You don't lower the price on Black Friday and you especially don't do it on Christmas. Holiday shopping season is already in full swing so you do it as soon as possible especially with most retailers offering price guarantees until mid January. This is a great move for Sony.Wow they didn't even wait till black Friday or Christmas
Picked one up at target with the $50 giftcard, a giftcard i got for 10% off on raise, and my 10% off employee discount , , , after adding this fifty in I am coming out at 290 and a 50 dollar card!So - with the price coming down on Friday and with Target offering a $50GC on PS4s through saturday, seems we could get a PS4 at $350 + a $50 GC - which is a pretty sweet deal
Could get a PS4 today at $399 + $50 GC to lock the GC and then apply for a price match the day after when the hardware drops $50
If it was then you'd just be saying "should be $199".Should be $299
We'll need more information to make a proper diagnosis.Don't need but this still tempts me...what is wrong with me?
Because most of the games are rehashed? The question is, why does someone on this site not have a PS4 yet.
Amazon does not do price matching or adjusting, unless it's for a TV.so will we get the difference refunded if we bought one from amazon recently?
It's been out for 2 years, a $100 price drop is reasonable. If it was then you'd just be saying "should be $199".
Speaking for myself, and assuming you're seriously asking, it's mostly been the lack of exclusives. I have a PC, so I haven't felt the need for a PS4. (I actually borrowed a co-worker's to play Bloodborne). But with The Old Hunters coming out, and some new exclusives on the horizon--and also a new house where it's much more of a pain to hook my PC to my TV--it's time for a PS4. This price drop makes it that much easier to take the plunge. The question is, why does someone on this site not have a PS4 yet.
Had one sold it for $360 after playing through the handful of titles I was interested and after it had sat there collecting dust for a month. Then went and bought a $280 Xbox One. Plan to get another PS4 when it drops into the $250-$300 zone. The question is, why does someone on this site not have a PS4 yet.
As you asked, I have a 360 backlog which runs into the hundreds alone and I wanted to actually finish some of those games before I got a new console and that's ignoring the PS3, Wii, Wii U, DS and 3DS backlogs I also have. Also up to this point there wasn't really anything good enough that I thought required me getting one.The question is, why does someone on this site not have a PS4 yet.
Should be $299
$350 currently matches the 1:100 rate versus the price in japan 35,000 yen. Sony usually price matches at 1:100. The current exchange rate is around 1:120 which puts the price at $300.If it was then you'd just be saying "should be $199".
They are trying to move the new consoles more aggressively in the Asian markets.$350 currently matches the 1:100 rate versus the price in japan 35,000 yen. Sony usually price matches at 1:100. The current exchange rate is around 1:120 which puts the price at $300.
I literally bought the Military Appreciation Bundle at Gamestop less than 24 hours ago xDSon of a bitch, not even two weeks after I finally decide to dive in on the Destiny model.
Last-gen Backlog. The question is, why does someone on this site not have a PS4 yet.
If you literally just bought it then take the receipt tomorrow for an adjustment? I think they let you adjust the first week or rebuy on friday and return that console with yesterdays receipt.I literally bought the Military Appreciation Bundle at Gamestop less than 24 hours ago xD
I plan on calling corporate and seeing if they can hook me up with a gift card or something
And to think you could have saved $700+ if you'd gotten 2 PSTVs instead.Already have three PS4 in hand, so it doesn't make sense for me to get a 4th one![]()
Yeah, this is what I'm curious about.Do we know if this applies towards the Destiny Bundle?
Yeah that's probably the smarter way to go, I'll give it a go.If you literally just bought it then take the receipt tomorrow for an adjustment? I think they let you adjust the first week or rebuy on friday and return that console with yesterdays receipt.
Yes, the drop should be across the board.Yeah, this is what I'm curious about.
No but it makes since for you to sell me oneAlready have three PS4 in hand, so it doesn't make sense for me to get a 4th one![]()
Probably because it's a 1TB model and it's Call of Duty.Yes, the drop should be across the board.
I find it interesting that the blops bundle is only getting cut by $20 instead of $50
I chuckled.Nice! I was hoping the newer price would be of the lower variety.
Well it seems like this move was to combat the X1 price and HALO and Tomb Raider most likely. It is smart on Sony. They cannot really offer anything unique this Holiday so a price drop is about it. I do not think MS cuts the price but I won't be surprised if the bundles get even more games as extras. Will this move force xbone to drop fiddy too?
