Absolutely incredible that Incredipede lost the vote. I'm steaming mad. Ima vote for the worst game every time for now on. I already voted against System Shock 2, even got a card for it.

I assume all the Penny Arcade games have a continuing story right?  Or are episodes 3 and 4 a good buy for someone who hasn't played any of them.

System Shock 2 wins the CC. I guess I'll get that and the graphics mods. It'd be faster than trying to find the CD I bought in 1999 of it.

They do have a somewhat continuing story, but you can just as easily play 3 and 4 without playing the first two.

The DLC are fun if you like the game, but short at about an hour long each. Take note that a lot of people encounter crashing with the DLC because of a save file memory problem with the game. There's a fan created work around for it though if you search around.

 
Huh, I didn't realize Saints Row the Third had a Cheapy D pack, that's pretty sweet.

Someone known as "Le Corbeau" re-did the entire DARK Engine (Dark Engine Patch 1.21) for Thief 1 and SS2 just to make those work on Win 7 w/out any hassle, a while back:

I was wondering the same thing. I heard it's the predecessor of Bioshock so I'm curious about it. But I think I won't like the graphics. Same reason that I don't like playing the original Half Life.

 
YES! Finally gonna make my first purchase of the sale on System Shock 2 :) quick question: is it important to play the first game before 2, or are they self contained enough?
