The story completely baffled me. I had no idea what was going on, and I had to imagine reasons or story to fill in the gaps. It was very unsatisfying.
The game was also too easy. I ended up simply shooting most of the baddies i ran across, especiallly the boss on the oil rig. You couldn't get...
Were you watching for cop cars on your way home?? I would have felt like i just stole the f***ing crown jewels! Great find!
Oh yeah, I also got Super Mario Kart for 5.
Yeah, I agree about the loading. When I want to have what I like to call a "no commitment" gaming experience I pop in Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, or All Stars. Within seconds I am happily smashing goombas or shooting turtle shells. The only loading screen i see is a quck *Ding* with a...
Pawn shops are definatly great places to hunt. The pawners don't seem to know much about games and are willing to let anything slip through. I am willing to bet that in some Iowa pawn shop a copy of Chrono Trigger is rusting away with a five dollar tag on it.
I have a great pawn shop around here that sells all the old games and stuff for little to nothing. Check out what i got for three bucks a pop.
NES - three dollars a piece
Contra
Double Dragon II
Legend of Zelda
Legend of Zelda II
Mike Tysons Punch Out

Cool. I have a super nintendo and would love to have CT but I don't and am a cheap ass gamer. Ill probably go with my original plans and get FF:C. Thanks for the help guyz
So Final Fantasy Chronicles is a bad version? That was the version i was going to get.
That is unfortunate, because the SNES Chrono Trigger is like 100 dollars or more.
Sigh. I'll think of something.
I know, i know. I live a sheltered life. I want to experience both of these classics, but is it necessary to play trigger before i play cross? Are the stories independant?
Thanks for the help.
