Contact LEGO support - they're really good about replacing stuff. As a stopgap, you could cut off the chewed-up bits, strip back the wires, twist them back together and cover with electrical tape.

If it's anything like the PS4 version, you have to go to the main opening loading screen of the game, and then to settings and then to the content Manager or whatever it's called and pick which extra content you want to install.

This is how it works for any in-store promotional purchases. I assume online orders with in-store returns are the same, but honestly have no idea.

Also note that the TRU B1G1 sale works on the Lego Batman Story Pack. I ordered 2 and will return 1 in-store, making it $25.
