finally back on after a 2 day hiatus (my internet didn't work :cry:) but was glad when I saw some cags voting for me! I admit, I haven't done rankings yet but hopefully I'll get around to it this week.

Is my former teammate eliter1 really that good? I want a match with him as well. Now that I think about it, he was strongest on our team.

Seems the problem is someone dug into one of the nearby phone lines (I'm on DSL) and it screwed up everything on my block, but Verizon doesn't seem all too worried about getting out here to fix it.

So what happens if zerowing can't play me? Can we give him more time, another bye, or will he have to take a loss? I'm hoping for the first one.

I couldn't believe that death. I thought I had you that match, I saw you in the high percentages then all the sudden I tornadoed through the floor. That ruined my day :lol:

Then I felt worse when in the second match when I kept reverse shuttle looping off the map when recovering. Regardless you would have probably won that match but I was so shaken out of my grove after that first match all I could do was watch :cry:

I did feel better in the FFAs after though. Think I'm ok now :lol: but I'm definitely out of the playoffs now, I don't even get a nice draft pick at the end of the season.

I thought you had me that first match as well. In fact, I had already resigned myself about half-way through. :whistle2:# Then you broke the floor, and I was just like :hot:. Again, that's just unfortunate.

Edit: back to being disappointed, that one kill could have made the third match count, but I think I'd still be at #8 in rankings even if I won.

That's fine. I noticed you were popping in and out, but never stayed. I'm not feeling on top of my game anyway, so another day would be best. Just PM me whenever you're free!

D, I was joking 100%. You were entirely reasonable with your tornado usage - I thought I was making that clear with the :lol:. I think you're a great player! :applause:

Joe vs. Mad D - Mad D almost pulled off an upset. Has he gotten that much better or is Joe rusty? :whistle2:k
zitanix vs Amigo - Another close one. I'm still looking forward to a Week 10 rematch, zitanix. But before then, I need to watch out for Amigo.

Joe vs. zitanix - If Blue is available, do you guys want it recorded?
 
Hooooo boy. My Wii was FINALLLY able to get online this Saturday...when I was out of my apartment for a football game (damn you, Utah!) and dyeknom was (and may still be) out of town. It probably didn't help that I accidentally filled my PM box today. :oops:

I think the current plan is to give it a shot tomorrow, and hope that that's close enough to avoid using either of our byes. It's not dyeknom's fault that he was gone for one day, but the Wii connection issues I had weren't really my fault either.

Probably a little bit of both. :) I have to say, I thought I was doing pretty well tonight. Although, I am not used to Brinstar's terrain. It was a smart counter-pick on D's part. :applause:

I guess I will address each tag to clarify matters:

he does spam - Only with Pikachu. All my other characters use projectiles strategically. I think the better term to use is "camping," but this depends on the situation.
i'm #1 - That won't happen. Lol.
joe's mad goo > everyone - I'm not gonna lie, this is true...at least based on the last tag tourney.
joeb sucks - Whoever put this tag should try to take him down. I'd like to see it happen.
mad d #8 for life - Possible. The future is unclear.
marc does cartwheels - As Diddy, yes. In real life, I fail...badly.
marc eats pudding pops - If you're talking about dookie, then NO. I don't see how this tag relates with Smash.
marc spams - See "he does spam".
naked cartwheels? - Diddy wears a shirt, BUT he is naked down there. So I kinda agree.
wii - Obvious.

I have a feeling most of those Marc tags are coming from one or two individuals. I don't know who but I'm off to do some detective work.

And just a general rule: it's important to let us (most importantly, evergoo) know how the scheduling of your matches is progressing. We're getting to a point where we have to make tough decisions about how to deal with matches that have gone unplayed. Your participation in the process of scheduling your match makes a big difference - let us know if you've PM'd someone and they haven't replied, if your internet connection is giving you problems, etc. This will help us determine how to deal with the situation. Thanks, guys (and gals)! :D

ChibiJosh, your information is likely more up-to-date than ours. The last we heard of FallMoon (goo, correct me if I'm wrong) was several days ago in this forum. That was when we learned of her technical difficulties.

If she PM'd you yesterday, I'm assuming she's figured something out.
 
Well, she PM'd me yesterday around 4pm saying that "She forgot all about this, we have to play today" And, around 6, I saw it and replied that "I can play now, and I'm not sure for how long I'll be free." I was around until about 9, and haven't gotten a reply.

I was Donkey Kong in that second match...not that it mattered much. I was able to bang around your Game and Watch a lot, but it didn't help in the end.

Once again, I managed to keep all of my losses to one life. I'm proud of that, at least. Good games. :D
 
I just let Fallmoon know about the match, shes making chili right now and you NEVER mess with a lady making chili. Especially one who can use ZSS.
