You receive services from your state don't you? Someone has to pay or the services go away, so do you want to pay more tax or lose policemen, firefighters, teachers, social workers, prison guards, etc? You can't have low taxes and lots of expensive services at the same time.

I have to agree, too. If they aren't making any money because everyone is buying games, playing them, then returning them for full credit then they will have to change their policy to defective exchange for an identical game only.

I thought once a game was opened it was trade in credit only, no returns. How are they supposed to resell the game as new if the shrinkwrap is off and the seals are broken?

I've gotten three $25 gift cards from them so far, so no problems. The only thing I don't like is the idea that you have to get $50 in credit to get a $25 card when you can a $50 card at some other retailers.

Can you still connect to Live with a first generation XBOX? I thought I read somewhere a while back the the old XBOX would eventually be cut off from live once the 360 was out. If first generation systems can't connect I wouldn't think the old cards issued back then would still work, either.
