Doh... would have been sweeter if I didn't have to pay sales tax! Still... didn't pick up any games (oh how I WISH they'd had DS preorders!) but a crap load of DVDs... ended up saving about $60 off retail :D Thanks for this!
 
DO NOT BUY NEW ITEMS FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

I've traded in at least a Hundred games there(and FYE) and the games have to be Like New & Complete Condition for them to accept them. Even a small hair-line scratch will get your games rejected.

I guess FYE gift cards are invalid. I just tried mine with no luck. Maybe you need the wherehouse music gift card. (See below)

How do I use my Wherehouse Music gift card on the web site?
At the "Your Billing Info" portion of checkout there is a hyperlink at the top of the page saying, "Want to redeem a Gift Card? Click here!" Click on that link to enter your Gift Card number and Gift Card pin number code from the back of your card. You must scratch off the gray and black rectangle located next to your gift card number to uncover your pin number. Once the fields have been filled out click on "Proceed" to continue your transaction, then click on "Redeem" and the Gift Card credit will be applied to your order.

I can vouch for that. I picked up Burnout 3 used for $15 awhile ago and it was in perfect shape, with manual.

Shame I decided against shipping used games to wherehouse.com for credit. I stopped after FYE started being a pain in the ass about taking in games and it became too much of a hassle.

Wow, thanks for posting this OP. I just dropped almost $200 on a bunch of DVD TV box sets (including two of the Transformers box sets that are out of print now). And my wife actually approved of the purchase :)

How did you get them to show up? All I see are the seperate 19.99 volumes.

Nevermind, have to get technical with what you type, I figured they'd be long OOS by now anyways lol.

Anyone else have any recommendations on some good television box sets to pick up? Scrubs Season 1 was still too expensive used, I can get it for 29.99 brand new and throw an employee discount on top of it, so it will end up being the same price (after shipping).

I would have thought it would be 22.99 used, but no dice.

Yeah, of course the only big box that's in stock (not the individual discs) is my Season 1. Ah well.

Edit: Who has the license for Transformers now? I'm hoping to God if they put out DVDs again they'll rerelease the ones currently out and somewhat match the packaging.

Hey, I don't mind at this point, getting both Family Guy sets for 19.99 a piece is my deal of the day - not to mention Curb Your Enthuiasm Season 1 and 2, since I don't have HBO anymore.

I was going to get Seinfeld, but they show it pretty frequently on television, and I'm actually home to watch all the re-run's, so I passed for now.
 
ive been looking to get Highlander seasons for a while, so works out for me, 28 a piece(wherehouse credit, so like $7 out of pocket =])

If I can get my paycheck tonight, I'm dropping cash for a few of the upcoming Batman SE's and maybe (but not likely) Beast Wars S2 or S3. S1 might be needed for completeness, but it was pretty boring.
 
Somebody drop a list of good tv box sets that would be worth getting with this deal... I really can't think of anything else that screams must have.

The Office (BBC version) is a very good show. Probably overlooked by a lot of people.

If you get The Office, make sure you get the version that comes with both seasons and the special. The special ties everything together very nicely.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if all these orders go through. They're likely losing money on a lot of this stuff.

Well, I don't really see anything worth getting on DVD that I can save more on here than during the DDD sale. I'll probably wait on movies and see if I want any games or cds.
 
I just picked them up at DealRush.com before coming here - for a site that never, ever has coupons to put this one out, and way better than the coupons they do put out, is the shit. I just had new credit go in today, so I picked up Growlanser Generations Deluxe for $53 and now should have just enough to get X-Men Legends 2 for $0.22 after credit and coupon once their site gets it up.

Please don't expire before than coupon!!!!

Well, I have a cart filled of used dvds, but I don't know if I want to go through with it..

Pros:
-prices of the dvds in my cart are cheaper than ddd prices (I compared this sale to ddd's 20% off sale)

Cons:
-shipping looks like it kills the deal
-all items are used
