Yeah me too. I owned both a PS3 and XBox360. Had the PS3 about a year longer. Played the XBox360 more over the years then the PS3. I do think when it is cheap enough I might grab one but I am in no rush and $350 - $70 GC isn't cheap enough for me.

I am playing that now. About half way through I think. If my local BB had Unit13 I would grab it for $4 (with GCU) even though I have it through PS+. But none of the stores around here have it.

It's pretty good. Combat is kind of dull in the first half, but opens up a little bit in the 2nd half as you start to unlock more upgrades. Still, the combat is still basically mash Box as fast as you can. Wish it was a lot deeper, a la Guacamelee.

Exploration is fun but the setting does kind of get old. There are 10 different areas in the game but most of them look very similar. Wish they would have made that a bit more varied.

Lots of boss battles which is sweet. Even on hard, the game is not really difficult at all. I just finished my speedrun on medium in 2:34:xx and got the platinum. Definitely worth a playthrough (or 2 if you want the platinum). 8/10.

Shipping should be free for it if you don't mind waiting until after the new year to get it. No stores around me had Little Deviants so I just shipped it free since I'm in no rush to play it.

Damn, I was taking a nap and missed out on Resistance Vita on Amazon. None of the BestBuy stores around me have store pick up either. Oh well. Pass on Little Deviants.

I downloaded the Halo 5 beta yesterday and decided to try it right now. Dumb thing can't even find a match.

Stupid local sportscasters.  Give away the result of the local bowl games before they highlights.  Why?  Where is the logic in that.  "The Utes have won the 7th of their last 8 bowl games over CSU.  Let's go to the highlights."

Man, the grappling targeting in Shattered Dimension is so shitty. Unless there is only one thing to grab right next to you expect it to completely fuck up. On one boss you have to walk up to flood lights and press the grab button to turn them on in a boss's face, but you have to be at a very specific point next to the spotlight in order for it to appear. So he jumps in position and I find myself frantically circling  around it trying to find the small point that will activate the reticule over it so that I can turn it on.

In another section a boss shoots eggs which eventually explode when they hatch and scorpion minions pop out. You have to target, grab, and then throw the egg back at the boss before it explodes, but if there are any scorpion minions within 5 feet of you even if the reticule is over the egg you will zip kick over and attack the minion instead. Which causes you to miss your window to throw the eggs back and then you have to melee fight him for another 2 minutes until you have another shot to damage him with the eggs. Earlier in the stage you also have to chuck the eggs at objects (like industrial fans) so that you can break them and get the collectables behind the fan, but again, even if you are aiming right at the fan, if a scorpion minion is nearby it will chuck the egg at it instead.

 
DId anyone else in this thread get in on the Wolfenstein $14.99 deal from Amazon?  My copy arrived today...disc is loose in the case.  Ugh.  Considering just doing a return...I already left some pretty bad packaging feedback on Amazon.

Yeah I just cut the stream since it was being dumb. Also stopped playing Halo 5 because it's only 2 maps of Slayer and I had my fill already.

Unit13 isn't available for shipping. If it was I would have ordered it. No big deal.

I've seen that at a few Targets. PM that sucker. It's a quick plat but quite a decent run. Absolutely worth the $5 since you can eBay it for $10 easily afterwards.

I'm copycatting Vig on this one. I rented Demon Gaze to finish it off (I'd already played most of it via Gamefly) and am renting Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus. I'll finish that one up in the next few days to get it returned before the 15th.

I've got such a backlog that renting isn't something that really appeals to me much, but I can definitely justify a game or two over the winter period for titles I'm not all that interested in anyway (like NG.)

 
I opened up Wolfenstein and luckily it doesnt appear to be damaged, hopefully it plays okay.  Looking forward to a second playthrough of it after beating and trading it at launch.

I'd say that happens with at least a third of the new games I buy. I've never had one of the disks take any damage though.
 
I grabbed some $4.99 vita games on Amazon even though I don't need em. Damn prime! By the way Unit 13 at $4.99 is a fuck ing killer deal that game is awesome.

My local Target has them in-stock, so I know what I'm doing later today. :D/

Even better, I locked in a trade-in on Amazon for $10.79, so I'll effectively be paid ~$5 to plat it.

Too bad the Vita bundles aren't rare anymore (last Cartwheel for this I made a nice profit buying and selling a few copies)
