Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone Gwent Edition available on Gamestop

I just went to my local gamestop and picked up a copy of it on ps4. Seems like not all stores have it though since the other one I called said they didn't have it in stock yet
Thanks for this my local store is showing its in stock. Gonna go pick one up and then see how my online order arrives tomorrow.

Got mine in the mail today. Gamestop usually ships things well, but... really, Gamestop???

These things aren't even bubble mailers, because they have no bubbles. It's basically recycled cardboard mailers.

That's how my copy arrived today, but I was stunned to find the Hearts of Stone box pristine with no dents or creases.

Weird question, does anyone else's PS4 version make a sound when you move the box around?  Sounds kind of like a loose piece of plastic in there that maybe broke off from something.  I'm debating bringing it to a Gamestop store to exchange it, but only if it's not normal for it to make that sound.

There are some game pieces that are pretty sturdy cardboard that need to be popped out to use, one of those might have come loose in yours (one in mine did).

If you have concerns about opening it and them trusting you to not have used the DLC code, you can always take it up to the store and have them open it for you.

Thanks for the reply, it sounds like one of those plastic pieces may have gotten loose.

Mine did the same. It's one of the life tokens and/or the little square piece popped out of the cardboard (intended).

My ps4 copy ordered the first day this was posted showed up a few days ago in the same cardboard mailer and making a rattle. I figured it was the playing cards banging around. I havent opened it yet(its a xmas gift ha) so I cant wait to see inside. I was honestly expecting just a few displayable cards not full decks so Im happy they took it to that level. I actually ordered another ps4 copy for someone else yesterday and it seems to be going through. I guess these arent as limited as people hoped. After shipping it was pricey but i think it seems worth it.

If anyone is concerned about i selling out you should probably just buy it now. I believe we've entered that time of the year where GameStop extends its return period until after Christmas.

I grabbed one of these in anticipation of a Black Friday deal for the game as I played very little of it and enjoyed it. Didn't have the time for it so traded it in during the big GS trade in this summer but can't wait to dig into this game.

I picked this up at my local GS for X1, but there is no code in the box. There's a barcode on the wrapping that says "For DLC code on receipt only." I'm not sure if the salesperson scanned it or if he even had to. Anyone else have this issue?

If they charged you 19.99, they scanned the barcode. It will be on your receipt as per description.

The cards are really good quality as I'm impressed by the whole package. Considering the price, this is one of the better GS exclusives to come around.

Picked mine up from my local gamestop today too!

Big thanks to the impatient ebayers that paid me loads of $$$ for the cards :)

Got my order for the PS4 version in the mail from gamestop. Still waiting on the one I ordered from the redeemgwent website....
I just cancelled mine from the JINX store. $16 shipped for just the cards is too much. Luckily it wasn't set to ship until mid-Nov.

Just beginning to feel shafted and thinking that it wasn't worth it to purchase the season pass ahead of time.

Man, ideally I'd want a PC version but if it doesn't come up soon I'm thinking about just buying a PS4 version and offloading the DLC for as close to retail as I can. I love gwent and ,honestly, the decks are worth more to me than the $10 premium they are selling them for.

Edit: After doing some quick research, a rep on the CDPR forums made a post yesterday that a PC version should go up on GameStop in due time.
Whoa are you serious thanks now I can wait on it

Agreed. I would have paid $19.99 just for the cards alone. I hope they do (and I think they will) another DLC card bundle for the other factions when the next DLC comes out.

Except there's no code on the receipt... Sorry, I didn't make that clear.

Then you need to take it back and get your code. It would have been easier if they just packed the code in the box like the :ps4: version.
Yeah if you look at the wrapping on the back of the box for the XB1 set, there's a bar code that says DLC and then on the actual back of the box is the code for the cards. If both codes are scanned, your receipt should look like:

Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone DLC $9.99

Witcher 3 Gwent Deck $10.00 (with something saying promo -$9.99 or something like that.)

Yeah those are most likely the cardboard life counters that came loose from the sheet they're supposed to be attached to. Only other things in that box are the cards, instructions, and DLC code (on PS4 set.)

Just wanted to mention that the cards are awesome and completely playable as long as you construct two balanced decks out of them.

I focused on high-value close combat mustering cards for the monsters and a lot of high-value close/mid swappable units for the scoia'tael.

I only included around 4 hero cards in each deck, making sure they were on a similar playing field.  A few weather cards that targeted the opponents deck properly, as well (scoia'tael have like, no ranged units, so don't bother with a rain card in the monster deck).

If you know Gwent in the game, you know that there are a ton of cards that are useless if you have better versions and that's true here, too.  They've included all the crummy cards like 1/2 value units that you would never put in the deck, but it's awesome to have them just because of the art work and for the completionist factor.

I can't wait for the next add-on (it'd better come with the last two decks!).

Picked mine up in store.  It looked like they still had 5 or 6 PS4 copies so I don't think these will be hard to find.  I'm glad it wasn't an ordeal to get them.
