AC:WW Discussion Thread - Visits/Trades/etc.

I noticed this too. Of course, this is a damn sight better than the GC version where a dresser held, like, 3 things. But in AC:WW, can you use different dressers in different rooms to increase storage? I just have the 1 room now, but I know you get others later when you upgrade. Can anyone confirm how storage is handled then? Is it still only one storage per house, or do you get one per room?

One per house, I have the mansion and all my storage is linked.

Sorry about that. I didn't have my gates open until 9:45 PM PST, I still have them open but I'll try opening up some ports on my router firewall so you don't get that error.

Edit: Just got your mail, thanks for the gyroid! If you keep your gates open I'll keep checking it and if you're idle I'll just mail yours.

What facial hairs have people seen? So far I've got a hold of:

- Curly moustache
- Small moustache
- Big Brother moustache
- King's beard

The curly moustache and Big Brother moustache go great with my top hat and moldy tshirt... but I think I need something more spectacular. If only the lid of my top hat was hanging off, harkening to the Hollywood boxcar bums of 1920s cinema gold. :(

The small moustache looks like a Hitler moustache, by the way. :X

I have all types of fruitseses, too... I believe so, anyway. If anyone wants any, just add me to your friends list -- just let me know if you do so.

And speaking of turbans, I visited someone's town (I forget whose...), and they had mummy wrappings on their head. I trembled in awe and my mind raced as I imagined the possibilities of an elongated Frankenstein brow being available for purchase around Halloween time. :O

my able sisters got the mummy wrappings in a few days ago. I forget why I didn't buy it, I think I had to go pay off my mortage and didn't have enough left over. hmmmm. it didn't look that spectacular to me though. and btw, anyone have an extra turban?

'Just completed my Robo set, and lava lamp set with the help of CAG AC trading :) OH!!! **Extra awesome: Ribbot just gave me his pic...which complements the robo collection nicely! ...i think he's the only robo character in the game, too! How lucky :D

I'll open up my gates as soon as i have my town perfect for 15 days straight ( i think i have 4 more to go... ), so i can get the golden watering can. I've read elsewhere you need the golden can to grow the golden roses....

**Just a warning to those working towards the perfect rating** ...

-DON'T leave anything on the ground!! Since my dresser is full, i've been tossing extra items in front of my house.. Well, it screws up your rating apparently. So bury 'em instead.

I'll be up for trading more over the weekend ^_^

I have a question. First, I think this game is great. I had the GCN version, mainly for the NES games (the challenge of collecting them, not actually playing them, because I also like PC emulators), and I had initially thought to pass on the DS version, but it would have been a huge mistake, because this one seems to have even more depth and since I only have time to play for 30 minutes max in a sitting, the game is perfect for me and keeps revealing little secrets everytime.

Anyways, I just ran into Crazy Redd in my town, and he has a couple things I'm not interested in, but he also has a "perfect" painting...I don't know what this is? I know there are fake paintings in the game, and that judging from his shady nature, he sells them, but is it possible to get a legit painting from him? Is it something I donate to the museum?

Anyways, its been nice to run into one or two of you online...lookin forward to being able to hook a CAG comrade out should anything rare turn up in my town...trading and collecting seem to be what will make this game last forever...

'Kay, I planted a money tree. It is currently as large as a normal tree, but bears no money! (it reached it's current size today) Is this normal? I hope I didn't waste my 25k bells.

Got a Coconut which I think will grow, and Nook had Robo Chair and TV today. Sweet! I also gave Lyle 2 paintings. Tree still has no money, though. I think it failed. =[

Once my fruit trees grow again, I'm going to plant a bunch of them. I'm planning on planting them like this:

I got an orange today in the mail. I now have oranges, pears, peaches, cherries, and coconuts. I think all I am missing are apples, am I correct?

The song "Forest Life" is the ending credits song from the original Animal Crossing. I always that song, so it was a nice surprise to get that tonight.

That should be correct. I've got apples in my town if you want them and if you'd like to swap for some peaches. :)
