Kronwall got a Game Misconduct for a hit like that last playoff. LOL.

Seriously. Best to Zetterberg. My favorite player on the ice right now, and one of the best 2-way players around. I hope there's no long-term injury there.
^wow, looked clean though.
Oh it was. Mattias Ohlund isn't a cheap shot artist. No headshot or nothing. That was textbook. Just too bad Z was on the wrong end.

I'm reading Z is gone 2+ weeks with a slightly separated shoulder. Pavel Datsyuk is going to see some crazy ice time over the next couple weeks.

The list grows. All you can do is laugh at this point.

Sucks, dude.

I would sympathize with the Red Wings for their injuries, but I am too bitter over how my team has been playing with our injuries. So I know how ya feel at least.

At least the Wings are still finding ways to win. We're slowly moving up in our conference. Still have a shot at some June Hockey, baby!!!!

If I ever figure out how to do a fucking trade on NHL10 I'll see what he's all about.
Damn it... Today was suppose to be another day for the fucks and SARS to go down the standings even more.
Sorry.

God damn dafoomie.

lol, Can't get what we want all the time. Although, Detroit does have a pretty good excuse at this point.

Edit: Speaking of them, ouch. 0-2 in the last 2.

LMAO! Nice goal Vishnevskiy! This is even better since Phx is looking to have their game in the bag (don't fuck it up Phx.). SARS lose big tonight. WIN.
The organist at the Joe Louis Arena just played the Mario Brothers theme during the Red Wings/Blackhawks game. Awesome.
Yep. Noticed this in another game too. I wish they had the organ at all games.

That's pretty funny. Patrick 20cent Kane and the Hawks smoked the Wings again. I don't understand booing Hossa though.

Thank God the Hawks played better tonight than they did last night against the Sharks. That was my first ever Blackhawks game in person last night against the Sharks as I have only been interested in hockey for the past few seasons. I have really grown to like the sport a lot even though I still don't know all the advanced techniques and strategies. It will take many more years of watching the game to get as knowledgeable as I am about the other major sports. But it was a lot of fun regardless of the outcome, turns out the United Center is a great place to see a hockey game. I'm pretty sure it was a sellout and the fans were super into it pretty much the whole time, even when the Hawks had some awful turnovers that resulted in easy scoring chances for the Sharks. It didn't help last night that Huey played poorly either. In tonight's game the defense played great, Niemi was fantastic in goal again.

The same reason people boo other free agents that leave the team. Fedorov for example. I never cared but others demand lifetime loyalty.
^ lol 20cents

Keep it up Phx, make those fucks suffer. Too bad I can't say the same for the fuckjackets...
Shouldn't be too difficult, the Ducks are craptastic this season.

Coyotes are playing good hockey, I just hope they don't implode after the All-Star break like last season and actually make it to the playoffs for once.

I have the same worries about the Kings, yukine. They're still only a couple points out of 1st in the Western Conference and look good right now, but I know better than to take this success for granted. I'd be disappointed with anything less than a playoff berth, but I really think the Kings could be as high as a 4 seed if they keep up what they're doing.

Cgarb, I just got into hockey at the end of the 2007-08 season. It truly is an awesome experience seeing the game live. I've been to 7 Kings games over the past 2 seasons as well as dozens of ECHL games, and I can pretty much call hockey my favorite sport now.

Yeah the game was a ton of fun in person. I like watching hockey on TV but in person its so much better. I also am playing Fantasy hockey for the first time this year, that along with collecting hockey trading cards has really helped me learn players on other teams besides the Blackhawks. I don't just like watching the Blackhawks games either, I can sit down and watch pretty much any teams play now, especially if its two good teams matched up against each other. I am looking forward to watching the Winter Classic this year, I tried to get tickets to the Wings/Hawks at Wrigley last year but that was an impossible task.
They're still only a couple points out of 1st in the Western
Haven't they had a lot of time off lately? Don't remember them playing at least lately. The schedules for some of these games are really retardo if you ask me.

Yeah, the Kings are coming off of 8 days rest. I'm going to the Coyotes/Kings game tonight, Coyotes lead the Kings by 1 point in the standings and I believe Smyth is coming back for the Kings. It should be an entertaining game.

Got tickets to the Bruins/Candiens game on Feb 4th for Christmas. Can't wait, it'll be my first NHL game (Went to some Springfield Indians games as a kid).

Where are you sitting?

I just got home, it was a great game. For the last 50 seconds or so it was 6 on 3 in the Kings favor with the Coyotes up by one goal. Glad to see the fans come out to commemorate Doan's 1,000th game.

I thought of a new name for Comcast... ComCunts.

I was in Reno yesterday (also, the Silver Legacy blows too) and they had ComCunts and it did say the Sharks game would be on... Was it? No... Get your fucking heads out of ur asses NHL! Christ.

Anyway, Since I also didn't have free internet in Reno... I just looked at the scores.

I'd like to give Phx and the Avs a big shout out for putting my divisional rivals in the hole further. So nice to see that happen.

I actually did get to see the Caps/Devils game and wow. lol

Oh, almost forgot about the Sens. Alfredsson is now hurt. The only first line player left is Stonehands Michalek. Yikes! Poor Kovalev. There's always Mr. 10 pts Cheech I suppose. lol

Just ordered my Winter Classic tickets, I'm out in the bleachers. Should be a blast, though James Taylor singing the anthem might be a downer. Certainly won't pump up the crowd.

It's pretty hilarious how a team that only has 27pts. on the season with as many wins as some teams have loses can dismantle a top team. I guess the Caps took the day off?

Anyway, I'm kinda actually satisfied that Phx got a pt tonight although Sharks should've won it.

I am however surprised LA couldn't handle the Wild.

Wow, although... LMAO @ SARS.

Edit: My dad asked me if I wanted to the Caps/Sharks game tonight in his place with my sister, I didn't say no lets put it that way.

Winter Classic is almost upon us... Live practices by both teams at Fenway will be broadcast on the NHL Network tomorrow, starting at 11am.

I upgraded my seats from the bleachers to behind 1st base. Should be a good one, the Bruins and Flyers both won big tonight.

They said on ESPN last night that there is a chance of rain Friday in Boston. Hopefully the rain stays away I could see that really making a mess of the ice and the game.

LA has lost what...5 out of their last 6? They were first in the conference, and now they're down around where Detroit is...

Wow, Mr. backhand high (Clowe) actually wins it a second time. I think he's 4 for 1000 in shootouts now. lol

Anyway, again nice that Phx got another point.
Don't forget, 1pm tomorrow, noon Central on NBC.
Have fun man. That should be awesome!

Wings pulled out a close one tonight against the Aves.
