Yeah, I saw the gold gifts were ready the other day and took Link's Awakening too -- I'd been meaning to buy it but had the feeling it would be free for one of the rewards. Since I didn't want a calendar (and the calendar doesn't sell for jackshit on eBay), I figured the $6+tax was good enough. :lol:

Smash, Links Awaking, or Super Mario Land for Nintendo Rewards?

I 'm leaning towards Smash since it's 1000 Wii points and the others are only $6 and $4.

 
Holy shit, the patch for ZOE2 actually fixed it.  It's way smoother now and they even added AA.  ZOE was left untouched, but who cares.  We have a legit ZOE2 HD port now!  I approve of this HD "collection" now.  PS3 version because the 360 one isn't getting the patch.

I think I liked Infamous 1 more than 2. I'm about 75% done with the first island, and already I wish I was back in Empire City. The enemies in the first game were so much cooler than the dumb rednecks I've seen so far in the sequel. I'm kinda offended, being a southern boy myself. Why are rednecks always the bad guys? Why can't I electrocute commies instead? I wish more games let you shoot reds like they did in the old days....

My new PS3 blu-ray laser should be here tomorrow. Kinda nervous about swapping this out myself, but I've watched a youtube vid, so I should be okay, right?

Yeah I'm playing through 2 now and it's good but not quite as good. Wait til you run into the assholes who have ice powers they are just bullshit.

The one part in the PS3 version that would dip into the single digits is now a solid 60fps. Some parts that slowed down in the PS2 version don't anymore. For example, whenever Anubis shot his projectile in the PS2 version it would slow down. Now it doesn't and it's immediately noticeable. They also added anti-aliasing to ZOE2.

 
I'm super surprised to here they actually patched ZOE2.  The HD collection has been out since what, last october?

 
I love me some Johnny Gat!

I just started up Asura's Wrath and while I'm really early into it, I'm fucking loving it so far. Something about this game makes me feel like a kid again.

I loved it as well. I got pretty hyped in the middle of the game. I WAS LIKE YO ULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

I even bought the DLC support capcom!

I think I've fought a couple of them. I just got to where
the chick got her powers and I gotta coach her to control her powers.
But I did just get the machine-gun lightning bolt power, which I am kinda diggin' right now.

I have almost bought this collection several times and changed my mind. I have heard of its faults and HD mediocrity and never could pull the trigger.

That Capcom Arcade collection/cabinet thing is down to 1200 for all of it with the half off price if you are into older arcade games, I'm probably gonna get it.

I really like all three of those games, and I feel that your logic of picking the most expensive one makes sense, so I would probably do that if I picked a game.

Also free digital goods is not a bad thing. Personally, I'll take a free $6.50 game as opposed to the calendar I'll never use and can't sell for profit. :cool:

Yeah, you would think Capcom would put it out on everything, it's not like it takes a lot of work.

And I suppose I could agree with you if you only got gold, but since I got platinum I want to pick one of those 2 exclusive rewards instead of a game/calender.

For a $1 get the Ryu DLC. Part IV is the true ending to Asura's wrath.

I had a lot fun with the Ryu DLC there's a mode like SF4 you gotta pull off combos and such pretty fun
