Unless they manage to do it in a manner that doesn't devalue the current northern realms and nilfgaardian decks, no thank you.
There were already decks released?I definitely hope they revisit the Nilfgaard and Northern Realms decks. I've got the originals, but I'll be missing the new leader and neutral cards for them.
the ones that came with the Xbox One $150 collector's edition of Witcher 3.There were already decks released?
Those were exclusively in the XB1 CE.There were already decks released?
Thanks for this my local store is showing its in stock. Gonna go pick one up and then see how my online order arrives tomorrow.I just went to my local gamestop and picked up a copy of it on ps4. Seems like not all stores have it though since the other one I called said they didn't have it in stock yet
That's how my copy arrived today, but I was stunned to find the Hearts of Stone box pristine with no dents or creases. :shock:Got mine in the mail today. Gamestop usually ships things well, but... really, Gamestop???
These things aren't even bubble mailers, because they have no bubbles. It's basically recycled cardboard mailers.
There are some game pieces that are pretty sturdy cardboard that need to be popped out to use, one of those might have come loose in yours (one in mine did).Weird question, does anyone else's PS4 version make a sound when you move the box around? Sounds kind of like a loose piece of plastic in there that maybe broke off from something. I'm debating bringing it to a Gamestop store to exchange it, but only if it's not normal for it to make that sound.
Thanks for the reply, it sounds like one of those plastic pieces may have gotten loose. There are some game pieces that are pretty sturdy cardboard that need to be popped out to use, one of those might have come loose in yours (one in mine did).
If you have concerns about opening it and them trusting you to not have used the DLC code, you can always take it up to the store and have them open it for you.
Cardboard. Is the box aluminum or cardboard?
I just wanna use it as storage.
Mine did the same. It's one of the life tokens and/or the little square piece popped out of the cardboard (intended). There are some game pieces that are pretty sturdy cardboard that need to be popped out to use, one of those might have come loose in yours (one in mine did).

Hard to say. Right now nearly every Gamestop within 30 miles has it in stock, and only a few of those say "Limited Quantity."is this thing rare? will it be only one printing?
"In Stock" generally means 3+ right? It may be limited, but for now it's available.Hard to say. Right now nearly every Gamestop within 30 miles has it in stock, and only a few of those say "Limited Quantity."
In my experience, it means 2+ while 1 is "low stock"."In Stock" generally means 3+ right? It may be limited, but for now it's available.
If they charged you 19.99, they scanned the barcode. It will be on your receipt as per description.I picked this up at my local GS for X1, but there is no code in the box. There's a barcode on the wrapping that says "For DLC code on receipt only." I'm not sure if the salesperson scanned it or if he even had to. Anyone else have this issue?
Except there's no code on the receipt... Sorry, I didn't make that clear. If they charged you 19.99, they scanned the barcode. It will be on your receipt as per description.
Then you need to take it back and get your code. It would have been easier if they just packed the code in the box like the version.Except there's no code on the receipt... Sorry, I didn't make that clear.
This. I was truly baffled like I was missing something. Lol. Guess I'll go back tomorrow. Then you need to take it back and get your code. It would have been easier if they just packed the code in the box like the version.
I just cancelled mine from the JINX store. $16 shipped for just the cards is too much. Luckily it wasn't set to ship until mid-Nov.Got my order for the PS4 version in the mail from gamestop. Still waiting on the one I ordered from the redeemgwent website....
Just beginning to feel shafted and thinking that it wasn't worth it to purchase the season pass ahead of time.I just cancelled mine from the JINX store. $16 shipped for just the cards is too much. Luckily it wasn't set to ship until mid-Nov.
Whoa are you serious thanks now I can wait on itMan, ideally I'd want a PC version but if it doesn't come up soon I'm thinking about just buying a PS4 version and offloading the DLC for as close to retail as I can. I love gwent and ,honestly, the decks are worth more to me than the $10 premium they are selling them for.
Edit: After doing some quick research, a rep on the CDPR forums made a post yesterday that a PC version should go up on GameStop in due time.
Agreed. I would have paid $19.99 just for the cards alone. I hope they do (and I think they will) another DLC card bundle for the other factions when the next DLC comes out.The cards are really good quality as I'm impressed by the whole package. Considering the price, this is one of the better GS exclusives to come around.
Same here. Looks like they're going back.Bought 2 because I thought it would come boxed. Nope, big bubble mailer, both were beat to shit. Thanks Gamestop!
Except there's no code on the receipt... Sorry, I didn't make that clear.
Yeah if you look at the wrapping on the back of the box for the XB1 set, there's a bar code that says DLC and then on the actual back of the box is the code for the cards. If both codes are scanned, your receipt should look like:Then you need to take it back and get your code. It would have been easier if they just packed the code in the box like the version.

The store I shop at got about 6 XB1 and 8 PS4 sets in on Thursday."In Stock" generally means 3+ right? It may be limited, but for now it's available.

Yeah those are most likely the cardboard life counters that came loose from the sheet they're supposed to be attached to. Only other things in that box are the cards, instructions, and DLC code (on PS4 set.)There are some game pieces that are pretty sturdy cardboard that need to be popped out to use, one of those might have come loose in yours (one in mine did).

U buy the ps4 or x1 version?Same here. Looks like they're going back.
Hope it doesn't, makes my X1 decks all the more valuable. Thanks for the great info regarding these two decks tho!I can't wait for the next add-on (it'd better come with the last two decks!).
No, each deck is the same cards. Are these cards random?
