Yeah, is there some trick to the rare zombies? I have yet to find even one and I've been playing a while.

The fishing game is awesome though.
You need to use a specific weapon's special attack a specific way in a specific stage to make them show up. There's a list online I used to kill them all. I just need four more medals and I've done everything in that game, but some of them are infuriating.

Thanks for the info. Was hoping it would be more random than that. Guess I'll have to search online for a guide.

This week, Target has Eshop cards buy 1, get 1 10% off. Got two $10 cards since I plan to buy Yumi's Odd Odyssey and Cooking Mama 4. It's not much off, but it's something.
I think you can get Gamestop gift cards from Raise for better than 5% off and just buy the Eshop cards that way.

You can pay $10 or more for all the games, and for the ones on multiple platforms you will get a code for each one.

(5 WiiU codes and 5 3DS codes for $10)

And for those unfamiliar with Humble Bundle, it's worth noting a few things here:

Next week (Tuesday at 2:00 PM EDT / 7:00 PM GMT), some bonuses will be revealed. In order to have access to them, you'll need to pay enough to unlock the Beat-the-Average (BTA) tier.

For Humble Bundle, you can "lock in" a BTA price in two ways, effectively protecting you from further fluctuations in price. The less reliable way is to "tab lock" it--all you have to do is keep a tab with the BTA you prefer open, and, so long as you're logged in (this is important) and don't refresh, that's the price you'll be expected to pay from that tab, no matter how many other tabs to the site you open in the mean time.

The more reliable method is the "penny lock." If you pay at least a penny for the bundle (I think PayPal is the only payment method that lets you pay that little, though), you'll get a personal bundle page in your Humble Bundle library (in the top right corner, click on your username, and then on My Library in the drop down menu; scroll down until you see the appropriate bundle, and click on that link). During the run of that bundle, and for 30 days afterwards, you can increase your payment. If you increase the payment by the difference between what you paid and the price of a given tier, you can access all the games unlocked at that tier (and any less expensive tiers, of course). This method also locks in the BTA price as it was in the tab that you paid that penny (or more).

I take it if I pay the $10 amount I get access to all future announced games , though without worrying of an increase in my donation?

Or since this is going to charity, just pay 10 bucks and hope some of the unannounced bonuses are worth your while

If I pay the $10, will I get those bonuses you said on Thursday? This is the first time I've ever bought something on humblebundle.com

First of all, I'd thank you to learn to quote properly.

Second, if you're that concerned about charity (which only gets a 10% cut unless you play with the optional sliders), you'd be doing the charity a favor to pay as little as you can here to get what you want and pay the difference directly to the charity in question.

Actually have everything except Stealth 2 and the base games so I'll just pay $1 and hope Stealth 2 hits PS+.

I miss when you could pay the minimum and get the new unlocks.

That was so long ago... so very long ago.

I'd say it's about damn time. Nintendo already has been letting us use gift certificate codes, and now Humble Bundle will make me not need to buy another eshop card for awhile.

It's also rare that the second week bonuses are as high-profile as the other games, so don't get your hopes up for, say, Shantae and the Pirate's Curse.
Thanks, it's already a pretty great bundle so anything that gets added will just be a plus. I won't get my hopes up for anything over 5-6 bucks.

Anyone want Guacameele but don't want to spend the buck? I'll trade it for something. A 3ds club nintendo game?
Please keep the trade stuff in the Humble Bundle thread or the trade forum, wherever the mods prefer to keep that stuff, since you're posting this in multiple threads.

Hah, this was exactly what exactly what popped into my head when I was thinking of "games I want to be unlocked but won't be."

I'm sort of torn, as I only have a 3DS, and while I foresee myself getting a WiiU eventually, it's not too imminent. The only 3DS eShop game I own is Moon Chronicles from a sale a month or so ago, but I have a few of the games on Vita via PS+, like Woah Dave and Steamworld Dig.I'll probably just pay $1 for Mighty Switch Force, and up it next week if an unlock is nice. At this point, no point in not spending the full $10 if I"m going to increase my payment.

If I had to guess (and they stuck with the same group of devs) maybe you would see either the second Might Switch Force or the Wii U version of the first game added at a higher tier.  Season pass for Moon would probably be a good fit but seems unlikely.  Really good bundle though and the right additions may get me to go from $1-10.

Soo, went to the eShop to redeem my Humble Bundle games and found that Nintendo had put a hold on my account. Apparently a Majora's Mask 3D code I had purchased on ebay a week ago was bought with a stolen credit card. They're removing the hold, but apparently you only get one fraudulent credit card incident on your NNID and then they permanently ban you from the eShop.

So be careful when buying codes online people! Unfortunately, I won't be deal hunting for digital downloads on ebay anymore...

I'll be cross-posting this to the WiiU thread, but I figured I'd ask here too.

Any opinions on whether the 3DS or WiiU version is better for Steamworld Dig and OlliOlli? I don't see myself playing the games on both systems, so I'm trying to figure out which ones to install.

Glad you got it restored but we called that one. Hope you're able to get your money back from eBay as well.

Yeah :/ I learned my lesson. Thought the worst that could happen would be if the code didn't work that ebay would cover me, but jeopardizing my NNID is no joke. Feel bad if anyone had purchased a code and already left feedback.

There's stories of bannings and Nintendo pulling the rights to all digital games from those accounts and systems. Enough reason for me to not mess with it.

Cave Story, VVVVVV, and Ikachan are all 50% off in the eShop, when did this happen? I check for price drops pretty regularly and was hoping these would be part of the discount on thursday, nice little surprise.

Did any sales expired today, or are these just additions?

Somewhat interested in a couple of those new sale games, but since they're not expiring for three weeks, I'll wait until next week's humble unlocks are announced. I'd hate to buying something now only to see it as a bonus next week.

I already own Cave Story+ (Steam) and Cave Story 3D (cart), but I may just buy Cave Story again.  CS+ is good fun but I play my 3DS more than anything.  CS3D is cool, but the implementation of 3D is almost too deep and a lot of the colors make it look murky in places.

What are peoples' thoughts on VVVVVV, Nightsky, and Ikachan on the 3DS?  I own the first two on PC as well (I also bought the various soundtracks for VVVVVV - really cool), but again, portable 3DS versions sound like fun.

Sucks that 1001 Spikes still has bugs.  That game looks perfect for the 3DS :(

I'd wait til the humble bundle adds new games before buying anything from the e-shop. I think Nicalis games are a prime candidate to be added to this bundle.

Cave Story is a really good fit for the 3DS and I need to go back to out eventually. Enjoyed it much more then on the PC.

Ikachan looks really fun to me and is always praised for its design quality. It's just that it's about an hour long. $2.50 seems fair to me for that.
