If they give $250 TIV for a PS4 a slight flip might be possible to pay for most of an Xbox One. I mean if they offer 90% extra on trades towards an XB1 and you trade in a PS4 with a minimum TIV of $250 that's store credit for $475 having only spend $400+ tax. A small flip.

Sell the preorder. they can meet you at the store and pay you and you'll stand there as they pick it up. no risk because you don't have the product.
