I only played it for a little bit, but I remember it wasn't nearly as fun as Gunstar. I should dig it up and try it again.

The stretched-out graphics look awkward and the new translation sucks. I prefer the original PS1 version.

I switched to horizontal for a few days and noticed the disc wiggles just a tiny bit while being sucked into the machine. Apparently, it's easier on the mechanism to take discs in the vertical position.

I have the same problem in MGS3, but I also encountered it with my PS2 controller. I just had to train my big, greasy mitts to be more delicate with the buttons.
