I've wanted this for quite a while. I mean, Nintendo even does it, so it can't be that hard.

Not really. Don't find people saying how long they put into a particular game very interesting, really couldn't care less about being able to track it...

For me it's not so much for bragging as it's just something I like to know. I'm a stats junkie so it's also cool to see how things build up over time like you can on 3DS.
 
I like it just because many games don't have time counts and make estimates on forums, howlongtobeat.com etc. guesstimates.

I like to know what I'm getting into so I can avoid games that are too long for the amount of gaming time I have currently or paying full price for a super short game etc.

I like the stats too but more for productivity reasons, good way to make sure you're not slacking off too much lol. Also a good way to see which games you're actually getting your money's worth out of. Love that Steam tracks it.

 
Not really interested in (false) stats. Whenever I see an in-game clock or the game save gives a time, I always wonder "Does it tick while the game is paused?". The answer is 90% yes, so worthless.

 
Could care less about time, but I would love for the trophies that require a certain number of things to be done (collectibles, how many times you jump, win 20 matches on Hard, etc) to show. Nothing like being completely oblivious to how close you are to a trophy because the game itself wont tell you.
 
Does anyone know how the ps3 to ps4 season pass for ghosts works? I'm assuming my brother would just need to sync his account or just download the season pass on his ps4, but I guess neither of those are working for him. Has anyone had this problem?

Well damn. I thought that suspended games. Oh well. It's just a curiosity for me and the howlongtobeat.com averages tend to be mostly accurate which is the main thing as I'm trying to avoid single player games over 10-15 hours. Just don't have time for them and I tend to get painfully bored of gameplay after that point.
 
Just finished up inFAMOUS.  Since I was a fan of the inFAMOUS series, I enjoyed the 3rd installment.  I still need to play the Cole Legacy DLC though.  Is it worth playing through? I'm about to sell it to a prospective buyer and I'm wondering if it's worth holding off.  I assume it explains what happened to Cole? I'd be annoyed if they did a cop out and was vague about it. 
 
So I started Watch Dogs next in my queue of PS4 games and am about 1 hour in.  How do you guys mark the main mission waypoints on your GPS? When I'm driving around, it gives me the option to mark the secondary side missions with my D-pad like finding Fixers and what not but when I try to go to the yellow marker, I'm getting frustrated not being able to drive the fastest route since it doesn't seem to give me the same option.  Does anybody know? I'm getting annoyed with it already that I may just get rid of this game to make room for the Destiny beta in a couple of days.

Push the middle touch pad, locate the mission with the right stick, and push X on the location.

The main story for Watch Dogs is worth a play through... The plat is tough and the drinking games are ridiculous!

Excited to really dive in and actually beat the game this time!!  Now if I could just finish Watchdogs and get it traded in towards NHL 15!

im thinking of picking it up once my gamestop gets used copy i have buy 2 get one free used game coupon good until sep so waiting for that to use coupon.

It crazy that we're less then 2 weeks till release and we still havent seen ANY gameplay or proper comaprison videos. This is some serious Titanfall 360 shit and Im not liking it lol Im still getting it regardless tho *Kanye Shrug*

What is there to see... it isn't like it's a new game like Titanfall was! And that was a downgraded game. The Last of Us is already a great game that is just going to run better and look a little better, nothing else new to show.

Podcast Beyond on IGN stated the review could go up this week, but definitely before it is released if you are worried.

The problem with Titanfall 360 was that it wasn't shown at ALL until release because it was shown that it didn't look much different over the Xbox One version and they didn't want that publicity. That's likely the same thing he's talking about here that it may not look that much better so they're afraid to show anything on it.

In other news I'll be joining the PS4 club earlier then I expected! Bought a Cowboom console for $190 without the controller so $250 after I buy one.

Also didn't come with a USB Cable but I assume I can use the ones from a Phone/Tablet right?

I know that... But again it is completely different seeing as it was a downgraded game they were releasing and not wanting to show how badly downgraded it was. It is also widely known that part of not showing Titanfall was to get more people to buy next gen versions and consoles.

This again does not matter, even if we get the exact same game as the PS3 version, it was a masterpiece that is just being ported over and will run better. I could care less what it looks like because the PS3 version was so great. This is like getting Assassins Creed IV for PS4 after playing the PS3 version, won't be a big change but it is a way to play on next gen. There really isn't reason to show it because the PS3 version speaks for itself.

 
Don't get met wrong I'm sure it'll look fine but Polygon was only a written section with them showing the Cinematic trailer, and the PS Blog only showed a few images off.

I'll be buying it either way since I didn't have a PS3 so I never got to play it and my brother has raved about it and really enjoyed the multiplayer.

Also since the PS Blog didn't mention it I'll leave a link below but it's being reported that the game will include a Photo mode similar to Infamous SS.

Has anyone bought one of the extended warranties from the PSN store? I'm guessing since it shows up on the console it can be bought with money in your PSN wallet. Do you need to upload or mail a PS4 receipt?

I purchased the one on vita a couple years ago and purchased one on my ps4 at launch. You don't have to upload or mail anything in. Just purchase it on the psn store from the system. Yes you can use money from your psn wallet. Haven't used the warranty though. I did get an email with information if I had an issue though. It's all tied to your psn account. I believe you have to purchase it within 30 days or something.

I didn't see anyone address this, but to answer your question, yes it's just a standard micro-usb cable. And welcome to the club, I look forward to hearing your impressions of the system.

It's a completely digital purchase. No recipt needed.
 
Ordered Infamous and I must say I wish I bought this over Watch Dogs awhile ago. I am really loving the game.

Easily the best thing on PS4 at the moment.

 
PS4 Top selling system in June.

PS4 was #1 for Next Generation software sales with PS4 leading with two of the top 3 games.

Playstation (PS4 and PS3) was the top selling hardware of the month.

Watch Dogs sold best on the PS4 and even the Xbox 360 version outsold the Xbox One version.

Overall I imagine Sony is very happy right now. They're going to hurt Microsoft even more in August/September.

 
Sony is gonna dominate the rest of the year, especially with Destiny. They got the white bundle coming out and marketing rights. Its a great time to be a Sony gamer. :D

 
This has to be one of the worst days for Microsoft. Laid off the highest amount of employees in company history, closed down Xbox Entertainment Studios, and now this...

To be fair most of the staff laid off was from their Nokia merger so it wasn't really their employees to begin with.

I think the bigger issue they faced was the growing controversy from last year followed by the $100 more expensive console that was weaker. That led to them suffering huge issues over the past year and throughout this year they've been busy trying to plug the leaks they caused while Sony has only had success and more success to follow it.
