YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

My store has the "take this slip up to the counter so someone can grab the game in the back, for you" policy. For those CAGs that have stores like this, is the deal valid?

Unless the stickers find their way onto the pictures of the games in the aisle, I think I'm SOL.

 
Port Richey, FL store had quite a few things tagged.  They were still throwing the 50% off ones on accessories (I hope the 360 Batarang controllers get marked down as they have quite a few of them)

Nothing too spectacular, but there were quite a few $18-24 games that are still $30-40 on amazon/gs

Should still work. I know with our ticket pouches, We put the sticker on the bottom corner to signify it's part of the sale on our bikes and such. I'd assume it's the same on games.

 
Snagged quite a few 3DS games with a Green tag on it, and one that wasn't tagged yet, but I took it to the scanner to double check, and it was indeed on clearance as well.

 
None of the games at the Fremont store were on clearance except for this dog game that came with a dog toy. Figure I'll go back tomorrow or Saturday and see of anything has changed.

Was almost a bust for me, but I did find a blue Claptrap figure that was $6 after the discount (was green tagged).  Only other gaming-related figure I saw was a nice looking Lara Croft from the new TR, but it wasn't tagged & I didn't check it.

Don't hold me to this, but I believe those did have green rags on them at my store. Not 100% on that though.
 
Has anyone tried using the 10%/20% coupon on any of the clearanced items yet? If so, what would I get from an accessories like a PS3 headset? That's not exactly a video game, so would it be 20%?

Mine had a lot of VITA games tagged green.

Brute Splicer (Bioshock) green tagged and 6.99 (I think - may go back for that)

Bunches of LOTR figure sets with green tag (at like $24, I think)

PS3 X11 or 31 - Blue tagged at $60 (so $30)

Xbox 360 kit (controller, HDMI, DVD remote and 3 month XBL) - $70, blue tagged (so $35)

Games were pretty unimpressive. Did pick up the Kinectimals one.

There was SHIT TONS of other stuff on clearance. I just stopped looking.

 
Picked up 2 games for the 3DS:

Kid Icarus: Uprising - $40 ($24 after discount)

Resident Evil: Revelations: $20 ($12 after discount). 

Had a lot of other games on clearance too but didn't bother checking. Most games weren't worth getting but for whatever reason, Nintendo games tend to hold their value for much longer...

 
Stopped by my TrU tonight. Mainly just Xbox games on clearance. Xbox batman controller was blue tagged.

Kid Icarus 3DS was green tagged at 40$.

Sony 7.1 headset was blue tagged and some old maddens were the only PlayStation games tagged which sucks. Turtle beaches for PS3 were blue tagged and were sold out.

Was hoping for maybe a DualShock3 tag or any game tempting me to buy it with a reasonable discount but Nada.

Left with 2 La La Loopsy dolls b1g1 50% off for my daughter.
 
Found Lego Batman Play & Collect (Nintendo DS) - $19.98 [Blue Tag]

Picked up both of them they had left (One Joker Pop Figure and One Batman Pop Figure) for $9.99 each

Probably just give the games as gifts to my nieces and keep those adorable little figures for myself.

They had lego star wars clone wars boxed with the plushes, too. $29.98 blue tag for both ds and wii.

And I found a copy of Golden Sun on DS that rang up for $2.99... had a green tag on it for 29.99. Whatever, I'll take it!

The only other thing that looked like a decent deal was the Kid Icarus green tag at 39.99. Most of the stuff y'all are mentioning was not tagged at mine.

Has anyone seen any 3DS XL cases clearanced? Mine did not have anyarked as such.

Check at Big Lots for cases.

Mine had some for $1 today.
 
Watch for :3DS: Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance.  It was marked clearance with green tag @ $29.99 at one store.  Rang up $17.99.  Found two more copies at another store in the glass case that were not marked clearance, but rang up for the same price.

 
St paul MN store (not sure which one but im visiting and hit one up that was close to me). A lot of games green marked that were mentioned but here are some i found that werent mentioned. I dont remember all of them but ill list the notable one

Only games tagged at mine were Lego Star Wars DS pack, Lego Batman Wii and DS packs, DS styli, DSi XL Folio cases, screen protectors, a 4GB Vita Card, some Pro Xbox 360 controller that was originally 70, and Xbox 360 Batarang Controllers. All were blue tagged. I almost got the Batman controller (Would have been 25) but decided not to. Overall it was pretty crappy, especially considering how much garbage games from 2008 that were still there with no clearance.

Just came back from my store, kid icarus was the only noteworthy 3ds title. Was hunting for some cheap ds pickups, and kingdom hearts
 
I saw a bunch of stuff that other people mentioned here, including some of the Lego Play and Collect bundles (I think my store had 3 different game/figure bundles...two wii and one ds).

I was hoping to find Bust-a-Move 3DS, but no luck.  Didn't see too much I wanted to spend money on, so I walked out with a $12 copy of Little Deviants for vita just for the sake of getting something.  The guy at the counter joked that he thinks I'm the only person who's ever bought a vita game there.

 
For everyone reminiscing about great sales gone by...how is it that you all forgot about the recent Best Buy Christmas Blowout of 2011?  $5 DotD as far as the eye could see.

 
picked up another Kinectimals (2.99 after discount) last night since the one i got my daughter for christmas went missing...

also got the kids some iXL games for $1.19 after discount

 
Council Bluffs, IA store had Kinect Nat Geo, normally $29.99, rang up for $17.49.  No stickers on any games at all there though.  So you basically have to keep checking prices with the game slips.

 
Thanks, for this one.  I just picked up Green tagged Lego Lord of the Rings (regularly $19.99) and Sleeping Dogs (regularly $14.99) both for PS3.  

 
Found (2) copies of :ps3: Blur marked $19.98. Grabbed both for $11.99 each as I believe sealed copies are becoming rare.

nothing at Westminster, CA toys r us. FF13 for $19.99 + 40% off....but still too expensive. I shouldn't have went, that toys r us never had any good games in the first place

 
Most of what I saw is the same as mentioned but I did see a few copies of the first Dark Souls game for 19.99 (or 12 after green clearance). I also picked up the last copy of RE:Revelations for 12.
 
WTF none of the TRU around me have their stuff clearanced...are they all in a BIN together with other clearanced stuff? Or is it all still behind the glass cases?

 
At my local store most of the games are still behind the glass case with some of the "value" games (including some part of the clearance) out in displays near the electronics register.

All of the stuff at my store was still behind the glass case (at least the stuff that was behind the glass case to begin with). Look in the glass case for green stickers on the games.

 
Went for kid Icarus, the guy said another person came in looking for it and the closest one was in Connecticut ( MA tru ) mostly just xbox 360 and ps3 games off, I did buy Two kinectimals with the bear + game for 3 bux a price , and the. Aliens infestation ( ds ) for 7.99 not very cag but heard its a metroidvania. Will try darthmouth next.

Also what was the kb toy sale all about
