It really pisses me off that the AL only started losing the All Star game when it began to impact the Rangers. It also is one of the dumbest ways to decide home field advantage for a playoff series ever.

Well, Texas had plenty of scoring opportunities, but didn't get it done. WTF was with the pinch hitters when there was one out and two on? Seriously can't fathom why Ron was throwing the game right there, because soon as each one stepped to the plate I knew it was an out already. A base hit would have at least tied the game, sigh.

I know he is new to the position, but I can't wait to get back to Texas so Mitch Moreland can handle first base. Young has not had a good two games in this series defensively.

Rangers with that luck assist. Detroit take note next time on how to do a proper sacrifice flyout, kinsler made it look easy.

loL did i just see a pitch runner that looks more slower and more fatter than the one they replaced? i guess Tony has a plan or something

Ugh, I hate pitcher duels but it made the 9th worth it. I was just starting to curse out Texas for not having the balls to start playing aggressive. Then came the steal and from there they just started testing the arms of the outfield (although Pujols helped us out by fucking up being the cutoff man, which ultimately cost them the game). That's the team Rangers need to be again from here on out or else they're going to lose. Seriously, they look like two different teams between when they smoked Detroit and now.
Damn. It makes sense. He has had so many warning track fly balls this postseason that he normally would have crushed. I didn't realize he was as bad off as he is.
The sac fly he hit off of Rhodes in game two is normally a ball he crushes out of the park when healthy. Just please, PLEASE hold together for three more wins, Josh.

Well, he's taking off days completely off so that's a good thing. If that fat fuck Youkilis can play through a hernia than Josh certainly can. Seeing how is in a much better shape. The jet stream will be Josh's best friend for these 3 games.

I want to smack the shit out of Kinsler this series. Such awful defense on routine plays, bobbling the ball and bad throws. Is this normal for him or what?

And now Napoli blows an easy throw to home. Jesus-fucking-crhist.

You want to smack the only guy who has hit this series for the Rangers, is primarily responsible for their win, and has played pretty good defense this series? He can commit all the errors he wants if he is hitting around .600 and has a higher OBP than that.

I can't believe the Rangers just shit the bed this inning. That absolutely terrible call should get that umpire pulled for the rest of the series. A fucking full step.

Also I don't understand why Napoli is at first instead of Moreland. I know Moreland hasn't hit, but you don't replace Mike's terrible glove with someone who hasn't been playing the position in the second half of the season.

A terrible call on a throw off the mark, so who can you blame? Umps make bad calls all the time, what new. All I'm saying is he just needs to take his time and make the plays. I wanted to smack him because it has been an ongoing issue this series. Best offense is a good defense.

Anyway, the game is at least exciting without the pitcher's duel of the past two games. Sadly, I think Cards are just opening the floodgates more.

Umps make bad calls, but he hadn't even hit the bag yet when the tag was applied and he didn't have a good angle. He should have deferred to the home plate umpire on that call.

rofl cards are just trolling at this point

LOL "that ball is absolutely murdered"

now pujols is just disrepecting at this point

Well, given the home run derby tonight I can't really see this game having any other outcome. Trivializes any defensive mistakes.

AND WOW 3 NOW FOR PUJOLS?

The gem from Holland is exactly what was needed after the brutal game last night. Game five is huge. It's time for CJ to shake his postseason funk and pitch like his season stats say he can.

Soon as I saw it was Edwin Jackson on the mound for Cards, I knew it would be an easy win. That guy doesn't throw strikes and if you just stand there he will walk you 90% of the time. I'm actually surprised Rangers didn't score more off him TBH.

Also, I love how Fox announcers can't stop sucking Pujols dick. The bias is pretty obvious and when Napoli hit that 3-run blast, it shut them up for half a minute straight before they could express their disappointment rofl.

Rangers lucky Holliday is a bum that can't resist wildly swinging at ball 10 ft above the strike zone should have been a walk in run

Great game for sure. Hell of a game from Napoli, and amazing homer by Beltre going down to a knee to go down and get the curveball.

yeah it was a nice shot. I was really happy moreland went deep as well because I really like him and want him to come through. 446 feet is absolutely nuts.

Oh my god last night's game was gripping start to finish. By all rights, Cards should have won given the miserable defensive plays. Rangers just took advantage of their mistakes and not vice-versa. The comic relief from Holland was perfect, too. MORE PLEASE!

Game 6 has been delayed until tomorrow due to rain concerns. 8:05PM ET first pitch, as well.

Game 7, if needed, will be on Friday with first pitch at 8:05PM ET.

Ah good. Was afraid I was going to miss the ending of the WS. Might miss tomorrow, but can at least catch Friday night for the possible game 7.

Breaking away from our regularly scheduled programming to remind everyone that the worst human being on God's Earth happens to own the Dodgers.
They are saying we're 100 percent liable. But does that mean Norwood and Sanchez, who beat this guy up, have no liability? And, does it mean Mr. Stow himself has no liability?

--McCourt's attorney Jerome Jackson told ESPNLosAngeles.com.
OMG. Hell is too good for this shitbag.

I hope that first inning doesn't bite the rangers on the ass. They should have put up at least an extra run after having someone on third with no outs.

Being down a run instead of being tied stinks.
Rangers are leaving way too many runners on base.
Yeah they need to cash in on some of these opportunities. There is too slim a margin of error to leave this many runners on base. Napoli can't be the only one driving in runs. Someone else needs to step up.
Hell, that was applicable in 2005. No excuse for him to be out there in 2011.
I thought he would be alright at first since it isn't a big defensive position, but this postseason has been terrible. He was bad at third last year and has been worse at first this postseason.

Cardinals have nobody to blame but themselves for pissing away this game let alone the series if they cant pull it off tonight. Inexcusable mistakes on the players 1 after the other as if they were trying to outdo the Detroit Tigers, on top of manager blunders down the stretch just isn't gonna cut it. Series should have been over in 4 realistically in 5 but it seems La Russa is content on giving shit away.
