ing GameStop. I checked their website to see if the used DS Lego game for my nephew was in stock. It said yes. I had a $10 coupon which should have made it free since it was $9.99. I've heard you can do that. I go down to the store by my work and they only have a "new" gutted copy that they pull out for $20.

that.
A call came in so the employee asked me to wait a second. While he does that I pull up the game on Amazon. It's $13 new. He gets off the phone and I apologize then tell him to cancel the order and tell him why. He understands. As I go to check out on Amazon in the car I realize the 2 Day shipping would deliver it Friday. Unacceptable. I placed an order for CAH earlier which will be delivered on Tuesday, but it's too late now for this dumb game. I'd have to pay $5 to overnight it and it'd almost be the same price as in GS but actually new. I'm mad since I debated ordering it with CAH earlier but figured I'd rather get it free and immediately. I accept my defeat... Momentarily.
There's another GS about 10 mins away and by my house. I check the dumb lying GS site and it says they also have a used copy in stock. I vow to not get fooled again. I call the store. The guy puts me on hold for a minute to check the stock. He tells me they have it. I specifically ask him to hold it since I'm on my way and will be there in 10 mins. He says okay.
I show up at GS. A girl helps me. She doesn't find the game in the hold drawer after looking 3 times. She asks the 2 guys working. The guy from the phone says he couldn't find it. I get angry. What's the point of calling ahead if they don't bother to actually check the stock? I'm noticeably irritated after asking that to the guy. He just shrugs and walks away.
I think the manager overheard while helping another customer and asked the girl to check the website for stock. He says they'll overnight it for free if they have it. When I checked the website it said not available. Unsurprisingly, they see the same thing when they check.
The manager jumps in now and says he'll check for stock in other stores to see if they'll hold it for me. Another store across town has it in stock. No way I'm driving way the

over there. He offers to pick it up and bring it back to the store tomorrow. I gratefully agree. Then he realizes he works at another location tomorrow and won't be back at that one until Christmas Eve.

.
He tries calling the other store and gets no help from them either. He says he'll have them hold it and find a way to get it back to that store tomorrow. I'm not very hopeful. He's about to let me walk away when I ask if they'll call me when they get it. He then writes down my number. I ask if he needs my name and then he writes it incorrectly. I shake my head and walk out. I have no faith that the game will be here tomorrow.
1. I knew I should have ordered this dumb game before but all signs pointed to an easy in store pickup so I procrastinated.
2. I know what it's like to work in customer service. Angry customers suck. I was nice until the dumb guy just walked off. I was irritated but didn't yell. Everyone tried to help but that dumb guy who made a mistake.
3. I needed to return a movie to RedBox so I ran into the grocery store in the same complex. They must have removed the RedBox kiosk within the past few months. Anger level rising. I drop it off elsewhere.
4. Drive home angry because I wasted an hour on all this dumb shit.
5. Arrive home angry and with a head ache. Write a novel on CAG about the experience.
6. Annoy people in PS Not with novel.
7. I just don't give a
