.99 for a 90 day rental of Knytt Underground, when the full game costs $9.99 is crazy. Even at $3.99 for 7 days, I'd rather pay the $6 to get the full game to keep forever. This may sound like a stupid obvious statement, but it seems like Sony is just trying to get game sales out of this service instead of rentals. What I mean by that to be clear is, instead of people renting and then wanting to buy, they will look at the price and say fuck it, I am just going to buy it. A 90 day rental of Saints Row 3 is $29.99 when you can purchase the game from PSN for $29.99. Okay to be fair ...Saints Row The Third is the full package for $29.99 when you can purchase it for $39.99.

As lame as this is, I think they are just really good friends, almost brother and sister type thing, and just like working together.

Plus other actresses know Adam Sandler movies have gone WAY downhill and shes the only one he get to be in them with him.

Props to everyone who recommended Festival of Blood. So good. At first I didn't think I'd be able to adjust to how drab the old Infamous art style is but I got over it. They honestly could make a game centered around just the vampire powers. Ugh...but Zeke. I really dislike everything about the guy.
