Bought 6 Xbox games today, all great!! For a total of $29!!! These would be $311 after tax if bought at release.

Got these 4 for $3 each:

Ninja Gaiden (Loved it back in the day, bought it on release and beat it. Got all 50 Gold Scarabs. Mainly getting this for the collection and the SNES OG Trilogy on here.) (I own Sigma on PS3 and the NES trilogy on Virtual Console.)

Oddworld Munch's Odyssey - Launch game, played the demo at display kisoks. Heralded by many as great, so it's time to see what's up. A worthy addition to my collection.

GunValkyrie - Originally developed for the Dreamcast!! An exclusive from Sega. Looks pretty great, and underrated.

MechAssault GOTY - Self explanetory... I already own the original but wanted the GOTY version... more maps and features.

Batman Dark Tomorrow - $7.10 shipped. People say it's so bad, well let's see what time it is then. I'll try to find some good in it (Along with Drake) and try to drop some reviews on these. Shall I attempt Trigger Man? I couldn't handle the PS2 version, so idk... Maybe Xbox one will be better.

The Suffering - $10 shipped. Now THIS is one HELL of a game. I dropped a lot on this compared to the others, and oh boy was it worth it. This game is freaking AWESOME. The cover is bad ass enough, but the gameplay is SICK. I gotta get the sequel, but nothing will ever touch this classic...

Got myself a Yomega Brain yo-yo. ;) Anyone remember these? I had a hit of nostalgia. $9.66 with 2 day shipping, which is why I love Amazon Prime. Just laid down a few pre-orders. This one will be of note since it comes out at the end of the month. Pre-ordered the LE of it too. Will be great for when I come back with a Japanese xbox :D

Dino Crisis 1 and 2 were fairly solid (with the second getting into a Parasite Eve 2 / Resident Evil 4-like weapons upgrade dynamic). Be warned though that with each sequel the story got progressively weirder--I never played 3 but I saw the reviews about dinosaurs in space.

Brave Fencer Musashi - PS1, $26 shipped... Gosh damn I paid an arm and a leg for this. But I loved it back in the day. Already bought the guide months ago. Never sell your games, people. At least it's new, so it's in flawless condition. Not sealed... But I'm gonna play it anyway.
 
Combat: Task Force 121 - Xbox, $4.49

Sentinel Crisis - Xbox, $4, new

Two extremely obscure titles here. The second one is so obscure, the PS2 version was actually canceled, but yet the Xbox one was released just in time. Near the end of the system's life. I'm gonna try and review these to shed some light on some otherwise unknown games.
 
Dragonball Season 3 - $23.74. It was in my Goldbox. I paid $27 for the first two seasons, so I couldn't refuse at this price... But I MUST curb my spending... Just gotta make it one more week 'til I get that $420 paycheck... Oh Lord help me now, it's gonna be hard.

From the looks of things the reason they're unknown is not only because they came out a bit later in the Xbox's lifespan, but the general consensus is they're not good (which is likely why you were able to get them for under $5 each).

Combat: Task Force 121 is sitting at 45.33% at Game Rankings and 44 at Metacritic but with some favorable user reviews.

Not to be outdone, Classified: Sentinel Crisis has a ranking of 43.67% on Game Rankings and 41 at Metacritic (with one user review of 1). Maybe the PS2 version was canceled because it was even worse than the Xbox version and the developer/publisher wanted to save themselves the embarrassment?

Either way, "obscure" doesn't appear to mean "good" in the cases of these games.
 
Someone went in to a game store and wanted to trade in GTA IV, CoD WaW and Lego Batman for $15(all 360). I offered him $20 and gladly took it. :)

There's definitely some luck on your part, though. When my local one went out of business, all I could get was No More Heroes for $5. Everything else was crap or simply overpriced.

There was a blockbuster that closed by me a couple months back. They were asking retail for crap games (and I think they got it). :cry:

Boondox - South of Hell (CD, with bonus DVD) Just came out today... 13 bucks. Pretty decent artist. From GA, so I gots respect. Country.

House of the Devil - DVD, New - $8.77 shipped. Very nice horror film... New, but set to be like an old film from the 70's. Creepy.

Drive Thru - DVD, $5.41 shipped. This is supposed to be the best clown killer movie ever... starring Horny the Clown. I gotta see this.
 
Returned SSFIV cuz I figure by the time I really want to play it that it will be $20. Returned that used copy to GS and got 3-D Dot Game Heroes instead. Traded for Metro 2033 in the TF so that is good :)

Sorry to most of you guys but I am leaving the country for almost 2 weeks starting on Thursday so I had to unload most of that stuff at GS. I have a nice pretty $240 balance on my edge card now for $75 worth of games though!! :D

Rage Wars was sealed, but it was dirty as hell (on top of the fact that the seller shipped it in a bubble mailer, which is why the box is ugly), so I removed it. Good thing it was only like $15 shipped. I was giddy when I finally saw KI pop up, since I spent the past few weeks searching for a sealed copy. Too bad I missed out on an original (as opposed to Player's Choice) GoldenEye 007 for $200. :(

The guy that sold me SA2 put it in a DVD case protector. I thought that was a nice touch.

This is an extremely amazing haul. I've always wanted that 3 pack. South Park on N64 is a great novelty game, full of swears. It was the shit in 5th grade. SA 2 B is extremely awesome, too.. KI Gold is sickly. And Rage Wars is a beast ass FPS... that is great solo or with friends. I like to see great hauls like this. I own all of those games except the 3 Pack. I own Shenmue II on Xbox, a sick ass game too...

Uncharted 2 - $28 shipped from GS... Not quite a beast ass pickup but I'm satisfied. Been wanting to pick it up since I re-bought my triple so I'm looking forward to playing it. And if it's anything like the first Uncharted it will probably hold it's value for a while.

I just won a sealed copy of the two-disc Platinum Edition of Aladdin for $13.49 shipped on Ebay. Not an amazing price, but used copies start at $18.88 and new copies start at $21.45 on Amazon so it's still a beast purchase.

Shrek - $5.89 (This was an Xbox exclusive, really it was a system seller when the system first came out. A platformer! I had to have it.
