No one's posted that list in here.

#doyouevenread
Well, linked to in here, anyway. "Posted" was vague enough that linking might not have been considered, I suppose:

The link provided has a description for each game, plus gameplay videos for a handful of them. I only recognized half the list, so it was helpful:

if any of you are trading in eso this week, you should let me add your body to my guild(s). the game requires 10 people to let you use a guild bank, and even crazier amounts to open a shop. you can always leave the guild if you ever play the game again.

PSNP updating is disabled due to maintenance again. I checked their forum and couldn't find anything--anybody know why they've been having so many issues and doing so much maintenance lately?

Yeah, my grandma used to buy from them. I've seriously never seen them regularly at any non-old people's houses.
I always figured they saw more business in rural areas with fewer grocery choices. I don't think I've seen one in Nashville, but when I lived out in the middle of nowhere in Iowa I'd see people get deliveries from them.

I really hope there's some good sales tomorrow. Pulling the trigger on The Taken King seems foolish considering how September begins games wise and how it ramps up until November.

(Need to spend $40 to get the $15 back)*

I was tempted to jump in on the $90 for $100 PSN credit to take advantage of the $15 back, but on a week like this where there's nothing I want on sale it's hard to justify. $90 for 115 PSN is really only a savings of 22%. Waiting for better sales is going to be a more effective use of my money.

Madness Returns was pretty good. Definitely had its flaws but I enjoyed the game. Was a bit bloated though.

And the original is dogshit now.
That's also what I went back and forth about. Madness Returns has the surreal, dream-like quality and is more polished but the original felt more like you were in a nightmare. You also had a bigger toolbox of weapons to use (though it had its share of duds too) and it was a more succinct experience. Some of the platforming and mini-games did start to drag down my enjoyment of Madness Returns by the end. The jumping mechanic did suck pretty badly in the first game though.

Today's my Saturday. Enjoy your rat race bitches
I LOATHE Monday. I spend all damn day writing progress reports for last weeks work. Add to that getting constantly interrupted by people asking about what the plan is for this week, and my Monday is toast. The guy I replaced suggested writing reports at home over the weekend; screw that.

On a gaming note, should I jump straight into Arkham Knight having never played the other Arkham games, or should I start with Ayslum and work my way forward? I'm going to use posting in this thread as motivation to getting back to other games besides Destiny.

Finally, topic of discussion with my wife over the weekend; tipping on take-out orders. I questioned why she tipped $2 on a $7 take-out order. She said she didn't, she gave her card to the person at work who went to pickup the orders (that's another topic for a later date), but that she didn't have a problem with the tip. I disagreed; no service rendered other than making the food.

PS: This post brought to you from the crapper.

If you don't mind going back and playing games on the PS3, then I would start with the older Batman games because they are great games.

There are only a couple of occasions where I have tipped on what could be considered take-out.  Those were when I was in other states where bars/breweries sold growlers to go that the bar tender would fill for you.  In those instances I felt they were actually doing a service for me while not being allowed to serve the other patrons so I added a buck to the bill.

Occasionally I will tip on take-out if it is a small, local restaurant or if it is a special order with lots of additions or subtractions, but not generally.

Tried out Duvel this weekend. Didn't like it too much at first because of the carbonation, but by about mid-glass I had gotten used to it. Not a favorite, but I like it well enough. Kinda reminded me of what'd happen if you mixed champagne and beer.

Managed to get out sunday and trade in New Super Mario Bros 2, Diablo 3, and Naruto Ult Ninja for $66 which was cool until I realized I'd have to find a way to spend that at gamestop. Never really buy new games there unless its exclusive or for preorder bonuses that don't exist elsewhere. GCU has me spoiled. Ended up grabbing a couple of those Wii U gamecube controller things that plug into the wiimote (Samus and Link versions) and a guide for Majora's Mask. The controllers are pretty awesome, debating on trying to pick up the zero suit samus one when it comes out.

