Those are good ideas. Also maybe be on the look out for a cheap (like $40) Lego Vita TV deal. It comes with a DS3 and he could play the game on his Vita if he wanted and hasn't already played it.

Also I'm trying to figure out why my psn profile page suddenly uses World Gone Sour as it's main image despite the fact that I haven't played it in over a year.

Gameplay starts at 39:30. It's a roguelike when combating normal enemies, but there's a boss with a trillion hitpoints and the game is designed to kill off the small set of characters available one by one. Wonder if it'll ever make it over here.

This is also on clearance, out of stock online but may be available in your local walmart store (the page says there aren't any at my store but last i was there they had like 4 or 5). PSTV + DS3 + 8GB card + Legomovie game + Sly Cooper Thieves of time for $70. If you don't have a vita it's a decent way to play the games you got from PS+ and it takes up hardly any room.

Yeah I can only get in 1vs1 games, and the trophies I am trying to grind (kill airmechs, kill airmechs while carrying units) is easier in 3vs3. We could just get on and boost killing each other and killing each other while holding units. i'm hoping it isn't limited to only 1 kill counting per round. If it counts multiple kills we could knock it out in 1-2 games. other than the 200 win matches trophy. just hit me up whenev

 
I finally posted pinball scores. Instead of buying a birthday present for a 3 year olds party this weekend like I told my wife I would. I think I made the right choice.
 
1 million copies of Rocket League sold on Steam, I believe for $20 a pop, right? I wonder if they are really wishing they'd not gone PS+. But maybe it's so popular even there in part because of all the players on PS4 and them streaming it.

so, i actually clicked the "learn more" tab for the amazon underground stuff. says they're paying devs per minute that we use the app, and they're completely unlocked. shouldn't be any dlc levels or ad free unlocks to buy. seems pretty cool, i don't know how many of those i'd actually play.

 
went through the list of apps. probably about 5-6 good titles for most of us in there. standouts that i recall are mines of mars, sorcery, r-type, and warhammer snotling fling(ok, it's not a standout).

I am not even sure why but I am tempted to run by my local walmart to see what it rings up at. I don't even use the one I have. Already have Lego Movie and i think even have Sly Cooper (PS+ no?) and don't really need a 4th DS3.

Good thing I forgot my wallet and I am too lazy to go back out after I get home typically. And I hate going to Walmart.

 
you know a game is a hit when my cod clanmates are talking about it. they have been playing rocket league and a few even missed it last month for free and paid $20. crazy people. i told them to get on the ps store tuesday and just auto dl from the web if they are gonna play it or not. they astound me with their wasteful spending (minecraft, teso, rocket league) at full price

I have to respect the people that post their own pics. The whole point of roasts is to dig at people's insecurities, not just make superficial and easy jokes. I certainly wouldn't want anyone to do that to me.

I guarantee you the devs regret going with PS Plus, but hopefully they aren't dwelling on it. I don't think the hype PS+ built was enough to justify all the lost sales.

Picking Plus games is like investing in the stock market for Sony. They probably locked up Rocket League early and then it skyrocketed in value.

 
I hate luck-based trophies--I've played 150+ waves (across multiple runs) in Shutshimi, only gotten the "hat" needed for the Tsundere Shark trophy twice, but haven't been able to hold on to it long enough to collide with a shark.

 
Got screwed on the Foam Dome trophy in Shutshimi. Completed 10 waves with it on but the 10th wave was the Kraken boss and it must not have counted or reset the counter or something because it didn't pop.

 
Yeah, I think I've gotten the lipstick once, but before I knew I had to run into a shark. Haven't seen them since. I don't think I've gotten the foam hat at all. Just managed to get the sunglasses at night one though.

Don't worry, you'll know when you get the Foam Dome. It makes every level Party Mode.

Unless you're that much different from me I would say just play through Ground Zeroes and then 5 while it's new and everyone else is experiencing it for the first time. A marathon session of so many MGS games might just wear you down before you even get to 5.

 
The PSTV would be great if it had any of the video app functionality of the other systems. Would make a good wannabe Roku. Without that it's pretty much a paper weight for me.

But if the Atelier games go back on sale I can see myself playing though them on a bigger screen so I can sit back and relax more while playing a longer RPG.

I would have probably finished Ys by now if it was PSTV compatible.

 
Who picked Martavis on the FF Leagues? He's been hit with a 4 game suspension, pending his appeal. Rough, kid was brilliant last year.
