i haven't done one of these bundles before so i wanna ask 1 question. say i beat the average now and it goes up past my average i paid, do i still get the next bonus or do i need to predict what it might hit and stay above the average then to get risen, metro and other sacred game? ( if that's what the next bonus is)

As soon as you buy it, you'll get the keys for whatever tier you paid for. So if you buy it now for $5, you have the working keys even if it goes to $6.

Also, anyone who buys in at any price now will get any bonus games they offer later on. People who didn't buy in before the bonus is revealed need to beat the average to get the bonuses.

awesome thank you for a quick response

I'm going to be in for either just Risen 2 or for Riptide. I just feel like if I hold off on Riptide until I would actually have time to play it, it would be $5 like Dead Island was so quickly.

Everyone needs to be on this, even if it's just for Metro 2033. That game stuck with me.

So I just booted up SR2 and it is running like superfast.  Read online it is a known problem with Windows 7 and Vista, but should have been fixed if you have Windows 8 (which is what I have).

They have some things you can do to tweak it and try to make it slow down, but it is an annoying bug.

You probably already saw this, but there's some info on getting SR2 to run over at reddit (see top comment):

http://www.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/comments/1jd2x8/the_humble_deep_silver_bundle_dead_island_riptide/

You probably want to install at least one mod.

I installed Saints Row 2 running on Windows 8.

GTX 670 with an i5 3570k, 8gb RAM.

Framerate runs at 30 frames, even lower than that. Dont have Vsync on and don't know what is causing it. Really want to play it, but it just bothers me. Was it a bad port? Something wrong on my end?

Disappointing, it was one of the reasons I got it along with Dead Island.

EDIT: Read the link above, I guess it's normal.

I no longer any PC games over $5 because of bundles like these... this is a great bundle especially since I do not own any of these on steam.  In for $5.

Man, bad time to not have a buck to my name.  Well, I actually do have several bucks to my name, but I think I'd rather pay rent than add to my Steam backlog. :joystick:

This is a good FAQ with most of the fixes for Saint Row 2.

So get this. The Humble Soundtrack for Sacred2 is missing the Rock song from "The Concert"!!?! wtf?
My exactly thoughts when I downloaded it. I paid $1 to support them (as I have all the games here I want) and to get the soundtracks...and that song was missing.

You can get it from the band themselves

You should also get all their albums too because they're amazing but that's besides the point.

Hahaha, lots of people paid much more for one game, than this bundle. Not making fun of you guys, it's just that the thought is amusing. I don't PC game much, or at all since I got a sucky computer, so I never buy any Steam games except for the Humble Bundles, more or less.

Paid $1 for some possibly great games.

It is a pretty crappy port. The mods help, but I have a similar spec computer and ended up just turning a lot of the graphic effects down really low. It ended up looking like Vice City graphics wise, but way more fun.

After a while, you don't even notice the graphics. I guess you could say it degrades gracefully. It wasn't until I went back and played some of the cutscenes with all the effects on that I noticed a difference.

Watch out with the extra clothing mods. Trying to select some of the modded clothes and outfits routinely crashed my game.

Loving Sacred 2, played the heck out of it on 360 and PS3.

Can't wait to play some more.

Dragon Mage for the win

If it hasn't been mentioned before; Metro 2033 takes a pretty beastly machine to run at a decent framerate (on high settings)

I just got the Tier two package.

I got the codes in an E-mail link to the webpage with the keys on them. When the bonus games get added will they be added to the page in the E-mail link? I just want to be sure how that works. My brother was the one doing the buying and he didn't make an account on the site he only entered his E-mail for his bundle and mine. I had to get him to forward the E-mail for my bundle to my E-mail account. I also told him to make sure to never delete the E-mails for them.

Actually, I'd kind of expect that song "Sacred Worlds (Sacred 2 Version)" to NOT be on a Soundtrack - b/c you'd likely only expect original scored music from the game on a soundtrack, not licensed songs.

EDIT:

I actually have a Sacred 2: Fallen Angel - Collector's Edition (Retail Box) that I bought from Amazon.

It has a 4-song sampler-CD w/ a few Blind Guardian songs & an interview w/ them.

Here's the 4 songs it came with:

"Another Stranger In Me"

"Fly

"Mirror Mirror"

"The Bard's Song: The Hobbit."

If I paid $1 and I want to add more for the rest, do I just add more or do I start over and make another purchase?
go to your download page and click the "Like what we're doing? Want to add more?" button at the top of the page. Pay over whatever the average was at your time of purchase and you should have the other games added to the same page :)

EDIT: and just to be clear, the amount you have to pay includes the dollar you already paid, so you don't have to spend say $5 if the average was $5, you only have to add $4.01 (this is just an example obviously, I don't know what the average is/was).