Pics are spoiler'd because huge.

Also picked up one of those jawbone up fitness tracker things, I like it so far. Anyone else have one?  The sleep tracker function is pretty cool, but I wish these things were more accurate for cycling and stuff. As long as the weather holds out tonight, I'll probably bike down to the bar to see how well it holds up for that, but I'm not expecting much. All the reviews I read on trackers in general seems like none of them (at least the cheaper ones) are really capable of handling that yet.

I don't really tip on takeout very often either. Usually its when I shop there often and know/am friendly with the staff. Then its more of a "hey thanks for consistently not sucking heres an extra dollar." Kinda like throwing it in a tip jar except just on my card.

At least play arkham asylum first. It's pretty short and very, very good. It lays the groundwork for the whole arkham concept and the rocksteady/batman style action detective game. arkham city is also good and expands the environment considerably, but I still prefer the first. I suspect arkham knight will be more akin to city than asylum but super good looking.

$16 seems a bit...high. Hopefully there's a Plus discount.
The PSP version of FFIII is listed at $20, as is Dissidia and IV Complete. Granted the PS1 games are all $10 (including FFVII PS1), but it doesn't surprise me that the PC port of VII would be sold at a higher price. I expected them to put the PC port at $20.

I'm picking up mine tonight at BB. Apparently the "midnight release" is EST, so I can get it at 9p.

West Coast is the best coast.

Funny how tipping a buck on a drink at a bar is pretty well accepted. All for 10 seconds or so (if you include taking the money and making change). But no tip for take out. Some Dunkin Donuts around here anyway have a tip cup at the register and people frequently put the spare change in there or even a dollar bill.

I don't tip for take out as a rule either. I am sure I have in some circumstance once or twice but normally I don't even consider it. Back when I spent a lot of time at the bars I would tip a buck per drink. Most bartenders would hook me up with a free drink every 3rd or 4th one. At the DD near my first apartment they were really nice people. Had various specials and would frequently hook me up with some free stuff etc. I would always leave the spare change at least. Once I walked in to pick up breakfast on my way to work and realized I forgot my wallet so I left and went to work. A day or two later the girl asked me where I went the other day she started making my order even though the line was like 10 deep. I told her I had forgot my wallet so I left. I had never ordered or anything. She said she would have just given me the order anyway. Places like that I don't mind leaving some spare change or a buck.

But the DD near me isn't that great and NEVER gives anything away. I will occasionally leave the change though as I don't feel like carrying it. Lately they seem to have a slightly better crew.

Not sure if you care about spoilers, but the ending of City will apparently be spoiled by Knight (even the damn promo stuff gives the ending of City away).

Take it for what it's worth.

My local machines usually all have crap or no games in them, but redbox has a general use (can use it many times per card) promo code for today to get a game free for a day per transaction, "JUNE22." You can probably use it to get movies for free instead as the promo codes generally just take a certain dollar value off the whole order.

But she didn't say anything about it being too hoppy like you did. So I still stand by it as the best suggestion. The carbonation is over the top for sure, so I can understand that complaint. A couple of the ones you mentioned are going to have the same crazy carbonation thing going on.

She clearly wanted the D.

I am rarely jealous of things but I am very jealous that you guys get everything "early". I mean you can wake up at 9am Saturdays and watch college ball and 10am Sundays and watch the NFL. fuck you guys.

Then to top it off most of these price errors or glitches happen at 3am ET when websites update so me and most of the east coast is asleep and all you fuck ers in Cali get to partake since its only midnight. fuck ers.

Definitely didn't think it was too hoppy. The carbonation was the weird part for me. Tbh, I've never been huge on champagne so it was kind of a weird experience at first having bubbly alcohol. Add to it that I haven't really had any carbonated drinks this year made for an interesting taste.

It may just be that I didnt like the flavor. But its definitely more bubbly than the others I have had. Its like soda water.
