I got the refund as well. I'm not gonna complain about free money, but it is kinda weird. I do have to say that I think it is BS how prices on these games seem to drop so quickly after release date. Plus, I can't tell you how many games I've pre-purchased from Amazon only to get a coupon from...
This is VERY good news for Amazon. As a member of Prime since it first started I always bought my movies, dvds, and books from them. But, the few games that I did purchase ALWAYS came late. I remember getting Gears of War (with 1-day shipping) about a week after it released. The same with...
My 360 just crapped out and I would rather buy a new one than spend half the price of one to get it repaired. Does anyone know of a place that sells them cheap, but has a warranty option as well?
I have a similar issue, but I have the newest drive in the system which I purchased last November. This are just going reallllllllly slow or not loading at all. How do I go about cleaning the lens? Do you think that could be the problem?
Yeah, see for me I was going to impulse buy DKJB and Y:T+G last night but figured I'd wait till morning and if I still wanted them I'd buy them. Bad decision :(
Yeah, unfortunately I live in NY, so I get taxed from both of them. It wasn't like that in the past, though. I used to be able to order games tax free all the time. Oh well...
Metroid Prime 2 with T-shirt now pre-ordered at EBgames
I know for EBgames at least there is only a couple states that they don't charge tax for: Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire and Oregon. Gamestop charges tax for just NY and TX.
Yeah, from what I understand the FYE deal and the MediaPlay deal are both for just the bongos. I don't want to order from a place that is known for making mistakes like that. But, thanks for the heads up...
I got Donkey Konga and San Andreas. I'm gonna stick with EB for Metroid 2, however, because I want the free t-shirt. Hopefully they'll offer free overnight shipping sometime soon...