I've heard Giant Bomb mention numerous times how bad the PC port of SR 2 was.

This is the reason I don't buy PC games unless they're dirt cheap like these humble bundles.

Depends on what you mean by can. There is no physical limitation, and people do it all the time, but it is technically against both Steam's Terms of Service and Humble Bundle's

I know this isn't exactly on topic, but I am going to call in some CAG help here. I just want to bring awareness and stop a guy from ripping off a ton of indies and consumers alike.

I bought Brutal Legend from a seller on ebay earlier today with about 2000 feedback score. First he linked me to direct download of Roller coaster Tycoon and then eventually to the drm free copy of the game on humble bundle. Obviously, this isn't ok. I sent him an email demanding a refund and a response in one hour. He didn't respond so I called ebay and had them pull the auction which he had multiple items of and left him negative feedback. I also filed a claim. My money isn't the issue though.

What makes this worse is that he has tons of feedback that is positive from other buyers regarding these digital downloads that are essentially piracy. I've gone through and reported them all but id appreciate if any of you can do the same. You just go to the auction and right above the description click report item and mark that it is Copyright or Trademark infringement, Bootleg Records or Unauthorized Media, Unauthorized Copies of Media (software and games) and a brief description. Note the seller does have a lot of physical goods as well which i have no idea if it is legit or not but the digital only stuff is all suspect.

Here is a list of suspect items in the spoiler:

If you don't believe me or don't agree with me morally that's ok but I couldn't stand by and let the folks at humble get ripped off and the indie devs. I also understand that ebay can be a sketchy site and isn't always a good place to buy items from but I've had some very good experiences there and totally legit ones. Again I just want to bring awareness to this if I can and stop them.

Damn. I bought it normally and not as a gift thinking in a few months I may be able to make a small profit selling it perhaps with something extra. I thought people on here sold steam keys all the time. I really don't want to read through Steams TOS. I figured since no one responded when I asked here July 29, that it was not a big deal and was ok.

That reminds me is there no way to add keys to your account and send them to your inventory?
unless there is a super secret button that lets you, I don't believe they have changed to allow keys to be stored as inventory items (probably to prevent people loading up on bundles and trying to trade them off to the unsuspecting masses) << in no way is this directed toward you, just my thoughts on why you can't

Wait so you purchased Brutal Legend and at first he linked you to a digital copy of Rollercoaster Tycoon? And then he linked you to a DRM free copy of Brutal Legend? So what the guy is doing is using 1 Humble bundle and continually selling the same DRM free games over and over again? If that's true then... Wow =P

I mean I have sold Steam key's before, but that's like a one time use thing. To sell a DRM free thing over and over again when you don't own the IP is just bananas.

Exactly. It's Bananas and he has apparently been greeting away with it for months. Help me shut this loser down.

Yeah that is what I thought too that'd make sense.

hmm.. am i blind? where are the bonus's gonna pop up? Usually when they have them theyre blacked out little squares. I see no squares anywhere. I jumped on this early, but that shouldnt effect what im seeing should it?

I think you are confusing Humble with Indie Gala/Royale. They put up placeholders, Humble traditionally doesn't.

I have just played an hour or two of Sacred 2.  It reminded me of the old Dungeon Siege game.  The character classess' models are really over the top (cyber angel?), bordering on ridiculous.  However, I would choose this over the generic fighter/mage/rogue classes in other ARPG.

Nice sound effects.  Voice works not so great, though.  Enemies, when they are struck down, will yell out in the fashion of a junior high drama scene.

Environment is drawn in bright colours with great details.  You can see critters running around in the forest.

So far, good impression.  A light-hearted ARPG.  A nice change from dread filled dungeon crawling.

I was expecting them to add Metro and Risen but not Sacred Citadel, that's a nice little surprise.

its one single key for all three games btw

it does not appear that the first page of this post is correct. You have to BTA to get the bonus games.
Did you buy early? Historically, if you buy before bonuses are unlocked you get the bonuses no matter what, but if you wait until they are revealed then you have to pay BTA.

It might be different for this bundle, but in the past that's how Humble normally worked. I paid BTA for Dead Island anyway, so I can't be certain how it was done this time.

so do you have to have BTA to get the new keys?
If you buy the bundle now, you would have to beat the average. If you bought it before the bonuses were unlocked, you would have received the bonuses today when they were unveiled. It has worked this way for quite some time with Humble Bundles.
