Coupon is no longer printing out at the registers . However I'm thinking someone should start a dedicated target coupon thread . I don't have time to keep up with it or I would do it myself . Between this and the magical b2g1 coupon there are some great deals to be had .

Seems like the pokemons were the popular 3DS purchases this week, The Kmart flyer certainly helped. Ended up being like 21 bucks per game or less w the coupon...not bad

I walked away with Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, and Mario & Luigi: Dream Team for $45.40-something.

Walked in this evening before close, showed the clerk the coupon on my phone, scanned just fine, then as he was lowering the scan gun, I punched him in the face with my phone and ran out of the store with all three games for free. Hit the security guy with my car as I drove away, but I was glad to have gotten in on the deal.

I think this man wins.

Seriously, I can't believe that people brag in these threads about return fraud and pricing errors.

people please read the first pages of the thread for info! the 30% off two games is a catalina coupon if you bought a game or presale card the past week or so but its not printing anymore. If you did not get one, your out of luck. I know is very tempting to use the digital copy of the coupon, but it is coupon fraud.

i got an override today and thursday and both times i didn't even ask for it. The manager just immediately did it as soon as the scan didn't work.

1. Bought 3 PS4 games on Tuesday. $129 with B2G1 (this somehow required an override).

2. Tried to return all 3 on Thursday to re-buy them and use the coupon and get a $5 gift card from the AC4 preorder card.

3. Failed, because apparently the manager in step 1 above just rung up 2 of the three games and just handed my wife the third. The third game was not even on the receipt at all.

4. Ended up returning 2 games for the full $129 above and rebuying those two games for $89 with the coupon... i probably could have gone back and picked up a third on the re-buy to complete another B2G1, but didn't. I got the $5 gift card as well. The coupon didn't scan so the guy at customer service just applied $36.

5. Because of the way he applied the coupon, i was able to return one of the 3 games today for a full $65 (which was rebought by someone else in about 5 minutes).

6. I then got three $59.99 PS3 games, intent to use the coupon and the B2G1. It wouldn't scan, but the cashier called the manager and he just added a $37 credit ($1 too much even though I told him it should be $36). Each of the three games has a return value listed of $40. Total of $86 less the $65 above. Now I have 5 games and a $5 gift card for $110.

7. Goal for the coming week is to try and get a straight exchange done on one of the PS3 games for Lego Marvel PS4 and then return the last for $40.

8. Final tally should be something like PS4 Assassin's Creed 4, PS4 NBA 2k14, PS3 The Last of Us, PS4 Lego Marvel and a $5 gift card for $67. If i can't do the straight exchange, it should be the same games as above for around $87.
Nice!

Everyone who is commiting "coupon fraud" knows what they are doing is wrong and it is their risk. No point in putting it on every page of the thread. It is up to target to read the coupon and deny the use of it OR for an admin to take this thread down.

I really really wanted to use the coupon, but I read the fine print PLUS copying any coupon is technically fraudulent.

Three games for the price of two is a great deal as is, so bless Target for an amazing deal other companies were not willing to match (for the same period of time). my 2 cents.

Not everyone does understand that their actions would amount to coupon fraud and it is important to let them know before they naively use a scanned coupon in case their Target decides to escalate the situation instead of just denying it.

i got on this deal early and came out pretty good.. got 6 ps4 games for $160 bucks. that 30% off coupon was great while it lasted. was able to get two of them easy with pre-order cards. only bought 2 pre-orders and got two maybe i got lucky heh. never seen a deal like this in a long time..

I hope you guys understand that the REAL 30%  coupons are perforated with a swirly type design on the top.  Take a real close look or even feel it.  Frauds beware.

Is it coupon fraud if I have the coupon, scanned it with a coupon app specifically designed so I don't have to carry around my coupon, and used that scan app from my phone to show it to a Target representative, who allows me to use the coupon scanned without any issues?

Yes, what a stupid question. Besides, you know what you are doing is wrong so stop acting like it isn't.

Where are the mods to bring down the hammer on you losers?

How is it fraud? The app is specifically designed to create the barcode of the coupon so you don't have to carry the paper version with you. People don't always carry coupons with them, but this app allows you too. Don't see how that is fraud, considering I have the paper version too. It's basically a digital back up of something I have. It's up to Target if they choose to accept the barcode from the app or not.

Stop being so judgmental buddy.

Yes. If you read the back of the coupon it clearly states that it is "void if altered, duplicated, copied, reproduced, transferred, traded sold, purchased, auctioned, [or] exchanged." So copying it to an app would void the coupon and violate the terms.

You cry too much. People will keep using printed coupons no matter if they get banned or not so what's the point.

Thanks for your answer.

I am just waiting for my Brack Friday Bunduru so I can preorder metal gear 5 and get that awesome map of Japan.

Coupon states "void if copied, SCANNED, altered, transfered, purchased, sold...."

Not really, only planning to buy 2 more games to end my game shopping for the year. Can always give my paper copy away though.

on friday i bought knack and killzone, and they both came up $39.99. has this happened to anyone else?

Uh oh... my wife got the coupon after making a purchase at Target, and then she gave (transferred) it to me.

I am very worried. Is this where I go to turn myself in to the coupon police?

Honestly, I shouldn't say anymore until I consult my attorney.

Honestly I think the coupon fraud is crazy. Why can't people be satisfied using coupons obtained legitimately for the deal?
because there wasn't any to be obtained

How is getting 5 preorder cards, getting a coupon, and returning trhe cards different from using a picture coupon? Obviosly some targets take them

OP says the coupon is dead. Does this just mean the coupon is no longer printing, or that Target is actively refusing their own coupons? Legitimate coupon, btw.

I was able to use the coupon last night. I believe the OP is referring to the fact that the coupon is currently not printing. I was able to get the guy working in the game department to let me keep it though (I hope that isn't fraudulent).

I meant the coupon is no longer printing , as far as I know the coupon still works fine , have one more myself I'm saving for a rainy day . Sorry for the confusion I'll edit the op .

Some of you guys are acting entitled to a coupon, which is silly. It's one thing to get a legitimate paper coupon. It's another to have infinite use of it through an app, which is against the coupon's terms.

Maybe if one more person shakes their Internet finger at people here under the guise of "letting people know what they're doing is wrong" while solely coming off as a total douche, they'll ALL just wake up and never do anything dishonest again.  That's what I'm pulling for.  I hope you guys succeed in your efforts.

This is getting kind of out of hand.

If you want to make copies of it and use it yourself go ahead, you are the one to blame and commiting the action. Don't post it on the internet for everyone to use, you can get people in alot of shit. The coupon is a target coupon so its almost the same as them just marking something down. They loss that money. If they let you keep it, whatever I guess you got lucky but you really have to be a dick about it??
