If Ness wasn't an Ernie-Sesame-Street looking guy I might be more motivated.

Never played Earthbound and I thought he was terrible in smash bros :whistle2:/

Got home after a half day of work to find it waiting for me thanks to Amazon Prime :)

Now to try to make a worthwhile hero...
 
Just picked up a copy managed to find one at Wal-Mart after striking out at Best Buy and Toys R Us. So far I haven't done anything, aside from mess with the character creator. I am going to attempt to make a Simon Belmont, but this takes some getting used to.

Also Rad Nana on the Hall of Heroes is awesome. Being able to play through this game as a giant banana riding a skateboard is awesome.
 
Has anybody found out when Best Buy is getting their copies in? I've got some RW certs to use up and want to buy it there if at all possible.

alright, link is 80% done. normal pose is all but perfect. I have the walk animation of him swinging his arms (maybe a bit too much) with his feet moving, as well as his hat. I want to make his hurray pose the triforce holding up pose, but that will be for tomorrow I guess. I want to play the game for about an hour or so to get the animations to make more sense in context with the game.

how do i upload my guy and what not when he's done?

You go into your save area of the PS3 XMB. There's a separate section for game saves and custom characters. Just copy the character to a flash drive or something, then upload it, folder and all. Don't pull the files out.
 
you would just copy the save from your ps3 to a usb stick then upload it to one of the sites like megaupload.

yeah i used to use SSS, when i had no prime but it tends to take longer, but now that i have prime (amazing) i either get 1 day or at least 2 day.

is that yours? That was the first search result that came up when I checked for Link models. It is good, but I wanted a more old school Link.
 
I think its great that everyone is spending all this time making their "perfect" characters. I however have spent more time playing the game than messing with the editor and I have to say that this game is completely addicting and awesome. I am glad I finished my first run through of Nier last night so now I can concentrate mostly on this. Poor Monster Hunter Tri is going to be getting love in small doses for a little while lol.
 
Normally I consider Gamestop's trade in values to be bad choices, but I may make an exception in this case. :)
I really want this game I think.
 
nah thats not mine, someone else made it. eventually there will be a lot of really well made ones, i just installed mine and will start later on tonight.
 


Here's a retro version of Link I made, using modern hair and eye colors.
Not bad considering I have 0 artistic talent I'd say.

I originally had his shield in there (and on his right hand), but the game forces the in-game shield onto the left hand so I had to delete the shield since it was getting covered up.

If anyone's interested I can upload the character edit file.
 
This game is great. I played for 3 hours straight and only stopped because I had other stuff that needed to get done. I cleared the Grass Temple and the Forest Temple, and I spent a lot of time exploring until I reached points I couldn't advance past. So awesome.

same i was headed towards the desert temple and stopped at the inn. so far its great, really lovin it. i did go for the no hit boss fight trophies so they kinda got on my nerve for awhile haha.

Love this game, but one thing bugs me. I had to look one thing up that was irritating me then I found out there are a LOT of time sensitive stuff in the game that dissapears once you complete other parts. I hate it when games do that!

Flame shield up. Okay, I TOTALLY see this being a blatant leeching of Zelda. The first dungeon's treasure is a boomerang? Octoroks, Moblins, Likelikes? A Legendary sword in the woods? Dash Boots? Hookshot? A character editor but everyone is making Link... yea alright then...

Beyond not finding enough keys and not being able to open a door in the first dungeon because I didn't use them in the right order (what the?), the game is pretty good. I'm taking it in small doses because I see how on one hand trophies keep unlocking fast (unlocked 7 within the first 15 minutes), and on the other, some will take a while to get. I'm a trophy nut, sue me...

Echoing this sentiment, don't worry about the character you choose to start the game. It allows you to change characters every time you load a save file.
 
My copy shipped! Saturday is the estimate.

I fully beat Little Big planet... so I think I will play Heavy Rain (it is supposed to be 8-10 hours.. and I play 2-3 hours a night) until 3D Dot Game Heroes arrives! I am trying to maximize my play time :D. I want to beat 3D Dot Game Heroes before Super Mario Galaxy 2 :D!

I need to edit the attack animations and do the tri-force pose, but I think you'll like it alot more than the one you're used to seeing.

Ill probably do my octopus from before tonight. kinda looking forward to it really
