Sadly, P.B. Winterbottom'd out at like 75 cents two winters ago and was $1 last winter. These prices must not be fully updated yet, because they certainly aren't what we were expecting.
 
Steam Summer Sale Getaway FAQ keeps going up and down.

Mystery cards appear to be just cards like any other cards. You craft a badge, earn summer getaway themed emoticons and backgrounds just like the game ones, except you have more chances to earn them, by voting, buying games, etc.

What do I get when I craft a badge?
Crafting the Summer Getaway badge (and other game badges) earns you tradable items like emoticons to use in chats or discussions and backgrounds to use on your profile. You can collect the set of cards five times to level up your Summer Getaway badge and earn more items. Each time you craft a badge you also earn XP which progresses you towards the next Steam Level.
So, it's nothing particularly special. No indication whatsoever of free games.

Do you really think that will get lower? Winterbottom is a fantastic game, had it on my 360 and want it on Steam.

 
Of course I can't get connected to the store at all.  But nothing much is really grabbing me that much anyhow.  I do appreciate the screen grab from above.  Thanks SEH.

 
Steam is melting (unsurprisingly)!  I really want Grid 2 but I know it will be cheaper by the holidays.  Also, for anyone buying Don't Starve do note that the two pack is only $1.50 more.

 
The things that say this sale ends July 22 ... is that the end of the Summer Sale, or is that a point where the game might go on a different sale? Could a game go lower before the 22?

 
Don't forget to check websites for indie games. You can't use your Steam wallet, but you may get the game DRM-free and on Steam for the same price.

Hello.  This is my first Steam Summer sale (built my PC in May).  I've been waiting patiently the past few days because I have been hoping for a Valve Complete Bundle that has been for sale in the past.  I've ignored the Half Life sale and the L4D2 sales and it was really hard to not buy because I want those games along with CS Go.  Now that L4D2 is on sale again, and CS Go is as well, should I just buy those games and get The Orange Box if it goes on sale?  Or just keep waiting for the valve complete bundle?  Thanks for you're help!

Thank you for taking the fall and crafting for us. These Steam badges are so worthless, and they're not doing anything to make them better. They can't even give you a free game for that? That's so weak.
 
It's amazeing how they are pushing those cards. 11/14 deals on the main store site has relatively huge 'CARDS' tag on their images. Considering the quality of discounts this sale seems to be rather about cards than games.

 
Seriously... Far Cry 3 for $24....????

There already were just a few games I had hoped for but seeing this already along with a $30 Bioshock Infinite I doubt I will get anything besides perhaps a couple small indie games this sale.

God damn it. Just rebooted Steam and got all excited when I saw that I had 6(!) new items in my inventory. All six were coupons for 10% off Toki Tori 2... At least it stacks. Anyone want one?
