Absolute worst time to have a staff meeting.  My kid would have probably been as happy about a blue controller as the PS3 he is going to get.  Oh well, what he doesn't know won't hurt him.

The guy in the games section looked it up on his tablet and said they were $54 even though I told him it was probably an online only price. I took it to the counter and that guy looked it up and said yeah they will price match it. Manager came over punched it through and said that's a hell of a deal.

Just a reminder that this starts tomorrow. I could never find 3 other things to pair (?) with an ultimate genesis collection unfortunately but there's seems to be some other good trades on there. If you picked up kz mercenary from target for $9 you could do worse than taking it to gamestop for $15 if you've gotten a chance to play it (or not).

Chromecasts are 29.74 or 24.48 currently on clearance at Target. Haven't seen anything show up less than that yet but 50% would be ~17.48 and 70% ~10.50. DPCI 008-06-0012

 
The movie The Walk about the high wire walker who walked between the twin towers is making people vomit in it's finale (from vertigo). I think I'll skip it on the big screen for that reason, though I'd like to see it. I'm not expecting it to be as good as the documentary Man on Wire, but I'd still like to see this different approach to the story.

I'd rather have tiered preorder bonuses than retail exclusive bonuses.

But either way I'm not likely to bitch and moan about it since most of it is usually stuff you won't use for more than 10 minutes.

That's what I've never understood because pre-order bonuses are rarely all that useful or interesting. I'm always surprised how big of a huff gamers get in about pre-order bonsues. I didn't understand the rage about the Deus Ex ones at all.

But what if you don't get the 4 song soundtrack on MP3? Where on Earth would you be able to find those essential items? I better not pick up that PDF artbook since that's so impossible to replace.

Or the tough choice between a pistol I won't use after the first mission or the rifle I won't use after the first mission.

Rock Band 4 pre-orders get 30 bonus tracks. That's quite a lot of extra songs. Not sure what they are, though. Maybe they are all tracks from Party Cannon.

It's the only positive of retailer exclusive bonuses.

I don't know what that preorder bonus for Arkham Knight from Best Buy did (I think it unlocked some skills early?) but I did enjoy the $5 I got for it.

Last good preorder bonus I can think of (other than Best Buy's $10 rewards) would be the Mechromancer from Borderlands 2. One of the few useful bonuses that wasn't just a code in the "Day One" edition.

Going through my monthly ritual of watching the things on my Amazon prime watchlist that are expiring at the end of the month. Watched Tucker and Dale vs. Evil and it was quite funny and enjoyable. I can't believe the studio shelved that movie for 3 years. It's supposedly on Netflix too.

 
I haven't had mail delivery in a week.  Our condo complex got new mailboxes on Thursday, and our property management company told the postmaster, who had our mail delivery temporarily stopped.  Apparently the postmaster told the mail carrier for our route to start delivery again on Saturday.  The mail carrier decided not to deliver.  Every day the postmaster has told us we should get mail the next day.  Now it's Thursday and no mail.

These motherfuckers have zero accountability.  How the fuck do you not pick up the phone and get the carrier to fix the fuckup?  This affects 150 owners.  I'm usually a big proponent of the U.S. Post Office, but fuck these assholes.  And yes, the only reason I'm really mad is because I should be playing the new Danganronpa right now that my post office is holding hostage instead of typing a rant on CAG.

So in summary: Government workers, you suck.

Brutal may be quite the rare trophy, a lot of reviewers have said that it is beyond hard, it is plain unfair. Said it takes 2 hits to die, and Uncharted vets know even behind cover you get shot... so good luck Vig on that one...

Yep, I had two packages show as delivered last Wednesday. One showed up Thursday, the other Sunday. Another one showed out for delivery on Friday and ended up back at the post office Saturday, they delivered it that afternoon. Go work at McDonalds, you incompetent boobs, and fuck up my hamburger instead!
