I played this game when it released in 2013, if you temper your expectation it's a really fun ride. Especially if your a fan of the character.
I'm wonder the same thing. If it does get a $10 gift card I'll probably pick it up. If not, I'm already getting Disney Infinity 3.0, MGS5, and maybe Mad Max the week after so I'll probably wait on it.

I like the Dualshock 4 a lot more than the DS3 for sure. But it's the off set thumbsticks and the fact that I can roll my index finger to easily hit either the bumpers or triggers without actually having to move my finger that makes the XB1 controller my preference...
