I would wager that you are dead wrong.
Lots of people watch action movies. Why? Violence. Blood often comes along with that.
Same thing applies to action-based anime, along with action-based video games. Do you really think the majority of people on a board like this have some aversion to violence? Do you think Gears of War or Grand Theft Auto would have sold as many copies as they did if people did not like violence and blood?
Those who don't like violence and blood (at least on this board) are absolutely, with a doubt, in the tiny, tiny minority.
And really, why would you call it "crap?" You may not like it, but that does not mean it's crap.
On a different note, your name includes the words "death" and "scythe." You sound like the type of person who would love violence and blood.
I like violence , action and blood , but there is a point that it becomes too much and the thing in question (whether it be movie , game whatever) becomes more about the violence and less about the entertainment. I would say the SAW movies and Manhunt are prime examples of this.
Personally , based on reviews and comments I've heard about Elfen Lied , I probably wouldn't like the show either due to it's so called violence quotient , but I might end up renting it from netflix because , ironically enough , its recommended to me from them. I'm williing to give a show or game a chance most of the time , even if I think I'm not gonna like it.
Edit: To Rollett , it may be a topic about deals , but it's also discussion pertaining to whether deals on said shows might actually in fact be deals.
