Um. Isn't that a beta? As in a test demo that doesn't have the full resources of the main game and in no way represents the final product? Are they really attempting to make something out of this?
I dunno. Destiny Beta looked pretty close to the finished product. Alpha had noticable improvement but less so for the Beta.

Holy shit people I cant keep answering the same question every other month.  Stop asking the same question!  My answer wont change!  Yeah my answers are getting shorter, cause I told you and 10 other people already!  fuck off!

Fun times.

They seriously keep asking for your wife's number?
It's probably going up pretty fast now that they're getting divorced.

Valkryie Profile's $50 on PS One but out of stock. I rarely see it on my Amazon wish list for under $80.
VP is awesome. I still start that up every once in awhile and do some runs in that final dungeon. Iv become so op but it is so awesome. I love all the 'evil' characters you can get. I always run with that magic dude that was in love with her so he killed himself. spoiler. and that big guy's sword is great. Arngrim or something. awesome awesome game. the sequel silmeria sucked. oh and that one lovey dude that sucks at the beginning but he eventually gets an awesome lightning attack that is pretty weak but hits like so many times and knocks them down. i have no idea

iv got a perfect copy of vp, suikoden 1 n 2, wild arms, earthbound, secret of mana, secret of evermore, ff6, ff7, chrono trigger, xenogears, etc. i was a huge squaresoft/rpg dork. (i know some of those arent squaresoft)

According to someone in the Gamestop TIV thread, if you buy something in-store, a coupon prints on the receipt for 50% bonus trade-in credit, good from 7/13 to 7/19. Also, Arkham Knight will have a guaranteed TIV of $40 through 7/22.

That gives all y'alls a month to beat/plat it.

i remember that white super fmv magic attack would always give me slowdown on ps tho. that kinda sucked. the feathery move. i think maybe sim n vig are the only ones that know what im talking about. i dont even know

Lezard was the wizard dude with all the op magic and freya was cool too but her energy attacks never really combo'd well.

celestial star. ugh! my system would always slowdown or freeze at 3:31. i had to cross my fingers and hope he didn't do that magic.

You Brewers fans probably remember Darryl Hamilton. Apparently, he was the victim in a murder-suicide with his girlfriend. They had a 1 year old in the house with them when she did it.

Another engineer sent me this video and I found it pretty interesting. It takes a few minutes to get through to the concept so those with ADD might not want to bother.

I guess it could be used as ammo by people like Tyler who can only play games with a certain style of camera control. Of course, that should be much easier to adapt to than what this was.
The other big problem is it's not just going against the grain on riding a bike but so many other things, it's turning a steering wheel to turn left, its moving a sliding door to the left by pushing left, the intuitive instinct of moving one direction causing you to go in that direction, not the opposite direction.

I had that experience once with Star Fox. I had learned how to play Star Fox with inverted controls. I was in a KMART at a SNES display and someone was having trouble with the last level and I offered to help him with it. Unfortunately he did not have inverted controls on and there was no way to change it from the menu so I was crashing like crazy.

Aw yeah, Valkyrie Profile was my jam. The music was so great and I loved the battle system. I probably saw that attack, but it's been too long for me to remember it clearly.

The hook I remember from reading about ZombiU is that each time you die you come back as a different, new person. If you want your gear back you have to track down and kill the previous, now-zombified, "you" so that you can loot their (your) backpack to get the gear back.

A few other things to note regarding the 50% bonus coupon:

-It apparently prints out when you buy any used game, so a cheap sports game should trigger it.

-The coupon will work for games and accessories.

-The coupon limits the bonus to one game/accessory, so you'll need multiple coupons if you plan on trading in several things at 50% extra.

I have a perfect copy of Brave Fencer Musashi which is SquareSoft. Pretty good for a digital guy!

Finished Orange is the New Black last night. I liked the third season. Let's hope the 4th season doesn't start to go downhill just like WEEDS.

The Wii U is weird. I haven't had it for long so I haven't used it much. Finally got some external storage (64GB sandisk cruzer works nicely) and grabbed a few games. Why can't you go through the menus when they are up on the big screen (TV)? I don't need to see Mii-opolis or whatever the hell that shit is. I just want to cycle through my crap and pick a game.

I guess it's cool you can play on the Gamepad and all but I think at $250 or less out of the gate and a pro controller they would have had something. I actually questioned why it can't just be more like the PS4...lol.

I'm not really bashing, just seems strange from a company that always wants things to be "easy." They screwed that one up pretty good!

I think I'll start Batman tomorrow.

Arkham Asylum, that's the one everybody is talking about, right?
You'll likely have just as much fun..... great game. I also think it's the best in the series so far... haven't played Origins yet but who cares about that game?

On a gaming note, should I jump straight into Arkham Knight having never played the other Arkham games, or should I start with Ayslum and work my way forward?
See above.

While Origins felt different (i.e., not as tight/polished as in Rocksteady's games) in terms of the combat, it had the best plot in the Arkham series. It's unfortunate that WB Games tacked on grindy multiplayer or I would have gone for the plat.

Or you could work on the MP with fellow CAGs. I still need a few trophies.

I think I'm doing something wrong...I'm thoroughly enjoying Infamous Second Son.
Second Son is a good game, just a disappointment as far as Infamous games go.

Well, Infamous 1 more than Infamous 2 since in 2 you could use the user mission to collect them all. But yeah it's a quick, easy plat, it's just nowhere as satisfying as the first two games even though the mechanics of the movement and climbing and such are clearly improved. Honestly it feels like they spent so much time working on the game engine (to great effect) that they neglected the game content in the process. First Light was a lot better and I'm expecting the next full game to be great now that the engine is worked out.
Holy fuck.... did I.... did I just agree with everything therm said in this post?
