..also I missed a book to read from like 4 months ago....I was planning on platting this game, but going through another whole playthrough would be rough. Well see, with new game+ it should be easier as well as skipping dialogue during that playthrough should shorten it up a bit.

You have to be NG+ to fight a certain boss at the end of the story to get the "One Who has Proven Their Power" trophy, and to fuse a persona required for two trophies. It is near impossible to read all of the books, and max all of the social links on your first playthrough.

Good news about NG+ is your money and weapon unlocks carry over, which allows you to buy and equip the best weapons and armor before the 1st dungeon, so you can just rush through the dungeons without grinding too much. I am currently doing NG+ and I am already halfway through august and have only played for an additional 15hrs (I'm not skipping dialogue either).

I am just thankful they made maxing all the social links easier than the PS2 version, which if you didn't do everything perfectly it was impossible to max out the links. They also nerfed the secret boss, man that boss was such a damn pain in the ass on PS2, I think I had to get a persona to level 100, just to not get wrecked.

It's...weird, and not in a way I particularly liked.

First two chapters were enjoyable, if overly vague about what the heck the game is actually about, but once it finally did open up and start to give you some answers it more or less jumps the shark and attempts to be something far larger and deeper than it has any chance of doing well. I mean that both from a narrative and gameplay stance, as the former tries to touch at various "mature" themes but more or less does nothing beside touch them and then drop them for something else, and the game just becomes way too big to navigate. Expect to use a guide if you want to get through it all; I eventually gave up after 6-7h of running around and constantly having to backtrack through the environment because of all the holes you can fall into and have no easy way of getting out to.

I was really enjoying it up until that point, so I was pretty disappointed with the direction it took. There are some cool ideas hidden in there somewhere, but I don't know that I could really recommend it with any conviction.

is this the new jay alt or who is this guy? old jay is the only guy i know who gets butthurt cuz i missed playing castlevania with him once. I was the one who didn't get the boned trophy so I dont know why he cares. I have never had problems playing games with people cept him. I remember he was butthurt alot when him and bumslie and myself were working on borderlands arena dlc trophies too. chill out bro, you deleted me off your friends list so don't fret so much. dirt off my shoulder. If you had as many people sending you messages/friend requests you would have notifications off too bro. chillax man

n yeah i really dug The Evil Within. I am a big Shinji Mikami fan, so it was a given. I would have preferred a goofier/hornier vibe like suda51 trip Shadows of the Damned, but this was a great 'serious' game. I binge played it too, so that's always better. I'm gonna try for the 10 rpg/under 5 hours/all upgrades run and try to find a few more collectibles. I'm only missing 7 statue keys, but those are damn hard to find.

i'd love pilgrim on the vita, but i'll take what i can get. i own it on that other system i'll probably never touch again. got scott, princesses, and sanctum. would have bought hyperdimension, but i'm waiting for the vita remake.

I was thinking the same about hyperdimension. The vita version will eventually hit a sweet low price. I've waited this long, I can keep waiting

 
Now I know why Evil Within drops to 24 fps alot, its because they were going for that cinematic feel! You know like a movie.

I'm sorry if I missed a message of yours. I'm not making excuses, but my excuse is that I don't have notifications on because they tend to ruin the immersion for me, especially from random cod players and during atmosphere centric games like the game I'm currently playing.

I hope we are all good bro, I wouldn't wanna make any enemies anywhere. Peace man

I have all notifications on PS4 turned off except for messages. Once you hit higher levels in Destiny, people just send you random invites and friend requests. I'm fine with playing with people and helping them out, but no one ever says what they want to do. I hate invites that don't have a goal. Like say "hey can you help me do the weekly?" And I may say sure, why not. But usually if I'm on, there's something I'm trying to do and don't want to just go do random patrol missions with some level 15.

I don't think ps3 has an option to choose even what notifications you get or not, but either way I have them all off.

Yeah same with CoD. Every few rounds I will get a friend request or a message asking if I wanna play with them. Most of the time I have a full clan red letters so its like, no im good. I turned it off cuz I think it even makes a sound? idk, I turned it off the week I got my ps3 years ago and never had it on ever. I'v never had any issues with anyone cept this guy, but I hope he accepts my apology and drops it. I hate drama and it's twice now since he started his cag account 5 days ago and his 2nd and last post were making it seem like this is something that actually happens. I'm pretty sure iv played with most of you guys in this forum and iv never had any issues and im a chill dude. but yeah. peace all and have a great weekend.

So the weirdest fucking thing ever happened in Tyler's stream.

He's talking about how some dude just bought his Dark Souls 2 and then goes "Oh hey Stotch he lives in Easthampton Mass. How far is that from you?" So I'm all oh it's about 20 minutes...I actually know a couple people from there. So Tyler tells me the dude who bought it Nicholas Allen...which is one of the people I know from there. How the hell weird is that?

Answer: It's so fucking weird.

The ONLY reason I even bothered to check Amazon right away was because I had that "Pending - Don't Sell" otherwise I just would have ignored it til later. And then the fact that Stotch was watching at that same time makes it even more weird.
