these deals have been horrible compared to past lightning deals. retailers use the perception of the awesomeness of black friday to move poor sellers. Yes, there are some decent deals to be had in limited quantities, but overall there are way better deals outside of this week.
 
Is target still selling L4D2 and Dragon Age for $44 in store? I think I'm going to use that $10 coupon and pick up those games just in case because Amazon is having me a bit concerned atm.

I had thought it might have been Grim Fandango, but looking at the box art, it says " an epic tale of crime and corruption." I suppose the other, more obvious, feature that disqualifies it is Amazon not having it in stock and that it's a 10-year-old game.

Or maybe they're just having problems getting rid of the 360 version..
 
saw is actually a pretty decent fun game.. especially if you are a fan

also i played both version of Batman and the 360 version definitely felt tighter. Ps3 only had those joker missions which werent all that to me. I recommend the game though regardless of system.

I don't know why but I thought Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 for 10am deal because for some reason when I saw Guiness World Record I was thinking like most super heroes in a gamer or something. It's probably Batman AA though
 
I think Amazon does not know anything about the sports they are making these "clue" phrases for:

Yesterday: Something about "boxing gloves" and it turned out to be UFC 2009 Undisputed

Today: "Get ready to rumble!" turns out to be Smackdown vs. Raw

The boxing gloves pissed me off because I have been following MMA for years and hate when people say they use boxing gloves because they dont. And "Get ready to rumble!" is definitely associated with Boxing.

Even if they do have a $40 Batman: AA I think I'll hold out. It's only a matter of time until all those collector editions are bargin priced for $40 too.
 
Hmm Batman is at $52.99 now, Im gonna guess they are going to go with a $39.99 pricepoint for Arkham Asylum. With my $10 L4D2 Credit I might have to jump on this one.

WWE has a PPV event called the Royal Rumble in january. They've only been doing it for the past 22 years. Second only to Wrestlemania.

I'll say this again since it looks like it slipped right through the cracks:

Is it possible that the limited edition bundle could be Beatles Rockband? Or has this been officially confirmed by amazon as a Tekken 6 bundle?
 
i tried resetting my computer but still got the laoding circle im thinking its on amazon's end.
lets hope it fixes quickly.

The Black Friday Lightning Deals box is stuck in a perpetual loading state for me as well. However, the normal Lightning Deals is loading fine and it has all of the same video game deals.

It has a lot less games on then ormal list (which is loading for me as well)...

Thank god I'm not the only one with the infinite loading. Figures I went to check the clues just after it started happening. Can't even check any of the other categories.

Sigh, will you just get rid of your shitty system already Amazon?
 
Mine is stuck loading as well. All I'm really after today is the Tekken bundle, I'm really hoping for a good price.

Oh yeah. You're right. The 9AM and most of the 12PM deals are missing from the normal lightning deals. Hopefully, it'll be fixed by then, but at least we do have some sort of a back up for most of the other deals.

Ya like Fallout 3, and the slimer edition of Ghotbusters. I have way to many games on my plate as it is, and I wouldnt mind waiting around for a good deal on the special edition.

I spent time with both versions and i rather preferred the 360 version because of the controls (and that is saying a lot considering i like the dual shock 3 more then the 360 controler.) The controls just felt more fluid and natural on the 360 but that is just my 2 cents, it is still a fantastic game on both systems and if you're into the Joker bonus levels (again, I did not enjoy the bonus level) the PS3 version is a good buy.

Here is hoping my test ends early and ACII doesn't sell out too fast! I wonder how hard it would be to buy it over the iPhone...
 
Assassin Creed 2 will probably be $44-40, I couldnt imagine them lowering it any lower, its been out exactly a week. I beat it and it is a great game, but not much replay value. If you dont care about all the collectables then I'd say its a week rent.

I agree. The game just came outl last week. The fact that L4D2 and Dragon Age will be on sale for as low as $35 on BF is probably due to special deals retailers made with EA.

Hell, AC2 is worth full retail price IMO (albeit I paid a lot less). I'm so hooked on the game. :D
 
I just realized that there hasn't been a single DS or PSP game yet, theres been the ds light tho. I hope theres some discounts on DS games eventually.
 
Didn't have much interest in Saw but was curious on the price. $40 for a game I've never seen anyone say good stuff about is too much. I hope this isnt a sign for the price on Batman: AA
