It about makes me sick to get on Ebay looking for steels and only seeing Best Buy ones listed.

I would say at least 60% are from best buy

Actually, according to the site, Scott Pilgrim is Region 1.

Ordered Pilgrim, Hulk, and the Bourne trilogy. Concerned that the site says the Bourne trilogy is one disc.

there is unboxings for all of these on youtube and 99% of the time they tell you if theyre region locked if anyone is curious

It's region free. And the Bourne set is definitely 3 discs.

Throw in Battle for LA (Walmart I think) and Iron Man 2 (Target) as well.
 
I remember trying to find Cowboys/Aliens a few days after release, didnt happen. Also went looking for Battle: La about a week after and none found.

I found Cowboys/Aliens a few days ago at a used movie store for $15 :D

Apparently Amazon had a couple of exclusive Bond steelbooks as well (Goldfinger, Moonraker, World is Not Enough)

Iron Man 2 from Target wasn't officially a Steelbook but a lenticular MetalPak.

its just the steelbook which is exclusive to amazon germany, comes out to $22USD shipped, i ordered one myself last week

That is a lot for just a Steelbook. I mean its cheaper than what people want on eBay for the Futureshop Exclusive, but still pricey. I don't understand why they didn't do a pre-order steelbook here in the states. Its teh only part of the LE I want!

I bought the District 9 steelbook from amazon.de and it arrived today. I was impressed by the packaging. It was like a cardboard brace inside a box. So much better than the envelope Best Buy used to send a steelbook.

And the Metal Gear steelbook is a classic example of my compulsive addiction to these things. Not really interested in the game or Raiden, yet I'm paying around $22 just for the case.

Yeah I usually limit myself to $25 max when shopping for video game Steelbooks on eBay. I try to collect just game Steelbooks except for the BBY ones.
 
I know we have a separate thread for this but no one really uses it(see below), but is there anyone on cag that actually wants to sell/trade steelbooks with other cag's.

Injustice Gods Among Us UK Special Edition:

The lack of Steelbook exclusives in the United States absolutely pisses me off! I really want a Skyfall Steelbook, but it would cost me $60+ because I would have to buy the Steelbook version from Amazon.uk plus an American version cause the UK version is region locked.

Well the steelbook is sold out on Amazon.uk anyway but where are you getting $60+? To import the steelbook its around $25. Assuming the normal blu is going to be ~$20 (making the assumption that it'll drop more before release). That'd be $45 not $60. And then you could sell the region B disk for $5-10. Get used to it. Europe/Asia get steelbooks. We don't
