Why 11am EST? IIRC, the announcement has usually been closer to noon...which would be a nice diversionary tactic to allow other people to get tickets for the E3 Experience.

 
That was bizarre that the loading screens were all just black at launch though as every previous Souls game had something to look at, either character concept art or item descriptions while waiting for for the game to load after fast travel or death.

Can't decide if I want to try to go the E3 show or not.  Theater about 20 miles from my house has it, but I don't really have anyone to go with.  And all the PS4 stuff.  But I like dum swag.

I actually preferred the launch Bloodborne loading screens to the new item descriptions.

But wedding ring is coming with because it's impossible to take off without a good set of whatever they use to cut rings off of people.

Yeah the game sold really well so I'm not surprised they finally went with a physical release this time.

The original game's ui was terribly cluttered. Was a fun game but one of the grindiest games on the vita.

 
How do you know if you have allergies? I've never understood this. Is it just all the symptoms of a cold? Is there a difference? I want to claw my everything out today.

Also, I've gotten in the terrible habit of having a cigarette in the mid morning hours to pass the time at this terrible job and every day this old black man comes out and stares at me with this mean look for a few seconds and then walks like 10 feet away and just stands there. Why? Who is this guy?

It got stuck when I broke my ring finger years and years ago and forgot to take the ring off before it swelled up. Then it healed weird and it's impossible to take off with conventional means.

And I can vouch for what pharm is saying as some ladies are in a similar situation....

 
I think I'm done with Race the Sun. I have only two trophies left, arguably the hardest ones to get (5 million points in a run, Survive 4 waves in Apocalypse) but the game is really starting to tick me off at this point.

 
Someone sneezes and they say they have allergies.  We all sneeze from time to time cause dust tickles.  A sneeze or two doesnt mean your allergic to something in the air!  So please stop it.

Allergies for me have always been being completely congested and shit, but actually feeling fine. Like, if I could rip my face off then I'd feel wonderful. Cold on the other hand I actually feel run down and stuff.

It's funny to me how bad smokers are treated in society. With all movements to be more inclusive of all people, smokers continue to get ostracized. South Park did a great job commenting on it.

 
Smokers should be ostracized.    Smoking doesnt just affect the smoker.   I smell that shit on someone in the elevator and I want to vomit.  And I happen to see the same 10 people outside in the smoking area at all times of the day every day I go to one of the other buildings.  They do the least amount of work cause they are always smoking.  And their smoke breaks arent quick.  I can go to the other building for 30 minutes and come back and the same 10 people are still out there.

Not really the smoker's fault on the work thing. Employers need to reign that shit in. Whenever I hire someone, I specifically go over the department's smoking policy, which is basically you're entitled to two 15 minute breaks and an hour lunch. You don't get "smoke breaks" and you can't split your breaks into six 5 minute breaks.

Heavy smokers clothes do stink though. Especially if they smoke in their own house because that shit permeates everything.

I am allergic to cigarette smoke and I wouldn't go this far. The smell is annoying, but that can be dealt with. We all goof off in different ways at work, but I am not ready to say that smokers good off more because of smoking breaks.

I just don't want to have to walk through a cloud anywhere near my car or building. Get far away from any path that people take and smoke all you want.

Thanks, that's helpful. I feel perfectly fine except for the rain shower of snot gently flowing from my nose, the building shaking sneezes and hacking cough. I still took the stairs instead of the elevator though so I must be doing OK.

I have zero disagreement that in this day it is completely stupid to start smoking and equally stupid to not quit. I also totally get how annoying it is to non-smokers and I think for the most part smokers try to be somewhat courteous (at least in my experience - I'm surprisingly sensitive to it).

That said, it has been extremely well demonized and in that sense the anti-smoking campaign has been a resounding success. So much so that the people are judged by others for their bad habit. But unlike a 90 year old dropping some racially insensitive shit out of their mouth where everyone says "he's just old, he can't change", smokers are rarely forgiven or given a pass.

I don't mind, it's my choice and I'll take my lumps. But if that old guy wants to give me a nasty look because he's walking through the smoking area under the building and he doesn't like it he can take a leap.

Depending if any of those vita games are PSTV compatible then absolutely nothing for me as they are only giving us the PS4 version of Ground Zero and I already own the other 2 PS3 games.

Eh, 3 new games for me, just like it is every month. I don't own Ground Zeroes so I'll take it. Also don't own the two new games obviously (Skulls and Super Exploding Zoo). Beat Gunslinger on 360, but don't have it on PS3.

Own and beat Futuridium and Cloudberry Kingdom already. I like both of them.

Yeah we all goof off at work, but the smokers are goofing off then going to smoke. Its a real drag (HA!) on production.

But yeah I was being extreme cause thats what we do here.

 
Six new games for me, and I won't be playing any of them.  Decent month in terms of overall selection, but for my tastes it is a steaming pile of garbage this month.

At least the backlog won't be getting any bigger.

 
Just finished up the campaign for sound shapes. Fun little game, glad you guys recommended it. I wouldn't have looked twice otherwise. I'll probably work on the death mode stuff next, what little I played of beat mode would probably drive me insane if I tried it without a guide. 

 
Gunslinger is awesome and the only game I played.  Probably the only one I really want to play but I might go with Futuridium just to fuck with Tylers (and Zimms!) rares!

 
My 11am meeting just got cancelled, which is a sure sign I should spend the time to get E3 Experience tix now.  Bring on the swag and free PS4s!!!!!

But yeah I have a 0.96% rare on Futuridium which will almost certainly get even more rare. The game is actually awesome but I know nobody is going to play/finish it because every gamer in the world is fucking awful.
