If they do come stateside I'll be vaguely annoyed. But at the same time, did nintendo really need even more of my money for faceplates too? Probably not. I thought I'd dislike the size on the N3DS XL but I'm really enjoying it so far. Sucks it doesn't have faceplates, but again, more game money and less money spent on random plastic covers.

Based on how Gator described the experience, it just didn't seem worthwhile to me.
The only part that sucked was getting 8 people together to get that trophy. The reason it was a pain was RPG didn't have a mic so it took longer. Well I plan to still boost MP so if you ever have a change your mind let me know.

KillZone. They all suck so the order doesn't matter.

Well the Vita game wasn't too bad.
2 wasn't bad. I actually felt like it did a better job that many other FPS games I've played in creating a warzone environment. IIRC the trophy list had some ridiculous MP requirements, though.

The Mercenary campaign really did feel last-second (because it was.) I liked the gameplay, but would have liked to have seen a campaign with some effort put into it. It's interesting that for a handheld they would take an approach where the entire game was aimed at multiplayer. Seems to cut out the people who game on the go, especially since it didn't ship with botzone nor was that feature added for free.

I've not played 1, 3, or SF yet, though I own 3 and SF.

fucking Dominos. I was ready at 1:00, where the fuck were you?
Had to use another browser to get the link to show up since Chrome was like huh what is something going on but by then, it was likely too late. The response I got was, thanks for your info, if you're one of the 20k, you'll receive an email. I'll take that as a nodominono

Eh, your pan pizza sucks anyway dominos. Keep it in the oven for another 5 minutes and let the bottom of the crust become crunchy.

Well I'll probably play Nier 2 without ever playing the original, unless it gets a PS4 port or something.

Also Devil May Cry, Assassin's Creed, and Red Dead Redemption all strike me as series where it can be beneficial to deviate from the original release order.
How do you figure on RDR? Are you making an assumption that a sequel is being made and that it will be better than the original? Or is this a reference to Undead?

Edit: Oh wow. I never even knew about Red Dead Revolver until I looked just now. Crazy.

Looks like Nier might be getting rarer, though it may be a temporary bump. Up to $40 used on Amazon for the PS3 version.  I think I'll go grab a copy from my Gamestop with that credit that I have nothing else to do with.

By the end of Shadow Fall I was really ready for it to be over. I totally cheesed the last level. I watched a youtube video so I knew exactly where to go. I just wanted to pop the trophy for beating the campaign and be done with it. I was actually interested in the MP but was soo annoyed with the campaign I just wanted to trade it. One of the levels near the end I was stuck and had no idea where to go. Actually I did but it didn't seem possible. You had to be in an exact spot to get it to work. Just cheap nonsense.

Since it was around the PS4 launch there wasn't many good options and in my opinion this wasn't one of them.

I did enjoy the single player on Mercenary though. Didn't mess around with the online though.

Most consider Red Dead Redemption at least a spiritual successor, if not sequel, to Red Dead Revolver.
Yeah after my post I found out about that. I remember the pre-e3 rumors that RDR2 was being announced and thought he was referring to it. Looking into it now I do recognize the cover, but I guess I just never made the connection between that and Red Dead Redemption. I wasn't really gaming during the original XBOX/PS2 days.

This is exactly what I did! I couldnt take it anymore and didnt want to replay that last level with the dudes you had to sneak by. I really liked 2 and 3. Never played the original.

Bums mentioned the bad part: the 8 player stuff. I had no issues doing the XP stuff with Matt (RIP) and simmias.

If there were enough who wanted to do the 8 player stuff again, I would help out again. I still have it on my PS3 in hopes I eventually go back and finish AC campaign challenges so I can move on to Origins single player.

DFB2 is basically more of the same as the 1st. It is buggy as shit though, so I wouldn't recommend it. Crashed on me a dozen times and slows down once in awhile. Luckily it autosaves pretty much everytime you change screens, so always hit continue instead of loading your last save. I beat the game and just have to wrap up some trophies ,so it's a pretty easy plat. Pharm I don't think you want to play it since you always complain about fallout 3 bugs. Fallout 3 only crashed on me once in many hours, so I have no issues with that game yet.

Red dead redemption is so good I don't care if anything else came before it. Other than that I basically always play series in order unless the older ones are for an older system I don't have.

Edit: skipping AC1 is an exception..heard it sucks and no trophies so I was fine with skipping it

I was getting the Win match on each map/character with Cro and Zimm and I didn't get the trophy. They each got it but I need to play it again with a team. I know the same thing happened to Matt when you guys played for that trophy. Need to get back to these trophies eventually.

I want to get that game eventually, and I'm always down for stupid mp grinding

I really want to 100% this Lego Batman 3, but I dont want to pay $15 for all of this DLC.

Of course, this 68% plat is starting to bug me.

Not buying any Vita games either unless they come with the PS4 game. Or free on plus.
Funny. Vita games are about all I buy nowadays outside of flash sales. Some PS3 games as well, but that's slowed down a lot with the move to PS4. So far my PS4 title purchase list still has Escape Goat 2 and nothing else on it.

If there's ever a team that needs help with the 8 player team trophy let me know as I'll help the same as Gator.

Vig the trophies aren't bad as long as you got a mic for communication. Just trial and error.

It has been on considerable sales a couple times now. I got it for $7.50 and it was around $8 another time. Unless you want to get rid of the disc, I would not pay $15 for it.

I might take you up on that offer...later. After I'm done with Arkham Knight and Witcher 3. :joystick:

Dota 2 or LoL?  you guys have me abandoning trophies and playing pc games now! Thermo and I played talisman for 3 hours last night with 2 randoms. omg

It's a Gamefly rental, so I'll probably just ditch it.

As to the other responses, I'm never one to worry about 100%s. It's just this one would take no effort at all and would be worth another 6 golds.

Dota.

Im all about the 100% though unlike simmias I have a handful of games that I can't finish because of servers. I dont usually pay full price for dlc though. I either wait for a sale or goty edition to come out. fucking COD games are the bothersome ones as those are expensive as shit and rarely go on sale.
