They would put all the Sleeping Dogs DLC on sale after I traded it in last week. Oh well lol. Still had fun with it.

I've been hesitant about Kane & Lynch for years because of the mixed reviews. Would you say it's worth pickin' up the series at those prices?
What's the opinion on the Pixel Junk games? I'm an old-school and pixel-art sucker, but haven't played any of them. Thought one of them for $5 would be a good way to push me over the $50 spent hump. Which one of them would be the best to go with?
I have only played Pixeljunk Eden and Monsters myself, didn't care for the tower defense gameplay of monsters but I know plenty of other people liked it. Eden on the other hand I loved, very unique platformer, nice visuals, the later levels can get really difficult though.

KnL1 has no trophies, didnt play it.
KnL2 has trophies and a pretty interesting online, I got a bit of fun out of it. More fun would have been had if I had a 2nd player to split screen it with. good for under $10. hard platinum to get since online has a low population.
Monsters is the best game in the series. It's also one of the best tower defense games ever made.
I'll mirror this statement.

It even has a nice couch co-op function and me and my buddy had a blast just perfecting each stage.

Hmmm. I have narrowed down how to spend my last $12 to the.next free ten

Wheel of fortune, which I want for a party game

Or

Uncharted card game
Pixeljunk.monsters
Red faction : Armageddon

Both total $15ish

I know which would give ME more entertainment value, but not sure how long I would keep interest in the card game, and red faction will be under $5 again for PC shortly, so I'll have to mull it over. PJ Monsters doesn't have a huge draw simply because my mobile gaming backlog is insane. Hundreds of hours on 3ds alone, not to mention the Vita .

Just a heads-up on the Pixeljunk Monsters Deluxe sale price: it's for the PSP/Vita not the PS3. Should have been obvious but apparently I didn't read. Was looking to upgrade to the Deluxe version that included Encore (which is $6 by itself) since we already own the original and accidentally now own the portable version. Bummer since my wife and I like to play co-op.
Is anyone able to log into the web store?

I'm having issues too. It took me several tries to get in, and now I am having issues adding things to my cart. Probably gonna try and clear my cache one more time before giving up for now.

I'm using Chrome FWIW.
thanks Frisky for the update..
man.. I can't imagine how you painstakingly organize the updates every single week...

(your format is much more understandable than grace's)
Agreed one million percent.

Nothing for me this week somehow although there's a lot for sale.

The big question is should I buy R&C:FFA, HSG add on, PSASBR add ons to get at least 38 more dollars to take advantage of the 10 off? That's a lot of money to spend.

PixelJunk Sale lasts until 4/9:

So you can take your time with the purchases if you want.
probably getting this too.. guess this is low as low can get!
Yeah, I have the 360 version on disc, but this just seems like it should be played on the PS3. I don't know why, but that's how I feel ;).

trying to add Stacking to my cart - I've downloaded the demo, but never purchased it. Other things are adding just fine.

Getting the "You are not eligible to purchase or download this content" error. Any thoughts anyone?

I timed out checking out w new bioshock but it dled with glitched status maybe got free hahaha i wish... Since then i cannot connect. It was timed full ver.

I actually didn't think PixelJunk Monsters was all that special. I liked Shooter 1, Sidescroller, and Racers more. All of them are pretty good games (save Eden which I found to be beyond awful) and 4am (which I haven't played).

Racers is actually my favorite, I had an amazing time playing that with friends and going after my friends high scores on leaderboards. Sidescroller is short but fun, and meant to be replayed multiple times in order to get your money's worth. Shooter 1 & 2 I actually felt like were a little bit too long and got repetitive, but both are fun games.

It was free forever ago for PS+. Maybe you got it then?
Servers down for anyone else?
they are for me. i can connect to PSN but get an error anytime i try to go to the store or access account management. just came home with tiger 14 too :(
by the way weren't these pixeljunk games like a buck a while ago?
Yes, a lot of them were.
I just spent the $50 on PSN. Is it too late for me to get the $10 worth of credit, and if not, how will I know if I qualified for it?
Not too late. No way of knowing if you qualified, but you can go into your account history and add up all your totals. If you definitely spent over $50, you'll get the $10 back in mid-April.

Now I know why I've always hated you. ;)
Just kidding.
Maybe.

The great thing about the variety of gameplay and art styles in the series is that almost everybody has a different favorite game and list of favorites in the series.

My favorites list:

1a. Monsters Deluxe
1b. Monsters
2. Eden
3. Shooter 2
4. Shooter
5. Sidescroller
6. Racers 2nd Lap
7. Racers

You have until Sunday night at 11:59 PM PST to have at least $50 spent, which will get you $10 back on April 12 via email and your PM inbox. All of this info is near the top of the OP, for future reference.
Yeah Wtf is up with that
Yeah, after a couple months of constant sales on Vita stuff, we only get five Vita games and six PSP games on sale this week. They're not even trying anymore.

I hope you two are joking because we've had a ton of Vita games on sale so far this year. There can't be that many games left that anybody with a reasonably varied taste could be upset to get just five games on sale this week.

You forgot to mention that PS+ members are only getting ONE full Vita game this week that still retails for $30 on Amazon. Just one!?!? That's some bullshit, I might as well just smash my Vita right now, it's obvious Sony has no desire to see it succeed.

Also, screw you too Frisky. ;)

Minisquadron is a fantastic mini and a buck well spent. Beat it ages ago but will likely replay. It's like time pilot. Super fun and I hate hate hate most minis.

Pj monsters is incredible, perfect for cooping with the wife.

does anyone here actually have monsters deluxe on their ps vita? idk why i cant transfer mine

edit:nvm, if anyone has this problem just buy it on your ps3 and then you will see it on you ps vita store downloads and youll be able to get it through there

Don't gotta get pissy because someone you will never meet doesn't like a deal one week out of the year, Smh. Like would you rather a dissertation on why or is it ok to have an opinion without someone sarcastically quipping on how you're wrong, know what I mean jelly bean? :p
If I rainbowed Pj monsters coop on the ps3 is the psp version worth getting?
It has a new island, a new tower or two, new monsters, and they've retuned the first two islands so that the difficulty progression is a lot better. It's a great improvement over the original.

I'm not pissy. I'm just asking a simple question because I don't get the complaint. "Yeah Wtf is up with that" isn't really an opinion because it says nothing without requiring further clarification on what you mean.

Should probably point out how of the 42 titles that have not been on sale this year, five have been available free with PS+ this year with two more having been free last year.
ok, this probably sounds really stupid, but where is the Worms sale from the OP title?
The OP hasn't been updated yet, but it'll be in there soon. Sorry about that.

I liked pretty much everything about Eden, except the time limits, I really hate time limits in games, they stifle exploration and experimentation, that game would be perfectly relaxing to pick up and play every so often if you could go at your own pace.

Will have to add up what I still need to spend, if I am in range that sleeping dogs will put me over the top I'll probably get that as that makes it the equivalent of $15.
