It's DICE - there's bound to be issues.

Thankfully, I ain't hit any.

Must not be playing with friends lol.

You can "party" up but ti doesnt join matches together or anything of that matter. It doenst even have smart matching where it will auto balance you to your friends team when there is a spot like BF4

Tried the SW:BF beta.

First try: hanged before reaching menu. Solution: -novid -noborder -windowed and disable Origin in game

Second try: Selected game type, matched and game started. When displaying the objectives and the camera was reaching some destination on the map, the game freezes. I force-quit and there was the message "star wars battlefront beta stopped working" on the desktop.

I'm too old for this shit. I'll uninstall it. There are better ways to trash 11Gb on my HDD

Battlefront ran great, looked great, made the appropriate blaster noises.

Just personally don't care for the frantic multiplayer shooters anymore.  The jetpack was pretty cool though.  Think i'll go play some Space Marine.

I was able to party and join the same server. One person joins the server and the other party members need to click on that game and then accept. Not as intuitive but it still worked.

You know, I'm pretty sure I messaged you about Life is Feudal when that giveaway ran, but your internet went out immediately after I did it lol

Get that shit fixed
The way I recall is you messaged me about a "guarantee" to win and then posted it in the main thread and that guarantee turned into a chance to win which I did not receive. Die, Spoder, Die.

Finally got the game running and played some matches with some fiends...

Sound and graphics are great but the gameplay is... meh. They should've unlocked all game modes during the beta. If the game modes I've played are the best ones... it is a very generic MP shooter with some nice powerups. But if I want to play a frantic MP I'll go with Quake 3.

Not worth the asking price at all so far

If it makes you feel any better, I didn't win that one either. I then got it someplace else (forgot where) and never played it.

In other news: Started Witcher 3 last week. Played 18 hours so far.. 9% completion. This could take a while.

I'm just giving spoder shit for no reason. I don't really want it.

No, that was the 2nd giveaway. I messaged you about the CAG giveaway which was a 100% guarantee of getting a key unless CAG glitched on you. I doubt you got my message though, because it showed you as offline right after I messaged you.

When is any game really worth its MSRP these days for any of us CAG's?

(That question was rhetorical.)

EDIT:

I'm likely buying this at 75% off or better.

I don't care if nobody asked Drabe if anyone cares about FF13 taking up 63gb
I'm sure Foxy will care if any game is FF13-size; or NBA2K14-size (54 GB); or even Titanfall-size (around 50GB).

Obviously Foxy doesn't like WWE2K15 being a 30GB download - something of those kind of nature is going to be more of a pain b/c of whatever ISP service he is using + his PC.

When I do hefty downloads like this, I usually try to do something else while in the process - watch TV, a movie, or something. I just don't wanna sit and wait for the damn thing to download either.

That never happened.
I can confirm I got a message from Spoder for the first give away, the guaranteed one, so I think the invitation blew under your rug Maleficent.

Gave Battlefront a go for a couple of hours. Enjoyable. Got to try Drop Pods and enjoyed it for the most part. I love Survival as I typically enjoy well done horde-type modes, but that was in the Alpha (exact same maps as it is in the beta). The only major difference from the alpha besides Drop Pods is the Heroes are now in the regular multi (same map as the alpha as well) as well as seeing all of the other modes that are going to be available on launch.

It looks absolutely fantastic and I had no technical hitches whatsoever and was able to run on ultra effortlessly.

I'm still really on the fence about getting it. If I do, I'll deffo be hitting up Mexico, but Im just really unsure of getting it right now.

Same. The only way I'm getting it is if friends do and then I'll be changing nationalities for a few minutes while I purchase it. But I most likely won't get it...BLOPS3, Halo 5, CSGO, and Destiny is already FPS overload

None of those will I be bothering with, espc not COD and Im sick of CSGO. If I get Battlefront at least I can say its the only FPS Ill have this fall.

Is not a bad game at all (tried it for a bit more than a couple hours). It just doesn't seems worth the asking price IMHO, looks too casual and a bit generic. I'll buy it maybe at $10... but no more than that. Is not cheapness... I bought KF2 at full price and will surelly buy R6 Siege too because I enjoyed it too much with my group of friends. I solidsnakey some SP games lately too... but Battlefront... no.

Too many likely non-75% off games there to suit me.

Im completely opposite of you at least in respect to Siege. Im going to get Siege once the Nvidia coupons are dirt cheap, but otherwise I just dont care about it that much. Battlefront seems to have a lot going on with the various modes, but not being able to try them now is a turn off and Im not at all worried about it dying quickly as Star Wars is not Titanfall. The Star Wars license is the real draw for me. Shooting Stormtroopers in the face at such fidelity almost brought back the feelings I had when I got to shoot Nazis in the face in the original Wolf 3D. Not quite as visceral, but that was really cool. I really respect how great Dice have made it look.

Oh fuck, Im talking myself into getting it lol

$10 sounds like that sweet spot for games like R6: Siege + SW:BF.

I doubt I would ever Fakey a MP-based shooter in this day & age. Lack of content often seems to be the killer for me. Lack of SDK's (this is a big one for me); possible $-DLC's/Expansions; and possible $-Season Passes are enough to make me to play the waiting game.

You'd likely have a better chance of me doing anywhere from a Full Fakey (very doubtful) to a 1/2 Fakey on a RPG.

I can't deny how great the game looks at 1080p on Ultra. It just looks fantastic.

If you don't think you'll get much mileage out of SW:BF (which is one of my fears here, despite it being ultra-fun for now), I'd say to just wait a bit for some price-cuts/sales.

I think EA limited the beta a bit too much. I really wanted that game... but I'm not liking what I'm playing as it is now

I like playing coop games. That's why I'm liking r6 that much. If you have a nice team of friends that really are into that kind of game... is fantastic. We laughed A LOT (we use teamspeak) at our mistakes... Friendly fire is a must.

I'm usually the other way around. I'll rarely solidsnakey a SP game, I don't think I ever did that since Steam. With MP games is different. If my group of friends will buy a game to play it coop, I'll surelly buy it too.

Yup, you can run the game on your own local machine with you as the host. The only issue is a super annoying tether mechanic for local play, meaning you can't go very far (at all) from the host of the server. If someone gets too far away from the host, they get magically teleported back within the range of the host regardless of what they're doing.

Also, do keep in mind there won't be any PvP on my server until the Drabe's merry band of caggots indicates they are ready for PvP. It should be pretty hassle free in the beginning but I understand wanting to play just local at first.
Wow, that sounds just like Sacred2 when running a local Co-Op server game.

Is that supposed to turn me on? Because it does.

Brodate:

BRAWL

Apparently is Bomberman with a scary theme. Apparently it is unbelievable that neither I or Parallacks had played bomberman before. I really sucked at it so my perspective is skewed. It was well done and you went around planting bombs and stuff. As usual spoder found the best character and abused it. Had fun, but needs more maps/modes/anything to make it a long lasting experience.

What a bunch of jokers. What, did you backlog Bomberman since the 80s? Next you'll tell me that you haven't played Pac-Man
I was more of a Munch Man guy. Never owned any of the nintendos, and the only arcade in the area was at Shakey's. Goddamn, I miss those mojos. The Taxi pinball cab with the broken right flipper, not so much.

I didn't own a Nintendo because I was gaming on my Commodore, downloading warez from BBS's. I was digital download computer gaming before you kids knew how to blow the dust out of a flaky console cartridge.
