Anyone have an idea why some games show up in my ready to install but the store still has an option to buy it? I'm fairly certain I've bought them.z

It's dragon age origins and mass effect 2 & 3. I was guessing it was an ea access problem but none of the other EA access games I own are like that.
 
The FH3 DLC is slightly tempting me, but I think I'll pass. I'm end game so it's not really useful and I have the Porsche DLC for 2 (since it has Chivos) and 4 is coming out. ...I'm really justifying this.

Really wish they'd put the Mountain Dew Car Pack on sale for once, though. I'd like to drive the Vega and Gremlin, but I'm not paying $7.

Game Pass has a lot of indie games that interest me but I would not usually pay money for. between that and all first party titles going to Game Pass now, the only advantage to me with EA access is that it is significantly cheaper.

Sorry for not posting a deal, but I was hoping somebody can help me figure this out.

My Xbox one X is terribly slow at times. I was watching the opening cut scene of For Honor yesterday and it would freeze for 1 second every 5 seconds or so. The UI is ridiculously slow, too. Is this a common problem? Is there a fix?

I would try to refresh the dashboard, hold LT + RT then press Y.

If that doesn’t work do a full shutdown and restart

Thanks to multiple people for pointing out the cheap prices on Sega Bass Fishing, NBA Jam, Destroy All Humans and several others. Some of them being a couple bucks is a definite no brainer when you'll waste that on a soda or something.

These will bring me years of enjoyment sitting in my backlog.
 
I know that with my Xbox One S, I have to put it in power saving mode to keep it running smoothly. Leaving it on diminishes its performance over time and made it hard to get online. Oddly, the Playstation 4 Slim never seemed to have this problem...

What's also annoying is that you can't just remove and replace the hard drive like you can with a PS4. Come on, Microsoft! External drives are kludgy.

I had the same problem trying to buy Castle of Illusion,

It wouldn't let me buy it from the xbone or the microsoft store

I had to hook up my 360 (had to go out and buy a controller and everything)

Than I was able to download it to the xbone

 
Looks like I'm going to have to contact MS support again. My user info will not work in my 360, but it will work for my Xbox one lol.
I can log into the website and Xbox one, but not 360? Hmm mm

I was trying to get some of the cheap games.
 
After a few months of being leaked, the Lego Harry Potter collection is finally Xbox one bound, one of the few I haven't played, so gonna be a purchase for me
 
Welp, I threw the $4.79 at FullBlast when it was still in preorder.  The discount carried over to post release, and it looks like all the achievements can be cleared in about an hour.  A little after 1am Eastern last night, TA had 7 gamers owning the game with 6 having completed it, but each individual achievement had 16 people unlocking them.  Numbers are currently in the mid-100s now.  I don't regret the purchase, the question now is whether to knock it out ASAP or wait for some TA competition when I might need some quick achievements.

Wonder when MS will start the fall edition of their quests.  Haven't checked on console, only the web, where the summer stuff is still up.  Not everything is showing correctly there, it currently shows the final Gold quest (unlock 7 achievements between Aug 21-27) as incomplete, which I definitely did.  I think last week that one showed as complete.

I picked it up for 2.00 played it for 10 minutes and then deleted it. It was just super boring and the achievements are harder to get. You might get 1.24 enjoyment out of it. I don't like fishing very much so if you do you may like it more.

I do enjoy fishing so that is one reason I'm thinking about picking it up. Plus it's super cheap so that helps too. Thanks for the input.

 
It's only the second day since date night.  What's the proper wait time etiquette?  Is it safe to follow up now, or should I wait another day or two?

My experience was closer to 15-20 minutes than an hour. Threw it up there quick for some GTASC backup before they went and extended the period this morning.

Game Pass quest is up and it's pretty easy. They already said the prize is a $5 gift card, although it has weird wording that says to use to buy Halo ODST add on

1) 120 Minutes in Halo MCC

2) unlock 5 achievements in Halo MCC

3) increase gamerscore by 50

Ordered an Elite controller yesterday for $80 or so, so watch out single player games that I'll primarily use this for! My skills are going to become more mediocre'er!

It seems to say I'm ineligible for this offer when I'm logged in. Maybe its because I already own the ODST add on?

Ah, I start checking quests by going to the Gold base page, to the progress page and then from there to the Game Pass progress page. None of those have updated yet.

earn 5 achieevements in MCC is super annoying for people that already played a ton of it, got the easiest 400 or so achievements, everything left is a strugle

My personal recommendation for the paddles (directions are while holding the controller normally with the paddles on the back) is X on the bottom left, Y top left, A bottom right, B top right. I tried a couple other combos, but never got it. With this configuration, it clicked and I haven't messed with it since. Extremely helpful for a lot of twin stick situations.

Works for me since I never started it, but it makes me curious about the prior quests for The Division and Rise of the Tomb Raider. The MCC quest says complete 5 new achievements, so that's explicit. The Division one was "Earn Gain a foothold achievement in Tom Clancys The Division." while Rise of the Tomb Raider" was "Earn the 'One-Sided Conversation' achievement in Rise of the Tomb Raider before August 27". Both of those leave open the possibility that the quest could be completed by those that earned them beforehand. Was that the case for anyone?

I did check my progress page it's not showing as completed for me with "One-Sided Conversation" just says the "Get Started". I didn't do Division to compare but kind of lame if they don't give it to those that have already unlocked them. The Tomb Raider one in particular is a quite early achievement, almost in the "tutorial"

I got The Division achievement back in November IIRC. It showed as completed when I checked the challenge. I won't try for the MCC quest, I plan on binging the whole Halo series with my girlfriend at some point. Now is not the time for that.

It might return someday, Deadpool is pretty popular and at the very least, there is still the option to get a disc version.

Does anyone know if The Messanger is a Switch exclusive? I'd rather buy it on Xbox.

Where did you get this?

I reach a plateau in Halo 5 at the high Platinum ranks and can never get to Diamond. I'm very naïve so I tell myself this is because I need an Elite controller to make me better and ignore the fact that I'm approaching 30 so my reflexes aren't what they used to be.

Heh. I bought an Elite controller as my birthday gift to myself earlier this year. I can't seem to get beyond 70% Gold 2 rank this season in Gears 4 KOTH. I blame the quitting teammates I get in public matchmaking more than the fact I'm 42 and don't have the reflexes of someone approaching 30 anymore. ;)

Seems to be for now. A lot of indies are going that route now because they are selling best there. I assume if it does well enough it could happen. It's gotten decent buzz but I could see it being drowned out by Hollow Knight and Dead Cells.

Though we could see a situation like Undertale and Transistor have had, both of which came out on PS4 with a much later Switch port, but still no word of Xbox versions.

 
I can't imagine many exclusive indie games will be permanent exclusives, I fully expect we will get guacamelee and spelunky 2, 6 months to a year after release, and imagine most switch indies to be the same.
