Definitely didn't think it was too hoppy. The carbonation was the weird part for me. Tbh, I've never been huge on champagne so it was kind of a weird experience at first having bubbly alcohol. Add to it that I haven't really had any carbonated drinks this year made for an interesting taste.
Champagne is gross. Except when mixed with OJ. Mimosas are awesome cause its socially acceptable to be drunk at 10am.

I am rarely jealous of things but I am very jealous that you guys get everything "early". I mean you can wake up at 9am Saturdays and watch college ball and 10am Sundays and watch the NFL. fuck you guys.

Then to top it off most of these price errors or glitches happen at 3am ET when websites update so me and most of the east coast is asleep and all you fuck ers in Cali get to partake since its only midnight. fuck ers.
On the other hand, there's the occasional in-store price glitch that East Coasters can get in on for the first few hours after opening but West Coasters can't when their stores open because the glitch is fixed by then.

Yeah but that isnt as cool cause you have to actually shower and go out first thing on the weekend. And deal with dumbass people/employees. Or if its is during the week I gotta go to work.

Just imagine when I lived in Hawai'i a couple months ago for several years. College football at 6am, NFL at 7am, UFC prelims start at noon.

Most surreal thing ever being in a packed bar at 7am ordering a round of beers.

I LOATHE Monday. I spend all damn day writing progress reports for last weeks work. Add to that getting constantly interrupted by people asking about what the plan is for this week, and my Monday is toast. The guy I replaced suggested writing reports at home over the weekend; screw that.

On a gaming note, should I jump straight into Arkham Knight having never played the other Arkham games, or should I start with Ayslum and work my way forward? I'm going to use posting in this thread as motivation to getting back to other games besides Destiny.

Finally, topic of discussion with my wife over the weekend; tipping on take-out orders. I questioned why she tipped $2 on a $7 take-out order. She said she didn't, she gave her card to the person at work who went to pickup the orders (that's another topic for a later date), but that she didn't have a problem with the tip. I disagreed; no service rendered other than making the food.

PS: This post brought to you from the crapper.
I very rarely tip on take-out/carryout. Feels weird zero-ing out the tip line, but yeah no real service besides making the food, which is what I'm paying for.

Like Jimbo, I will start tipping at places I go regularly or that are nice if we have lots of questions or requests.

The MLS everyone!

That's the Salt Lake team too! Woohoo

They won though with a goal in the 93rd minute so it's all good.

If I'm taking cash, I hate writing 0 on the check. I've begun writing "C.R.E.A.M."

It makes a point and I crack myself up every time.

Tyler, you can cancel your trip to Orem. The Orem Owlz have canceled Caucasian Heritage Night.
Yeah that news story has been floating around for about a week here. It's pretty funny. Pretty big dumbasses to think doing something like that was a good idea.

Also, I would not ever voluntarily travel to Orem.

Speaking of morning drinking.

My wife bought me this really nice bourbon decanter for fathers day. Has my last initial on the front and first fathers day with kids bday on the back.

I tell you this to tell you that of course I had to fill it right away, had a bottle of Knob Creek Single Barrel lying around that was full. Filled it with that.

So yes of course I had to use the decanter and poured a few fingers in a glass.

This was around 930am.

82 in my office today already, 9:30am.

I am starting to enjoy the "I'm too hot, I'm going home to work" mentality though.

So does the PS4 handle the change in PS+ expiration date better or do you have to manually refresh the new date on each individual game by starting and stopping the download like on the PS3?

In Portland lots of places have iPads/tablets that you use to pay, and those always have a tip selection screen. (10, 15, 20% ?)

Yeah, I'm going to give you a tip on this $4 artisinal, all natural ice cream cone.

Then again, you're expected to tip because you're supporting the "creative class" or the guy who can't find a job to use his Masters of Comparative Education Studies degree.

lol a guy from Tampa talking shit about anywhere else in the US
Yeah so we have beaches, loads of hot women (not that I get any of that but still), attractions/amusement parks and weather that allows you to do whatever you want most of the year. We have all our own sports teams so we dont have to pick and chose garbage teams from half way across the US that you have no real affiliation with. Oh and we have air conditioning that works. And no snow to boot.

People from all over want to move here every year and its cheap which is why we have some crazy shit go on here. But thats also just added entertainment.

The only thing any one knows about Utah are Mormons and a big lake you cant even use for recreational activities. WOOHOOO FUN TIMES!!! Bitch.

IDK. I was down in Sarasota in April and again in May. I will say there were some hotties down there for sure. But it was way to hot already. Not sure I could live in Florida year round. My parents have a place in FT Myers. Pretty nice in Jan or Feb. Brutal in July and August.

Yeah thats why I said most of the year. Its hotter than a bitches titty right now and for 3-4 months but then its great the rest of the year. And we dont get snow. No matter where you go there are weather issues at some point. There are a few exceptions but those places are so damn expensive to live it might not be worth it depending on what your looking for.

But for someone in Utah to act like Tampa is some shit hole place to live? Thats crazy talk.

I think I'm doing something wrong...I'm thoroughly enjoying Infamous Second Son.

I just got to the part
where I got Neon powers from Fetch, and we hijacked some of those energy things for more powers, and beat up a bunch of drug dealers. I like that Neon basically turns you into the Flash. I don't usually do side crap in games but I like the setup of 100%ing each of the smaller areas to the larger whole. I even like shooting those dumb drones to get at the shards.

Unless it takes a shit bath soon...I dig it. Game is purty too. Overall fun for me.

Unless they have changed it in an update in the last year and a half, a PS+ PS3 game is imprinted with the date your current PS+ is set to expire when you download it. If you add extra years to your PS+ after the fact, that license is not automatically refreshed on anything you have downloaded. To give it the new expiration date you have to start the download of that particular game, which will authenticate the new expiration date, and then you can stop the download, in order to play it again.

I'll take the brutal summers to not have to deal with brutal winters every single time. That is the problem with Atlanta. You occasionally get a nasty winter to go along with the brutal summers. I'll still take that over NY or Utah.

I've never heard that you have to download it again, just boot it up again and it will be updated with the new date. And I thought that was only if you let your PS+ lapse in between. My games always update correctly when I add years of PS+.

I don't recall having to do any of that when I renewed my Plus last year, or when they gave us the free extra 7 days because of the Xmas outage. But maybe I did and I wasn't paying attention, but I don't think so.

Yup, those powers are the best part of the game and the main reason First Light is so fun.

Are you guys really expected to tip at most of those places? Thats kind of crazy. Around here its usually just understood that the software makes that pop up, but you don't actually have to tip.

Yeah last winter here in NY was horrible. Worst in many years. And the first time I had to shovel my own snow in many years. Even with a smallish driveway and a small snow blower it was HORRIBLE. Still I deal better with the cold then I do with the heat. Mowing the lawn in 90 degree weather is worse to me then running the snow blower in 20 degree weather. I would end up in jail (or seriously injured) if I mowed the lawn naked. I can always put on another jacket in the winter.

Speaking of Atlanta. I connected through there on my trips to and from Florida. You guys get a crazy amount of thunder and lightening. Almost didn't make my last flight home.

You're not very far in. Getting 100% in each area gets a lot more monotonous as you go along since there's no variation at all.

Also,
Fetch is the most interesting of the side characters and after the period you're in now she disappears pretty much until the end of the game.
