YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

Seriously? I just went there yesterday afternoon, around 2PM. They had 1 more copy of Brain Age, but I got the last copies of Steel Diver, Spirit Camera, and Warioware. When I was checking out, the cashier was so excited to see Spirit Camera for only $5.99, she called the electronics guy during the middle of my transaction and asked if there were more copies. He said no. No idea why they didn't have these games when you were there. They were in the locked case at the back.

They also had a couple copies of Dream Trigger 3DS for $5.99 that I was tempted by...

Most marked games there I got cheaper even after their 40% off.

And now there is another CAG in my area ;)
 
I tried my local store again but upon review they had removed about HALF of the games from display and consolidated PS4,PS3,360/XBO into one aisle behind the glass.  I looked around for a clearance bin and found one... it contained about 30 DS games but nothing else.

I assume they shipped them to another location or wholeseller.  All I saw that I was interested in was Zone of Enders on PS3 but none of the games I went with the intent to purchase were in stock.  Sucks for me.

 
Has anyone found ~any~ Lego sets at any level of clearance? I wouldn't expect TRU to clearance them, but I can always hope.

There have been a couple, I'm down in Louisiana currently on vacation and saw two Cars Lego sets and City Marina tagged Brown, but that's all I've heard reported as far as Lego sets go.
 
Yeah, figured it would be the older sets that have been on clearance at various TRUs (as well as being a low % off), unfortunately none of the stores around me have any left in stock.
 
Found a Live starter kit at my local TRU. There were a couple extra, down in Miami Fl. They also had some GOW Marcus figures for like $3 and some halo sets for the same. They also had a couple of the Patriots from bioshock but wasn't too interested in those. Thanks a lot op.

Haven't played the game yet but man is that thing awesome. If that was on clearance I would totally snap it up. NECA said they aren't making a Songbird figure, but they are doing Booker, they put a pic up on their Twitter and it looked really nice.
 
I picked up the Jak and Daxter collection and Lollopop Chainsaw (lol) for 12$ each. The sales associate told me that these deals will be running all the way through summer but it may be YMMV. They had a lot of games marked down. The 'percent off' gets taken off the original price at the register.

It would be nice but most of the good stuff that's not already gone will probably disappear as soon as the percentages go up further. This is the best clearance stuff I've found at TRU since the original Xbox days.

Yeah I couldn't resist this, either, especially since I have 2 small kids. The only game I bought but I found a bunch of video game figures and the Tomb Raider statue on clearance. Also got all 3 Walking Dead banks for $3 each even though only 1 was marked clearance. The cashier just did an override down from $23 on the other 2.

Oooh, I need one of those. My son hates looking at them, regardless of how many times I ask him. I need one as a punishment tool. If he does something really rude I'll send him to his room with a bag full of pennies and have "the bank" waiting for him.

Were both Tomb Raider statues clearanced? I've had my eye on those and the MSRP is just silly.
 
I grabbed a couple things today at my local TRU that were not tagged, but were on clearance. I went in there hoping to use that 20% off coupon, but both the games I ended up grabbing were clearanced, so I didn't worry about it since it said it was only for normally priced items.

Anyways! I got:

  • Yakuza 3 (normally $19.99, was green clearance for $11.99) - very surprised to see this game new, they only had one copy though. The price label was a little brown, so it must have been there a while :p
  • Silent Hill: Book of Memories for Vita (normally $15.98, was brown clearance for $11.19)

Gonna check out a different TRU near my work tomorrow and see what else I can find.

 
They're making a Ben Franklin robot figure as well, those George Washington just came out. I love NECA figures, unfortunatly they don't make many figures for licenses I'm interested in.
 
Went to the local TRU (Fullerton, CA) and they didn't have anything worthwhile, really. I picked up Sleeping Dogs (PS3) and Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PS3) for about 8.98 / 8.99 a piece. I heard great things about those titles in the past, but I wasn't really looking for them. I sort of regret picking them up -- haha. I could have saved the money for something more worthwhile like that SMT Devil Summoner game coming out this week on PSN or Dark Souls 2 or something. Oh well.

 
Toysrus in Independence, MO is terrible.  Nothing is GOOD only few Junk & old games $10 - $15 with Green Tag (40% off).

Just a heads up to everyone. If you find an xbox live starter kit, make sure the gold and 400 point live codes are there and working. I just bought two and one had the papers completely missing. The other has it there but not confirmed if it's unused yet. Both had the tape on the bottom of the box torn so I suspect I'm SOL... :/

Thanks. I was hesitant and found one but checked the stickers and all good. I redeemed the codes with no problem.

 
All Vita related merchandise had a blue sticker (50%) at my Toys R Us.  Was able to grab two Vita's for $100~ each and some 3DS games.  The Flame Red 3DS also had a yellow sticker and priced at $169.99, an employee said they had over 50 left in the back, so it may be worth the wait for those to get really cheap if some are available at your store(s).

Wow, I didn't even think to check the actual consoles. Is there anyway to check stock on the Vita? It doesn't show up on TRU online, but I would be interested at $100. I passed one up for $60 at Half-Price Books the other day.

Just arrived at toysrus, and the manager says he hasnt received any in stock for months. Also hasnt heard of any clearance on it and acknowledges its not listed on the site. Might be the select stores that have it in stock, and even then, found no stores in my location that have it :(
