Yikes the Hawks have hit their first real rough patch of the season. The Olympic break is looking pretty good right about now.

Yup, Tippett has turned things around with essentially the same core of players. The Coyotes defense looks a lot better than previous seasons with Gretzky as coach.

Coyotes play Dallas today, hopefully they get the win for you Vip. :lol:

LaBarbera has actually been pretty decent this season, for a backup goalie anyway.

Wings had another collapse today. I didn't see the game, but apparently Holmstrom, Eaves & Miller were all injured. Injuries aside to lose so many games after being ahead is tough to stomach. This season has been a complete debacle.

Nicklas Lidstrom 28:32 TOI +3. I hope he tore some people a new ass after the game.

As expected Ville Leino was traded today. I wish him the best of luck in the future. When we met Ville he couldn't have been nicer and I truly believe he has talent enough to be an everyday player in the NHL. He never complained about being a healthy scratch so he's a team player and no whiner. Hopefully he'll catch on in Philly.

I can't believe they're still going to play that Caps-Pens game today despite their being no above ground metro service. How are people from the suburbs supposed to get there?
 
Man what a great game! When the Penguins went up 4-1 in the 2nd I thought it was over. A great outcome for the NHL too, with Ovechkin and Crosby playing great games.

As for the hit... lol funny, but not surprising. I'VE hit people twice my size and they've fallen down. Not to mention it's Gill.

And finally... WTF Sharts? Although, thank god Caps streak is over.

As a Red Wings fan I've come to the conclusion the review system is nothing more than a guy flipping a coin. So I wasn't surprised either way on that one.

Sharts/Wings tonight. Wings have their number this season. The Red Wings need the points badly so I'm expecting them to play like shit and get blown out. Lidstrom will play 30 minutes and be a plus player.
 
I'd actually again want the Wings to win, SARS and fuckS are actually trying. The Wings and Flames NEED to keep them at bay, as for the Sharts I didn't watch last nights game but if they play anything like a team that got shut out the Wings will continue to have their number this season.

Edit: End of OT. I'm happy. Sharts really shouldn't deserve to win. lol

Edit 2: Sens won? LOL!

Still, glad you at least got a point. It's better than nothing especially since we gave away the puck so many times, You'd think with 50+ shots you'd it calm the Nabby show a bit.
 
Downie is a punk. Another example why the rest of the league needs to be thankful Chara is such a good guy.
 
i like how downie throws up his hands with his gloves on and stares at the ref like "whatd i do!" hes not a guy i see a lot being a west coast team and all.

This is fucking amazing... Even the Olympics can't get schdules/channels right to show hockey.

Also... really? Why bother. I mean, doe a team of amateurs really have a chance against a pro team... ?
 
Does anyone have a good site for keeping track of the scores and schedules for the Olympic hockey games... ?

I was so hoping for NHL on the fly to do specials on the games, but... apparently not. Any where to get at least decent highlights on tv...?

Hockey tries really hard to keep their fans around...

That was a joke. 8-0. I feel bad for norway....but i guess if you have a nationally recognized program...your in....i mean Japan, UK, and Kazahkstahn also have teams.....but not sure if anyone of them made it this year.
 
Normally, for NHL I'll use them since they are a little less fail than nhl.com but christ do they fail for olympic hockey. I mean geez it's less teams yet you can't put them in a decernable organized way?! Can you at least separate womens from mens... ? This isn't rocket science...

My friend got tickets from the Kings' stretch run pack (6 games) so I'll be going to 5 games over the course of March and April. I'll be in Phoenix during the March 27th Kings/Stars game.
