The Miami announcers talked about how "spoiled" the Boston fans are because they booed the Pats today... They got booed because they deserved to be, the effort was simply not there.
 
Raiders choke away a close game as usual, losing on a last second field goal in Buffalo.

Stupid Davis will undoubtedly fire Kiffin now.
 
What the hell? God the NFL is full of snobs.

The nfl I swear is the only sport that screwed over its fans like this. Games get blacked out, games get cut short, they always seem to hire horrid commentaries. And I cant even watch an over time game. Bah!


Christ they suck.

Yep. In one of my leagues I sat Wes and started Eddie Royal, Roy Williams and Steve Smith.

Unfortunately, in another league I had to pick either Matt Cassell or Philip Rivers and I went with Casell. That being said, I don't think Rivers is going to light the world on fire today anyway.

At least my Skins are finally getting their act together now.

Actually I think it was a good idea not to play Roy Williams. The lions are looking like complete trash right now.

2 or 3 fumbles, a couple sacks and they are loosing 21-3 already.
 
Actually my real problem is this. I was debating all week if I should start Matt Forte over Willi Parker because philly d is mad sweet.

I wound up going with Parker has the safe bet. He still might break one but damn Matt Forte is looking better and better over 100 all purpose yards with a TD.

I knew it but wanted to give Forte just 1 more week to see if he was the real deal.

Oh god Shannon Sharpe needs to get fired. He is one of the worst on that crew. His lisp makes him almost unbearable to listen to.

Dammit, for the second week in a row the Bears can't hold a 4th quarter lead. Oh and here we go with the McNabb injuries just in time to fuck my fantasy football team.

Yes.

I have been saying this ever since I first saw him on the air. He is just awful. Put him in a room with Michael Irvin and Terry Bradshaw and have them read to kids at school. It should prove amusing.

Man, Drew Brees just netted me 47 FF points by himself.

The Eagles game was crazy as hell. They were sending in blitzes like crazy!
 
I figured when Denver went up 21-3 on NO that they'd give up that lead again.

Cleveland needs to put in Brady Quinn and see if he can give this offense a kick in the ass.
 
Is anyone good at digging up answers to weird trivia questions, 'cause I wanna know a few:

1) What is the worst start a franchise (football and also all sports included) has had to open up a new facility?

2) What QB has thrown the most INTs for TDs? (I swear, almost all of Peyton's INTs look eerily similar. I thought Mathis was Samuel or Ty Law for a second.)
 
i need rodgers to have a bad game tonight in both of my leagues.

after delhomme had that shitty game i was really mad that i went with him over big ben. but after watching the philly pitts game i guess my gut was right.

Man, you scared me I thought Brees had some crazy awesome game I was unaware of, but I'm guessing the league you play in is 1 point per 10 passing yards?

Guy I'm playing has Brees...would've been a huge deficit, but I've still got Rodgers and Jennings tonight to but away my game for me :)

He tossed for 421 though and 1 TD.

What I cant figure out is how you throw for that much but only get 1 TD?

Way to go Packers. On a 3rd and 20 let Romo throw a 50yd TD... That probably put the nail in my FF coffin in one of my two leagues. Unless Favre goes for about 40 on MNF.

Didn't watch the game but I'd say it's bad red zone offense or rushing TDs.

If anything this loss should be something for the team as a whole to look over and learn on where improvements need to be done. I do want to see Matt Cassel do well. I will agree on that Matt needs to take some chances to Moss for instance. From what I've read Moss only had single coverage most of the game yet Cassel rarely threw to him. If Cassel could of gotten an deep ball or two to Moss yesterday then at least score wise the game might not look like a big blow out.

By the way.....Minny defense is fucking raping Carolina...they have like 6 sacks right now.

The Dome only got louder and louder upon each sack too. Vikes on offense looked very spotty during the first half. The second half was much better since Ferotte was starting to feel much more in sync with the rest of the team. If the Vikes can play as solid as they did during the second half against Carolina for the rest of the season then we could be on the verge of seeing one helluva Vikings team in the playoffs this year.
 
Sorry to hear that DJsteel. It was a great week for me. Both my FF teams won. Cowboys won and the Steelers Lost. Couldn't get any better then that :D
 
The strange thing is that my auto-pick team is doing better than my live draft team. Although, the Brady injury has a lot to do with that.

lol...the Lions are the one franchise I feel bad for.. they had the best running back in NFL history (arguably) and they could never get the players around him to make a good playoff run.. also it sucks to see them wallow in a league where you can go from worst to first in a matter of an off-season..

Picked up O'Sullivan before the season and started him...and BAM money.....The Inconvenient Truth was cash....

i lost because i benched health miller, this couple of points would have done it for me. thats annoying.

on the bright side though, the 49ers are 2-1, the JTO era has begun!!

i'm not riled up..i'm too much a football fan to let a steeler loss lose my faith and NFL fandom.. there are a lot of fair weather fans up in Erie.. it sucks you have to experience that.. it seriously made me despise the Eagles back when I was in college.. I know how you feel..
 
I am winning by 20 points in my FF league but he has Gates who already has a TD.

Hopefully they take the foot off the pedal and just run the ball the rest of the game. I cant still win as long as Gates stays under 100 yards and scores less than 3 TDs.
 
This is the first time in i dont know how long i can actually say:

it feels good to be in first place.

I know it may not last for long but i dont care. 3-0 and a comback win against the raiders. and i may take back what i said about them. They had us till the 4th quarter.

My FF team got killed because Braylon Edwards' hands are made of pure marble and Earnest Graham didnt get a touch at all with griese throwing over 67 times.

I'm actually somewhat happy with last night because of the way the defense played. I definitely think the game was a learning experience and they'll be better for it down the road when the schedule gets tougher.
 
Guys. I am being serious when I say this.

I dont think Farve is going to last the entire year. I think his streak my stand because they will start him and then bench him. But he has lost that legendary aura that made it so people wouldnt unload on him. Yeah he got sacked but no one really blasted him.

Now. People are fucking Farve up almost every play. I just dont think he has it to last the entire season.
