A friend of mine had his ps2 die on him. He's still hesitant to join the next gen (and having jumped into it headfirst myself, I can't really blame him) so he's looking for a good deal on a ps2 but he doesn't want one used/refurbished.
Seen any lately?
In The exact same boat.
Thought I would check here.
It's crazy because a year ago there were deals where they were giving away all sorts of games with the system. I'm having a hard time finding anything like that.
I could see if there was a real shortage but I always see them when I'm in the stores.
That's interesting.
So I guess they're going to take a dollar or two off each price.
Y'know. Oftentimes the BB price is cheaper than the gamestop used price. That that mean some games will raise in price?
Once again a BIG sale at gamestop adds up to only a slight discount for your average CAG. Anything I would have wanted to get from the list, I already got ages ago and for less.
Still, it's interesting to see them getting close to real sales, unless of course (as I expect) these are all for...
Yes I do know what a scam is and you defined it yourself. So how is telling consumers that they'll never get the game the day it comes out without preordering, not a scam. They just lying then?
I never preorder and often get games on day of release.
I guess the used game ripoff isn't a literal...
Joking aside.
How am I not helping? I'm advising everyone against this letsplaywii thing (as I haven't gotten any sort of response from them) and telling them where I actually did get free wiipoints. Of course I'm going to pimp my referral code at the same time. Why shouldn't I?
The only...
Oooooo! I don't know, is it?
So go tell the teacher on me. Remind him he didn't give us homework either.
By the way that's Prize Rebel. P-R-I-Z-E R-E-B-E-L.
What's this thread for anyway? Oh yea. It's about getting free wii points, which you can do at Prize REBEL.
And how is that NOT a scam? I don't even know what the preorder policy for bestbuy or cc because I go there they day the game comes out and they sell it to me. I don't have to give them $5 for each game months ahead of time. That's NOT pre-ordering that's some sort of perversion of layaway which...
Don't do this for money, do it out of love for games.
Do the complete opposite of Gamestop. Have reasonable prices for used games; not a dollar and some change less than a new copy.
And if I walk in looking for a game that's come out in the last 6 months I don't want to hear: "Did you preorder...
No More Heroes hands down. Didn't even have to think about that one.
That game got rave reviews, looked so cool, and it really could've been great if they had finished making it. Half the game was kind of fun but would've gotten annoying if the other half of the game wasn't a hell of constant...
I've been weighing the pros and cons of each system since the 2nd full trailer of GTA4 came out and right now I'm leaning more towards a ps3. Here's why:
When I play online, it's usually a pc game so the free online (even if it isn't as good) is more appealing.
The rrod is a big deterrent for...
What I was going to say.
The one on the front page is pretty stupid. I couldn't even find the amusement to groan.
Really, who is going to believe a site geared towards "Cheap Ass Gamers" is going to charge $100 a year. You have to pull something that's a little believable.
The couple of times I shopped at a Gamestop store were so disenchanting I've never even bothered to look at the web site.
It looks as though they've only made it easier for the customer to be ripped off.
If Gamestop really wanted me to stop hating them they would have their used games reflect...
